At the sound of her voice, he released and looked at her. He was surprised to see tears streaming down her cheek. He was so sure that he didn't say anything bad. "Why the tears Ria?" He asked softly. "I didn't know he was so pleased" she said sniffing. "Are you sure?" He asked because he didn't know why someone will cry when they are not sad. She nods as she collected the handkerchief he offered her. "I was so moved by his happiness" she said smiling. Larry snorted thinking she's so beautiful crying and smiling at the same time. "Hope he didn't disturb you?" He asked jot knowing what to say again. "No. He's such a nice boy" she smiled. "May I ask you a question?" Larry gave a weak smile. "Should I guess?" She tilted her head to the left and cock a brow to look at him. "You want to know about Clary's mum right?" He asked. She straightened up when he guessed right. "I know it's not a good memory and if you don't feel comfortable no qualms" she said been careful of what to say. "It's fine. I even need to let go" he gave a sad smile. She patted his hand gently not knowing what to say or do. Larry looked at her. "She died in an accident when Clary was barely a year old". Huge pain of loosing his wife gripped him again and Somaria could see that she just open an old wound. She regrets it. "I'm so sorry. My curiosity didn't allow me think" she apologized sadly. "No apologies. I think about her daily" he bowed his head as hurtful tears gathered in his eyes. He didn't even cry in front of anyone when his wife died and he felt like pouring down his tears not minding Somaria looking at him. Her aura felt conducive. "I got Dorothy on a platter of gold" he continued. She didn't expect him to continue but was glad he did. "She came to me by herself. She was a gift. She made me the man I am today. She's so pure Ria, just so pure" he finally couldn't control himself and let down his tears. Somaria wondered how a man could still mourn his wife so much after so many years. She really felt for him. "It's fine Larry" she herself want to cry but she has to be strong for him. "I miss her so much" he cried silently. "I'm so sorry" she pulled him to herself and hugged him. "Whatever happened has a reason" she added. "The only reason I could come up with is that God hates me" he said firmly. With the way he sat right and frown, it was clear that he had a grudge against God. Somaria felt his pain but shook his head in disagreement. "That's not true. God hates no man" she corrected. "I don't believe you. If he doesn't, He won't have taken Dorothy from me knowing she's my happiness" he argued doleful. "No Larry....." "You are saying this because you didn't know what I passed through when she died" he said bitterly. She dabbed his tears. "You shouldn't speak I'll of God. He deserves your appreciation" she said calmly. "For what?" He frowned. "He killed the only thing that matter to me and you expect me to appreciate Him? I won't and you can't force me" he said adamantly. "I know you are hurting but the truth is that God doesn't kill. The devil does". "What difference does it make since he allowed it" his voice was quite stern. "At times we ignore God and when He wants to come to our aide, we are too busy to listen or hear Him. Then when it happens we put all the blame on him" Her words hit him but he wasn't ready to accept her words. "Are you trying to take the side of God?" He gave a quizzical look. "No" she shook her head. "Just telling you that once you ignore God you've blocked your access to get his help" she said looking into his eyes. Larry was cuffed because he is guilty if ignoring who God is. Somaria knew she got him. "I know your pain because I know the pain of losing someone but we never hanged it on God. He truely cares about you" she said with a sweet voice. To Larry's suprise, he felt relieved at her few words. He could vividly remember that Melissa has always tried to convince him but he wouldn't bulge. The surprising thing is that she said a lot while Somaria juat said few stuff and he felt so convinced. "So are you going to change your thinking about God?" She asked. Larry nodded stiffly. "Please just go to Church for Clary. He loves it there" she pleaded. "You can come pick him" he said insouciantly. "Are you for real?" She lit up and he nodded. "Thank you thank you thank you" she said lifting his hand to her cheek.
