You will realize the importance of that person when the person is gone, had an accident, or died.
Marriel feels shivers, she can't speak after watching the news. The girl could not believe what she was hearing and seeing. Marriel tried to pinch herself for a long time, the only ending bruise she got from the tightness of her pinch.
"You fool Marriel! You know what you heard is true, why do you have to hurt yourself!" Marriel cried and said to herself and felt very sad. The young woman was shocked by what happened to the man who had been with her in the strange adventure, she didn't even know from it and she will learn from the news itself that this man is not in a good condition.
"Owen Louise Burke, why is that? Why is it when I'm starting to get to know you, that's what happened to you?" Marriel whispered while watching the news.
"What? How did he become comatose? Isn't that the male cousin of the dead woman who was your client in the past?" Joysie exclaimed in shock, and stood beside Marriel.
Marriel kept quiet, because her cousin might notice the sadness she was feeling. But the girl failed to hide her sadness.
"Are you crying?" Joysie said to him while he was looking at the TV. Marriel turned to her cousin because she thought she could see him, but her attention was on the TV.
"You know, don't hold back your tears! If you want to cry, do it!" Joysie said to the girl, Marriel did not know where all Joysie's words were coming from.
"How can you say I want to cry!" Marriel said to her cousin.
"You know, cousin, when someone dies or has an accident. Crying has two meanings. It can be happiness, it can be sadness. Wasn't Owen Burke the man who bullied you when his cousin Yohana died?" Joysie asked Marriel.
"Let's not talk about it. I'm not in the mood." Marriel said to her cousin.
"Okay," Joysie answered Marriel sparingly. Marriel didn't speak again, he was quiet all day and didn't seem like he wanted to work.
He stopped watching TV and went to his room. He laid his back on the soft mattress and looked at the ceiling of his room. Marriel was thinking about the man she had just been with for a while.
"I hope," she hung in the air and closed her eyes to remember the moment she was with the young man.
"If I can get your name too early, I can pray to God to protect you!" Marriel said to the man who was just looking at him. Every expression on his face, when angry, when annoyed, when confused, when stunned, and when happy, is imprinted in his memory.
"If I can get it, you'll be safe! But now, it doesn't matter anymore. Get well dear, get well, fight for your cousin's son! You're the only one who can take care of him." Marriel said while still looking at the ceiling.
"Get well!"

It's sounds silly if you say you love her or him, just because you saw her or him happy together with other people. You're became selfish when you trying to fight for it after you've hurt her or him.
Rankin realized what he lost! He saw Owen and Marriel together. There's something in his heart that makes him irritated and hurt.
"She's mine!" He muttered while remembering the time he saw the man he hated and the woman that suffer a lot after the break up.
"I'm jealous," he muttered while looking in his photographs together with Marriel when they are good together.
"She's mine, I won't let you take her away from me. I hate you Owen!" Rankin said while his hand was closed, he was holding the glass cup and he threw it away.
"Damn you, Owen!" Rankin said and Rankin stood up and went back on his senses.
"I'll take you back!" Rankin said while observing Marriel's gentle face in the photo, this is the photo Rankin took when they graduated from senior high.
He went again in the funeral homes and he already bought flowers. Wild flower and daisy is her favorite flower. He also bought Gatorade for her. These are the drinks that she always requested to him after a make up session.
He's about to enter the funeral home when Joysie walks out and is shocked to see him.
"Rankin, what are you doing here?" Joysie said.
"I'm going to visit Marriel, is she there?" Joysie said, she heard his soft sigh.
"Is there a problem?" Rankin asked Marriel's cousin, but she hesitated whether to say it or not.
"Is there a problem? Joysie tell me!" Rankin said this but Joysie did not answer Rankin's question.
"It's hard to tell, it's much better if you just talk to Marriel. But she's not fine, so just come back tomorrow." Joysie said to Rankin.
"Joysie, who is that?" Marriel said that she had just woken up and was obviously from crying. Rankin and Joysie were looking at Marriel because her eyes were full of tears.
"Rankin?" Marriel said in shock. Marriel wiped her eyes, while Rankin approached the girl and pretended to be Marriel's only worried boyfriend. He even walked with her as if the two of them were very close.
"What's the reason you're crying?" There was anger in Rankin's voice. Marriel removed Rankin's hand that was on Marriel's.
"Excuse me, are we okay? As I know, you are the one who made me cry so much. And if there is another reason for my crying, you don't care about that anymore." Marriel said, and the girl turned her back. Rankin was left stunned and unable to believe what Marriel had said.
"Be patient Marriel, it's just like that when you just wake up. Just come back tomorrow. Be patient!" Joysie said and entered the Funeral home.
Rankin was left alone and still couldn't believe what Marriel had said.
"It's like he's changed!" Rankin said. Get in the car and drive his car fast. On the side of the Funeral home, black smoke hung with the voices of dead people.
"Loser!"
