All Will Be Well

Jason POV
“So, is that the reason you asked my father to kidnap me?” She yelled to my face fiercely, causing confusion to grow the more on my face as I stared down at her.
She looked away from my face and crossed her arms under her chest.
“What do you mean?” I asked in disbelief, but she only huffed. “Roman Wesley is my father” She replied through gritted teeth, and my eyes widened on their own. “How is that even possible?” I asked her dimly, after I found my voice. “I mean, Roman has been working for me for some time now, and he had never mentioned he has any daughter to me” I explained, and I watch as her face softened a bit.
“He has been working for you?” She asked incredulously, pointing a finger at me; I gave a short nod in response. “What type of work?” She further asked, I breathe out softly. “You don't need to know about it,” I replied calmly.
“But honestly, I never asked him to abduct you. I just wanted to confirm if truly you were staying with Rodney and that's all” I confessed, she
stared at my face for some moment before nodding her head slowly.
“So, why are you here?” She questioned, while bringing her face down.
Uhm,
To take you back, aren't you my personal maid?
Gosh, Jason!
You can't possibly say that at a moment like this.
“Let's get you out of here” I said innocuously, she looked over at me. “You are taking me out of this place?” She asked, amazed.
I shot her a dashing smile, heaven knows I haven't been myself all this while, what I feel towards her is inexplicable.
I slowly reached for her slender hand, I took it in mine, hand in hand; we both headed out of the abandoned building.
I paced angrily in the living room
She just finished narrating everything Roman did to her and I couldn't control my anger right now.
That animal?
I will surely lay my fingers on him.
Who rapes their daughter? Rather, stepdaughter, he's such a douchebag, and he won't get away with this; I fumed inwardly.
I counted my steps to where she was sitting on the long couch in the living room; she should stop crying already.
I sat next to her, I pulled her close to my chest while I whispered smoothened words to her ear.
I used my free hand to collect my phone from my trouser pocket and dialed his number again.
Same result, his phone off.
Gee!
I need to do something.
Michael Shaw POV
“May I come in, Dad?” I heard Rodney asked from the door, and I looked up from the book I was reading to the door.
I smiled at him as I beckoned for him to come closer. “How are you, Dad?” He asked immediately he took his seat.
I adjusted on the bed and nodded my head,
“So how far have you gone?” I asked him, after a brief silence, he sighed deeply.
He leaned his head back and stared at nothing in particular.
I got down from the bed and slide my feet into my slippers and went to him on his seat.
I placed a hand on his shoulder, he forced a rueful smile.
He slowly sat up right and tossed a photograph of a lady on the center table; I picked it and gave it a closer look.
“Is she the same girl you told me about?” I asked him with a happy smile on my face.
He nodded.” I just collected it from her coffee friend, so we can have some copies and paste it around,” He explained, palely.
He sighed exasperatedly while running a hand through his hair.
“All will be well, son,” I assured as I patted his back.
Tamara POV
Maybe I was wrong about Jason all those while.
He has been so nice to me since we got to his house earlier today,, and I truly appreciate him; I owe him a lot.
He had promised to help me look for my father, I just hope he finds him very soon.
I really need answers from him.
I tucked the loose strand of my hair as I stared at the door.
Furthermore, I really miss Rodney.
Does he also misses me?
I'll have to plead with Jason to let me go see him tomorrow because I'm aware they don't really go well, and I wouldn't like to cause trouble between them.
I turned off the bedside lamp and pulled the duvet to cover me properly. So nice.
Rodney POV
I lay on my back, hugging my mom picture frame to myself as I stared blankly at the ceiling with tears finding their way out of my eyes.
"Where are you, mom? I miss you,” I mumbled as I sniffed back my running nose.
I am so sorry.
I won't ever forgive myself if anything bad happens to you, mom.
I heard my phone buzzes from the nightstand; disrupting my thoughts.
I glanced at its direction and looked away almost immediately; It's late, and I am not in the right mood to talk now.
The phone buzzes again, and I groaned loudly, I kept the picture aside before reaching for the phone. A private number?
I reluctantly swipe the answer icon before pressing the phone ton my ear.
“Hi brother” I heard, and I quickly registered who the voice belongs to. “If it's not my step-brother; then who else?” I said with so much sarcasm, and I could feel him smirking already.
“How have you been?” He asked, and I frowned immediately. “Cut the crap, Jason, why are you calling at this hour?” I shot at him fiercely and he laughed dryly.
“Chillax bro, it's a good news anyway” He said, and I shove a hand into my hair.
What's up with him?
“I just want to inform you that I've found Tamara already, and she's now with me” He announced, and I could feel my heart sank upon hearing that. “What?” I murmured, while my eyes dimmed.
