When you feel you are different from others, we feel alone, sadness, anger, and you feel out of place.
Ever since Joysie found out about her cousin, Joysie has always watched over her and never let her alone when she was with her older brother Tenner.
"Marriel, I'm going to sleep here!" Joysie said to her cousin, she was busy folding clothes. Tomorrow is Sunday so he knows he has a walk. He would accompany her wherever she went, wanting to make sure she was okay at all times.
Joysie and Marriel had a deep bond, their relationship was more than just cousins. Because of their past being both victims, Joysie remembered how it all started.
When Marriel's parents first died, neither of them showed any symptoms. In truth, no one was at fault in that accident. This is probably Marriel's parents' way of saying goodbye, fortunately Joysie's father is kind and adopted Marriel.
But he still doesn't understand why his older brother is always angry with Marriel. In the past few years, he saw how Marriel treated his brother Tenner. However, no matter how kind Marriel is, her older brother Tenner is always hurting her.
At the time when Marriel's parents died, Joysie never saw this Marriel being weak, it was only positive and there was absolutely no trace of sadness. Joysie then wondered if she was sad or what, if she was sad why didn't she share it with others or at least with her? So Joysie felt even more sorry for her cousin Marriel.
From the day he found out about Marriel's pregnancy, no one knew about it. They also hide it from his father Thomas, because he knows that he will inquire about who the father of the child is. Marriel's ex, Rankin Basil, also has no idea about what happened to Marriel. Joysie also has no intention of revealing what happened to her cousin.
Ever since Marriel lost her parents, they are her only remaining family. That's why Joysie never showed this evil, but it was the opposite of what her older brother Tenner was doing.
It's been a few years since they had gifts. The day Marriel's family had an accident, that was also the day they were at the park with her brother Tenner. Joysie witnessed how their car sped away and it seemed like something was chasing them even though there was none.
Last night of Marriel's parents' consciousness, Joysie felt strange. There were moments when his eyes seemed to blur and as if there were people running around him.
"Marriel, do you remember when you started to have a third eye?" Joysie said to her cousin.
"Everyone has a pineal gland or third eye. But my third eye became active the moment my parents and I had an accident. That moment was the signal, it showed me that we were going to have an accident, but I still made Rankin chase after them. " Marriel said.
"What do you mean? Well, Rankin was the one you were chasing. I saw you in the park before you had an accident on the cliff." Joysie said. Marriel was surprised by what Joysie said.
"We didn't have an accident on the cliff. We bumped into a tree. I still remember how the ghosts took us to that cliff. I was very scared, because I would have just moved a little and we would have fallen off the cliff. But I was saved by mommy, he made the backseat heavy and when I got out, he didn't let me face it. When I turned around, they were gone." Marriel's crying narrative.
Joysie consoled her cousin, but it was still a puzzle to Joysie how the ghosts brought Marriel's family to the cliff.
"How do they have the ability to move things? Like what happened to you, how did they bring you to that cliff? How did they have that ability? I was confused, I didn't think that they could hurt us invisible." Joysie said to her cousin.
"Do you know why our water bill is always high, there is a kid who turns on the tap every twelve o'clock. That's the only thing he does every day. He always turns it on, because that's what he died of. He died because in pain. He did not wake up early because he was so tired, as a result his father did not have a bath. In his anger, he locked him in a drum full of hot water and left him to die. So now he wanders and does not to get out of here. Because he thought he was still there in a situation where his parents were still alive. But that's impossible because he said, his birth was 1569." Marriel's story with her cousin Joysie.
"His father is very cruel. It's good that father is kind and doesn't scold us for showing off." Joysie said.
"But I'm still wondering, how come you also had a third eye? While you weren't in that scene, I mean you weren't involved in the accident that happened to us?" Marriel said to Joysie.
Joysie also wondered how it happened? But not even the slightest idea entered his mind.
"I don't know either, to be honest, every night is a bit creepy." Joysie said to Marriel, Marriel had already finished what she was folding.
"What is that?" Marriel is curious about Joysie.
"A man named Hector beats me every morning around two am to three am. He lays on top of me and strangles me, I don't know him. But his face is very familiar to me, I feel realistic. I don't because I remember people's faces in my dreams, especially when I don't know them." Joysie said.
"Hector?" Marriel said, as if she couldn't believe what she said.
"Do you know anyone Hector?" Joyce asked.
"Nothing!" Marriel said.
"But I, Meron!" Owen said, they were both surprised because he had been listening to them since earlier.
"What are you doing Owen, you surprised us here." Marriel seemed to be shocked by the surprise.
"Who is he?" Joysie said.
"Search the internet if Hector Miguel is the one you saw in your dreams." Owen said. Joysie immediately opened the phone and looked for it, Joysie's eyes widened.
"It's him," Joysie stammered and suddenly began to cry and faint.
