"Someone said the boss is around and I remember aunty Tin told me that uncle Juan's mum owns this place so seeing you with him made me guess" he explained. "Oh what a quick witted boy you are" she embraced him. "I'm a very good friend of uncle Juan. It's nice meeting you grandma" he said shaking her hand that is thrice his. "Nice meeting you my little prince". "Grandma called me little Prince" he jubilates. She smiled at the happy boy. "Is he your son?" She asked Tyndall who was giggling at the boy's reaction. "Sort of. He is a close friend's" she replied. "He's so adorable" she patted his cheek. "Come little Prince, let's leave the love birds alone while I go get you an ice cream" she said grinning asshe took his hand. "Love birds" Clary looked back to whisper and winked at them as he followed exuberantly. Immediately they were out of ear shots, Juan spoke. "What sis you make my mum believe?" His tone was neither harsh nor friendly. "I didn't make her believe anything. She already concluded when ahe saw us" she said nonchalantly. "You shouldn't have led her on" he said firmly. "Are you scolding me?" Ahe asked bluntly. "No I'm not. I'm just pitying you" he mocked. "For what?" She gave a skeptic look. "For not saying the truth". "Talking of saying tha truth" she adjusted looking at him strangely. "How come your mum didn't know anything about your relationship with Ria?" She asked ready to fight. Juan knew this was coming. "That wasn't my fault. It's Ria's" he replied calmly. "How?" Ahe didn't believe him. "She refused to see my mum. She said she is not ready. I even pleaded with her so as ease mum off me but she won't bulge" he explained Although she saw sincerity in his words, she didn't want to conclude he spoke the truth. "You should have told her yourself" she argued. "I sis tell her that I have a girlfriend but she didn't believe !e a bit. She thought I was making it up so as to avoid all those girls she's bringing". "You need to tell her the truth about us" she went back to their former conversation. "Me?" He giggled. "She will never accept a word I say when it comes to relationship. You were in the best position to tell her" he replied. "I didn't see any need since no harm done" she said with complacency. "You think?" He laughed. "Bet it with me Tin, very soon, I mean very soon you will hear from her. She will call you frequently asking to start the wedding preparation. I want to see how you would escape" he said scornfully. She frowned thinking he exaggerated. She knew her boyfriend must not hear about this. He didn't like Juan a bit. She was more scared for when the old lady will get to know that she was been tricked. "Don't dare try intimidate me" she snapped. "Let's wait and see" he laughed. She felt the need to explain her actions to him so that he won't think of what she didn't intend. "I've gat no choice here. She was super happy when she saw us and you didn't expect me to put a frown on her face. I was only been considerate here" she explained. "Oh I see" he mocked. She hated the mock on his face. "I've done my part, just do yours" she said sternly. "I don't gat you" he said giving the look. "The old lady needs in-laws. Go get her one as soon as possible" ahe adviced. "So as to complete the favour I juat did you" she added with pride. "Even though you don't deserve it" she grumbled. Juan chuckled at her last statement. "Thanks for the advice ma'am but I still need one favour since you are the carrier of favours" he said with a stiff smile. Tyndall dashed him a suspicious look. "Why not get married to me tomorrow?" He asked looking so serious. "What!" She said with a little quivering voice. "Since I don't have anyone to marry and you are also single, why not marry me to complete your favour of wanting to please my mum. So giving her in-laws won't be so hard. Don't worry you boyfriend will understand" he said smiling. Clary came running to her with a big bowl of ice cream. "Aunty Tin grandma gave me a big ice cream" he said happily not knowing the person he is talking to is not listening. "You must be daft" she said after she recovered from his shocking words. "Aunty Tin what have I done?" Clary asked sadly. She quickly turned to him. "Not you Clary" she patted his hair gently. "Call me little Prince like grandma did" he said pushing his lower lip out. "Alright little prince" she gave him a sweet smile. "Don't go ire. I was only giving you ideas on how to please my mum since that's your new occupation" he said laughing out loud.
