Chapter 46 - She Wanted Seigfred that Bad

I
Shandall watched as Atty. Yhera and Seigfred walked out of the bookstore with Seigred’s arms wrapped around Atty. Yhera’s shoulders. The two were so sweet that Shandall suddenly thought how lucky Atty. Yhera could be to have a man like Mr. Seigfred Yee. He got everything that a man should have, good looks, wealth, as in so much wealth, kindness, sweetness, loyalty, and romance in his worth dying body. Shandall’s eyes narrowed. “How would it be like to be pinned down in your muscled body and be wrapped around your arms while I inhale your intoxicating scent, Seigfred Yee?” she thought further.
“Shandall would you want coffee or any drinks? I will go grab some as I need one too.” Buddy said interrupting the arousing scenes that her mind was trying to play.
She looked at Buddy and abruptly nodded. “Oh, yes please. Coffee will do Buddy. Thank you.”
“Alright. Excuse me in a while.” Buddy said as he turned his back and walked out of the bookstore.
Shandall watched Buddy’s back and she sighed. She knew what Buddy wanted from her as she could feel his intense interest towards her. Looking at Buddy, Shandall could not help to appreciate his good looks too but she wanted Seigfred more. She sighed again and shook her head. She then continued signing her books.
Buddy returned with two cups of hot coffee from an international popular coffee shop in his hands.
“Here you go Shandall. Have a break first. It is tiring to sign a thousand books, you know,” Buddy said grinning, which made Shandall laughed.
“Not a thousand, you are exaggerating Buddy. I will be signing only two hundred pieces of this new book, today.” They then both laugh afterward.
Shandall look at Buddy again and she could not deny the fact that the man is indeed handsome and with a manly appeal. But as the old saying goes, we can never dictate who our hearts should love. At the onset that she laid eyes on Seigfred lying on their beach resort’s guest room, she knew by then that he was the one for her.
“Something wrong, Shandall? You suddenly looked at me and then fell silent. Didn’t you like the handsomeness I have?” Buddy asked jokingly. He aimed to let the woman at least made a good laugh as he could see her seriousness in what she was doing.
As if awakened from her deep thoughts, Shandall suddenly looked at Buddy again and shook her head. “Oh, sorry Buddy. I just remembered something. Indeed, you are handsome Buddy and any woman can tell that.”
With such words of Shandall, Buddy’s eyes lighted up. “So, does it mean, Shandall that there is a possibility that you will like me?”
Shandall smiled. “Be patient Buddy. Right now, I can see you as a handsome and good guy. Let us put things that way first.”
Buddy nodded, smilingly. “That would be a good start, Shandall.”
Shandall looked at Buddy and smiled, mysteriously.

Seigfred and Atty. Yhera decided to go on shopping.
“Sweety, it is Mom’s birthday next month. I guess it is good to us our time now to look for a gift for her?” Atty. Yhera said, to which Seigfred agreed without any hesitation.
“Let us go. What do you want to buy for your Mom? Hmmm?”
“How about a set of jewelry?”
“That would be nice Sweety. Come, let us find that most fitted set of Jewelry for Mom Lily.” Seigfred said as he wrapped her shoulders with his arm again.
They walked sweetly until they reached an elite jewelry shop. They entered it and the salesladies greeted them. It is as if they recognized them.
“Hello Atty. Yhera, wow you are more beautiful in person,” said one of the salesladies that confirmed that indeed they recognized them.
Atty. Yhera smiled. “Thank you,” she murmured as her way of answering the woman’s compliment.
“Hey, looked at Mr. Seigfred Yee. He is so handsome. They are a perfect couple,” whispered by the other salesladies but hearable enough by Seigfred and Atty. Yhera. They both smiled at the sales ladies.
“By the way, can you please suggest a set of jewelry for a woman in her mid-fifties, who will be having her birthday next month?” It was Atty. Yhera who asked. She don’t want to stay this long inside this store where she could feel the gazes of these nosy salesladies.
“We have ma’am. If she was born in September, we will suggest their gold and sapphire set of jewelry.” The first saleslady who greeted them as they entere, picked up a box inside the display glass shelf.
Atty. Yhera got the box and was amazed to see the set of sapphire jewelry. “This is perfect. Miss, I will get this.”
The Saleslady’s eyes sparkled when she heard Atty. Yhera’s confirmation of her sale for today.
“Wow, thank you, Atty. Yhera. This will cost three hundred sixty thousand pesos, Ma’am,” the saleslady said as she happily put the jewelry inside their store’s paper bag.
“Alright. Here is my debit card.” It was Seigfred who handed his ATM card first but Atty. Yhera gently touch his hand and shook her head.
“Sweety, I will pay for it. It will be for my Mom, so I wanted that it came from my own money. Thank you for the offering.
“Alright Sweety. Then I will buy my own gift for her, and hmmm, do not stop me, okay?”
“It’s your decision, Sweety. I won’t argue.” Atty. Yhera said coyly.
They just walked out of the jewelry store’s premises when suddenly someone called from their backs.
“Yher!”
