She knew it will look like that since she slapped him the other day. She has been looking for an avenue to apologize but it seems Juan didn't even hold a grudge although he has been making sure to avoid her. "Isn't that a obvious lie?" He mocked. "I've been meaning to ask if I have ever wronged you that you don't even seems to like me Ven from the first day we met" his voice was a bit serious but his smiles still hangs on. "That's not true. Juat because I feel uncomfortable around you doesn't mean I hate" she defended. The way their eyes locked made her uncomfortable that she looked away. "Why?" "I don't know" ahe replied grumbling. "But you are mean" she added. "I'm mean?" He burst into laughter. "Yes you are". "Now you know how I felt all those years. They weren't good days for me" he said in a smug voice. "I wasn't that mean. All I did was avoid talking to you" she said firmly. "Including harsh reply and look" he reminded. "You know I got to a stage I begin to get scared". "Scared of what?" "Maybe I've done something wrong and you caught me". Tyndall smothered her laughter. "Have you done that?" She gave an intimidating look. Juan shook her head. "It's as if I don't know myself anymore or that I don't even know what have done especially when you roll that eyes at me" he looked at her with a half closed eyes. Tyndall unconsciously rolled the eyes again and Juan smiled. "Are you also part of the people that thinks I look like a witch?" She asked with a frown. When Tyndall was much younger, she was tagged by her mate as a witch because of her bulging eyeballs. Even up to her university level, she was referred to the name when one of them accused her of trying to seduce her guy. It was part of the reason she stayed away from men. "A witch?" He was surprised. It never even crossed his mind but it got him thinking now. "Yes that was my Nick through school" she said shyly. Juan burst into laughter. Tyndall noticed that he loved laughing. No wonder he felt frustrated when he couldn't let out his laughter because ahe was always there to mock him or give him the look. "It's not funny" she frowned. "Of course it is" he said as he laughed. Tyndall eyed him and hissed "I don't think they lied" he said after his laughter resided. "What!" She looked at him sharply. "You want the truth?" She didn't give him a reply. She gave him a suspicious look. He lowered his voice. "I've always thought that you and your sisters are made with divine clay. You are really incredibly beautiful and adorable. I don't think I've set my eyes on such beauty" he said looking into her eyes. Tyndall was so suoriaed at his words.she asked herself that if he really felt like that, how come he didn't fall in love with Somaria. Ahe saw the sincerity in his eyes. "For them to name you that they just accepted the truth. You are too beautiful and charming. With one look a man is straight to hell. What else is the work of a witches" he said smiling. She got more shock. She didn't know what to say or react to his words she just did what she know how to do best which is roll her eyes. "You see" he chuckled. "I feel sometimes like running into the ground when ever you give me that look". "Juan" she called. He raised his hand midway. "No qualms, just talking". "And i don't feel comfortable with it". Yeah she can never feel comfortable as her sister's not long ex is talking about her. She could feel the rigidness of his words even though it isn't as it seems. "Ah I'm famished" they heard. Clary came sweating profusely. He placed Tyndall's phone on the table and settled down to eat her untouched food. This place is super fun. I took so many pictures" he said has he took her cutlery. Tyndall took her phone to see and she saw all the did with it. "Shit!" He blurted out as she took a spoonful of Tyndall's food. "This food is super cold" he added. The two looked at each other and then to the boy who grimaced at the food. Clary saw that Juan's food also wasn't touched. "When you knew you ain't ready to eat why order for it?" He queried. The look he put on, if not that he looks so small, he would have been mistaken for their elder brother. They didn't say a word. "You shouldn't tell me that you ain't eating anymore because no waste of food and money" authority ranged in his little voice.
