"Clary, it's only Ria that knows his house I don't" she was glad she got an excuse. "But aunty Ria can give us the deaciption" he replied. Tyndall's arm fell with frustration. "Clary speaking the truth, I don't want to see that guy because we don't get along that well and I want to do everything to avoid him" she confessed. "But the bible says we should follow peace with all men. How come you hate uncle Juan" he asked with a criticizing look. "I don't hate him" she corrected him quickly. "Then why refuse to take me to his place?" Tyndall knew there is no amount of words to be said that would change the little guy's heart except she concurs. * * * * * * * * * * * "Juan! Juan! Juan!! Juan!!!...." "Mum, why call my name as if I fainted?" He asked blankly with a frown. She eyed him. "You must be stupid" she said sternly. Ever since he came back from his long trip, he has always been avoiding his mother because they will always quarrel on one issue. Just one issue. He is his mother's favorite and he love to be around her but now opposite is the case. He would never love to stay with her for a minute. "You are not thinking at all". "Was I called all the way here to be insulted?" He wouldn't have come if not that she threatened to visit his place of work. He already knew the reason for the call. "Hillary called me" she said with a little calm voice. He did as if he didn't hear her. "Who called?" "I think my words are clear enough for your ears" she replied back to her strict no nonsense mother. He gave a nonchalant look. "She's your friends daughter so no big deal in her calling you" he replied dryly. She gave her a frown knowing he was definitely pretending not to know the meaning of her words. "If she had called to say hi, would I have told you? You do have an idea of why she called me" she said firmly. "I don't mum" he denied. She decided to let him go with his lies. "She came to report you". Juan didn't give any readable expression. All he did was look at his mother as if she didn't say anything. This was really annoying the poor woman. "You won't say a thing aside to look?" Ahe almost shouted. "Mum, you didn't ask a question and I'm not the one who reported neither do I know when the report was given" he replied. She felt like hitting the boy but she wouldn't want to harden his heart.. She wanted to find it the truth before any reaction. "She told me you blacklisted her number and anytime she tries to reach you with another line, once you know she's the caller, you would end the call and blacklist the number immediately. Is that true Juan?" "Not true" he denied knowing fully well that it is very true. She gave him a skeptical look to tell him that she isn't falling for his lies. "If you are sure it is not true let me have your phone" she said stretching out her hand to collect his phone. "My phone is private mum" he declined. "Private huh? Show me your blacklist then" she said firmly. He shook his head. "No". "What is no?" She frowned. "This is the tenth girl I'm bringing to you and you are rejecting. What is wrong with you?" She said irascibly. "Mum, I didn't tell you to bring !e any girl" he grumbled. "You didn't but I took it upon myself to get you one since you seems incapable of bringing one" she said strictly. "I'm capable of getting myself a girl" he argued. "I can see that and that's why as old as you are you've not for once bring me a girl and you dare have the effrontery to reject the ones I bring" she insulted. "They are pest to my life" he grimaced. "Where is that one that is not a pest? Look at Jason your friend. He is happily married and I'm sure his wife would by now be carrying his child" she said confident in her words. Juan gave her a mocking shocked look and then burst into laughter. "I don't think what I said requires any laughing" she said sternly. "Never knew you changed profession to a seer that you already know Jason's wife is pregnant without seeing her" he mocked. "It's not funny at all and I'm not joking" she hissed. "I'm never interested in the choice of your Lady you bring. Just bring one so I can be sure I have a son. Is that too much to do?" She was seriously tired of his attitude towards marriage. "Mum" he said softly. "I've told you countless times to calm down, I'm working on it" he coaxed. "Calm down?" She said blankly. "I don't know the kind of lady you want to bring that you've been telling me to calm down for ages. Are you bringing me a spirit?" "Mum!" Even though Juan find her words funny, she was much serious about it. "Yes your searching is getting too long because there are lost of decent ladies everywhere. You might be searching for a spirit" she said and he laughed. "You better stop laughing" she warned. "It's cracking me up mum" he said amist laughter. "I'm damn serious here boy. Why won't you just listen to me? Am I really your mother?" "The last time I checked, mothers are in the best position to answer such question such question" he said scornfully. He received a knock and he groaned in pains. "Silly thing". "Mum that hurts" he groaned. "Do I look like I care" she snapped. "Mum let's do it this way" he gave her an encouraging look that made her focused.
