Love grows for the heart and soul who lost they're love one's. Lower the pride, higher the love. Loosen the hatred, tighten the compassion. People are blind in the word love, but heart not blind and never control by somebody else if that heart found out the reason why it is functioning.
The moment that he sees her, he can't stop not being impressed by the simple beauty that Marriel has. All this time, he was very annoyed with Marriel because he didn't even seem to know the words bath, fix, perfume, and any other words related to hygiene.
"Why don't you fix yourself! You're beautiful and then you do that, you make yourself look ugly. Is that your way of getting men to notice you?" Owen said to Marriel, she was shocked by what he said.
"You're talking about that! Because I'm half Indian, besides that, it's anti-usog with bad eyes." Marriel said. Only then did Owen fully understand why Marriel was doing this. All this time, she thought she was a female make-up artist just to get attention from men or anyone else.
"Is that so? But don't put too much eyeliner on, you'll look like a fool or crazy in the corner!" Owen said to Marriel.
"I know you're kind too, I thought you wouldn't do anything else to me other than make me look younger!" Marriel said to Owen.
When Marriel said this compliment to Owen, neither of them spoke again. They went to Yohan to say hello about the boy's condition. They were just about to enter the hospital, Marriel was seeing a lot. But he knew that Owen was not aware of this, apart from the fact that only the dark smoke and voice showed the man.
It was weird, because Marriel never experienced those things before that dark smoke appears when there are rich people with asthma. In fact, his uncle Tomas is also rich. But it was never shown a dark shadow, even though it also had a heartache.
"Weird!" Marriel's demeanor was weak as she watched Yohan.
"What's weird?" Owen exclaimed to Marriel.
"Nothing," Marriel replied sparingly to Owen.
"You're mumbling something, I heard you but isn't clear." Owen said but Marriel just shook her head and avoided looking at the man. Marriel tried to feel uncomfortable now, when this man was looking at her. All this time, he looks at her because she's so ugly and it seems like the man wants to erase her from the world because of the way he looks. But now, it's different! Marriel seems to feel that the young man is so beautiful to her that she can't take her eyes off him.
"You know I'm already lost to you!" Marriel said to Owen, because he never got tired of staring at her.
"You feel it!" Owen said, Marriel frowned because she felt that only Marriel assumed that Owen was looking at her and Marriel felt that it was a different kind of gaze.
Marriel and Owen went to the hospital together, the two knowing that they had the attention of the people there.
"Many people are looking at us, do I have dirt on my face? Do I still look crazy?" Marriel said to Owen.
"No more misses!" Owen said honestly.
Marriel felt a strange joy because of what the young man said to her. This is the first time that someone else has insulted and praised Marriel and the funny thing is that it's only one person.
Marriel is carrying the special food she made for the sick. It didn't escape Owen, after praising him the next thing he heard was insulting him.
"Maybe later, instead of getting well, what you say is my nephew, he might die because of the taste of what you feed him." He said this when they entered Yohan's ward.
"You know Mr. Jerk. If you didn't trust me, you would have done the cooking yourself so you can be sure it's clean and there's no poison in the food." Marriel said. Marriel left the man and ignored his calls to her.
"You have a bad attitude. Mr. Antipatiko!" Marriel said annoyed.

If there's a people showy on their feelings, of course there's an opposite in that attitude. We didn't notice those things especially when it hides. Let it show, and let it grow.
Owen was embarrassed when he continued to praise the woman he was with. To be honest, when Marriel removed the make-up, Owen was completely captivated. Even though they didn't know each other's names, Owen was happy because he was with the girl.
The girl still hasn't returned, in Owen's mind there is no hope that the girl will return. He was just there at the hospital with what Marriel says is Owen's niece and Yohana's daughter with her boyfriend who was not even introduced to Owen before.
Owen was just looking at the boy named Yohan, he had a lot in common with Yohana. Include Yohan as the child's name.
"If this young cousin is indeed your daughter, you two have a lot in common." Owen said while watching the boy.
At that moment, the child woke up and was crying. Owen immediately went to it.
"Dad, mom!" The child cried. Owen is helpless because he doesn't know how to explain to the child where the child's parents are, if he tells them that they are dead it might be traumatic for the child.
Sometimes, there's a white lie to protect our love once. So that they will not be hurt by the truth and the punishment of reality.
"Yohan, I'm your uncle Owen. Your mom and dad entrusted you to me. Your dad is just leaving for work, so you're here with me first!" Owen said to the boy.
"No! Where is mom? Mom, dad, where are you? Why did you leave me here alone? You promised me, didn't you? You even told me, 'leave no one behind!' Have you forgotten your promise to me?" The boy Yohan said, Owen's heart broke because of what the boy said. The two of them have a lot in common with his nephew Owen. He has parents, but he remembers the broken promises his parents made to him.
"You'll see each other," Owen said softly to the boy.
