Sekhawat Palace Four pairs of eyes were glued to the television screen only, where a live session of counting vote ballots was going on. Myra was least bothered about that. She had a gut feeling that Rajendra's party would win following which a perfect position would be offered to him in ministry. Even if by any means his party fails to win, Ranvijay would anyhow kill Shaurya. They had their plan sorted perfectly with each and every step. Ranvijay and Randhir were busy making different phone calls whereas Myra kept on doing her casual work. Rajendra looked at his daughter in law with the corner of his eyes. She looked bothered and calm but only her son could guess what exactly she was planning. After three hours of counting Rajendra was leading with 23000 votes. Arvind was lagging behind but two major blocks were left. There was a high chance for Arvind to cover up the gap. In the meantime Ranvijay's phone started ringing. Looking at the screen the moment he tried to receive the call, Myra snatched away the cell phone. Frowning at her sudden actions when Ranvijay opened his mouth to speak, Myra showed him a sign of silence immediately. "Hello." Myra received the call with a different expression. "I know Ranvijay is not in a coma. Tell him to talk to me directly instead of killing my men using tricks." Myra kept the phone on speaker and the moment that familiar voice reached everyone's ears, a big silence appeared in the ambience. "Who told you he is killing your man? It is me who is doing such honour. If you have balls, meet me alone." A smirk appeared on Myra's face. "You bitch." Shaurya's growling reached Myra's ears. "Shhh.. Don't say something that you can't afford. I know you are sitting with your father at this time." Myra won that battle too. She knew Shaurya would be losing his patience soon, creating a big mistake. With the help of his vulnerable state they would be dragging him on his knees. Disconnecting the call, Myra looked at Ranvijay who was still holding a pissed off expression. "Myra, stop pulling every threat towards you. It was not even your battle." "You should have thought about it earlier before marrying me. It got entangled now. What else could we do?" Myra replied. Rajendra didn't dare to interfere in that matter. Rest of the people were busy keeping their eyes on the television screen only. Myra walked towards her room followed by Ranvijay. "Myra I can handle that." Ranvijay tried to assure her. "I know you can but I can't take the risk again." Her concern came in between. "Do you think Arthur would sit back idle if you dare to take such steps?" Myra frowned upon hearing such a statement. Since when Ranvijay and Arthur started having conversation that too regarding her? She couldn't even believe her ears. Men will be men. No matter what, the universal brotherhood never dies. To stop Myra in her action Ranvijay didn't even bother to pull Arthur on his side. Wow what a love story of Arthur and Ranvijay. "Why don't you both marry each other? Leave me and Sylvia. Both of you are the same." Myra was frustrated like hell. "First none of us is gay. Second, we both love someone else and I hope you know that better." Ranvijay winked while speaking to Myra. "Fine." Before their conversation could go longer one servant knocked at their door. He informed them to come down to have a look at the final result. Ranvijay and Myra both came down and sat with the rest of the family members. Randhir was sitting with his fingers crossed. Nandini was chanting god knows what. Rajendra was pacing like a maniac. On the other hand Arthur was almost gawking at the television screen. Sylvia was giving him hard glare time after time to remind him how to control his palpitations. He was still shouting at the translator for translating all that news faster. "Why didn't you learn Hindi from Aunt Minerva?" Sylvia couldn't stop but taunted him, seeing him impatient with the translator. "How would I know that my sister would find some Hindi speaking asshole to spend her life with?" The chuckle didn't go unnoticed by Sylvia. "Language Arthur." Sylvia scolded him. Arthur hugged her suddenly and pulled her to sit in front of the television to listen to the final result. The faster such a drama would end, the sooner his sister would return from India. He knew she had feelings for Ranvijay but he was not sure of their future. He was still not confident enough to let her lead a life back in India. "I hope you haven't done anything that cannot be reverted Myra." Arthur mumbled under his breath. The final ballot got opened and Myra remained silent. She knew it would not bring a huge change in Arvind's vote bank. But the major problem was the ballot was having votes from the area that was under Arvind's dominance. In that dead silence the only sound that felt audible was the ticking sound of the clock. "Now we can see Rajendra Singh Sekhawat leading with 24000 votes, confirming his domination in his existing position. Can Arvind beat Rajendra this time?" The female reporter kept on speaking in her professional tone whereas Rajendra got some goose bumps. Few more hours passed and the result came out with a sudden change. Arvind had a strong back up and he had tried his best. With the next ballot the difference in votes decreased and thus Rajendra got more tensed. Finally the result came up clearly making everyone freeze at their respective places. Myra looked at Ranvijay who was sitting beside her holding her hand. The remaining seconds passed quickly and they noticed people's celebration live. The sounds were getting clearer with time as the crowd reached their mansion. It was Myra's idea to keep everyone locked inside the house until the clear result was coming out. Rest of the party workers were outside. Nandini kept on asking, closing her eyes. "Do we make it?" The moment she opened the eyes she saw the most unexpected visual incident. Rajendra was digesting the news when Randhir was going through the number of seats that were lost or won. Myra took a few seconds to get that information registered in her mind. On the next moment Ranvijay's face was turned by Myra towards her and without letting him settle at that place she placed her lips on his rough one. Holding his one hand she deepened the kiss, forgetting every boundary she had, freeing herself to a certain level of independence. Nandini, Randhir, Rajendra all looked at them with such an expression that even Ranvijay sensed something different. He was lost in her mouth when he saw his family members with the corner of his eyes. Kissing in public in India is really a big deal, no matter what. He was unable to break the kiss but got embarrassed really badly. Myra released his lips and looked back at those gawking faces of others. Randhir was having a wicked smile whereas Nandini seemed really offended for such a matter. But the news was so satisfying that she decided to celebrate. Rajendra won the election. His party became the ruling party once again. And Myra ended up losing herself in Ranvijay's arms. She didn't bother about the place or something, she just kissed her husband. Yes, the man of her life. "If the election could make you do such things, I won't mind requesting the election committee to bring out an election every day." He smirked and Myra gave a weird look by saying. "Whatever." She knew her words were unbelievable as her actions spoke to her situation. Randhir was still smiling and came towards them by saying, "I think you both need a room now." Myra's cheek turned red immediately. Within half an hour reporters started coming in. A medical team came to portray the fake reports of Ranvijay. They had successfully made people believe that Ranvijay came out of coma only this morning. The entire story looked like an Indian soap opera and Myra couldn't stop her laughing. Officially wedding news of Randhir and Ragini was announced too. They were already engaged and news was not disclosed till then. Rajendra gave a justification on that matter by declaring the sudden rush that they had gone through. The opposition tried their level best but the new alliance with Solanki family made them lose their ground. Ragini and Randhir's marriage news took the scenario to a different level. "Isn't it the same thing that has been followed for a long time? Marrying off daughters of the Solanki family to the sons of Sekhawat?" Myra spoke when Rajendra was officially giving a statement about Randhir and Ragini's marriage. "Yes. It has been happening for a long time. For Solanki's Legacy and for Sekhawat's Takht." Ranvijay replied, hugging Myra from back while looking down where those reports were gathered. "What about us then Jay? I am not a real Solanki." Myra said in her calm tone. "About us? We will be the most desirable and feared couple in the history of Rajputana. Trust me, it doesn't matter whether you are a Solanki or Sekhawat. You are Myra Moretti Solanki Sekhawat. I believe that's enough for you." Ranvijay faked a tired face after putting so many surnames after her name. She was carrying the blood of two different and strong families. And she would never need anyone to introduce herself because she is her introduction. Ranvijay was rubbing his face on the crook of Myra's neck where Myra was looking blankly. She had one thing still left to complete. Shaurya Agnihotri. One after another things were falling at their right places. But then? After that she had to take a step that might hurt Ranvijay. But she couldn't keep on putting him in danger with her life and her enemies. Same goes with Ranvijay too. No matter how many times he would deny it, the truth would never change. They had to split, today or tomorrow. "If you are planning to run away, let me tell you something. No one can split us until death do us part." Ranvijay whispered near Myra's ears while securing her more in his tight hug. "Fuck. Since then he has started reading her mind." Myra spoke in her mind and turned her face to reply to him. "Then let death do that honour sir." "Myra." Ranvijay cupped her face strongly in his grip as soon as her words reached his ears. "Never ever dare to speak such words again."
