Dave POV "You have the right to be silent! Anything you say or do will be used against you in the court of law!" One of them said. They cuffed me and took me out of the uncompleted building. I don't understand. What did I do? Did they spot me stealing from that bakery? No. That's not possible. I made sure no one was there and... My movement wasn't to be suspected right? We arrived at the police station and was pushed into a room. A man came in and sat at a table. It was just one table in available and that one table had two chairs which faced each other. The man already sat on one and I figured he wants me to seat at the other end. I walked straight to the table and sat on the chair. "Stallone! You have a call to answer!" The man, who I think is guarding the door said. "Just let that be." The supposed Stallone said. He stared at me in a way that shows he was trying to find my personality but find it difficult. "So." He said. He waited for me to speak but I didn't say anything. "Not much of a talker are you?" He said. "Depends on what you are talking about." I replied. "You seem to already know why you are here." He said. "No. I don't." I replied. "Really? Then let me refresh your memory." He said. "Sure. If it would help." I replied calmly. "What were you doing in that bakery some minutes ago?" He asked. I think my heart skipped a beat after that statement. How did they know? There was no sign of the police there. "What bakery?" I asked foolishly. What a stupid question. "Don't play dumb with me boy. You know very well what bakery I'm talking about." He said. "Oh. That bakery. Nothing really. Just passing by." I said. "So you were just passing by inside the bakery right?" He asked. "Yes." I replied. "Kent!" He yelled. A man open the door and came in. A was wearing a black suit and in his hand, a laptop. "Show him the prove." Stallone said. The man named Kent opened the laptop. He typed in some things and then turned the laptop to me. "What the hell." I said in almost a whisper. They had a video of me taking some things from the bakery and even stealing money. My mouth fell open as I watched. Kent suddenly closed the laptop and I flinched. "You remember now right?" Stallone said. I just kept quiet and calm. I couldn't care less of what happens to me next. After all, I'm the only one I have. "Speechless?" Stallone asked. "Yeah it's me. Any problem?" I said, with an I don't care attitude. "So you confess to your crime?" He asked. "Sure. Whatever." I replied. "I'm done here. Come on Kent, let's go." Stallone said. Stallone and Kent walked out of the room and soon after the police came and took me from there. Two days later... Authoress POV Dave was sentenced to five years in prison. Dave didn't care if his sentence was too long for just theft. He spent his years prison feeling nothing else but hate. The years went by and for him it was just like he spent only a few minutes. Dave got released at the age of twenty three. Dave's time in prison made his heart hardened more than anyone could think it would. He had no plan on how his revenge would happen. Every day prison just kept echoing revenge in his ears. He hungered for nothing less than revenge. How would this happen and what state his enemies are in right now, he didn't know and didn't care. Dave POV I kept hearing revenge in my ears as I walked out of the prison. This is something I must definitely have. I don't know where, I don't know how, but I will have my revenge. "Oh, look! Dave is getting released today." A prisoner said. "Ha ha ha. I can't believe he actually made it out alive." Another said. "It's been five long years he's been here. I'm sure the prison walls might have influenced him a lot." Another said. "Yeah. You are right. Just look at his face. It's just like he won't have mercy on anyone who dares cross his path." Another said. Each prisoner just kept making comments about me as I passed by every cell to the exit. Finally the door to the outside world was opened. The burning rays of sunlight hit my eyes. I've been in darkness for five years in the prison cells. This was my first experience of sunlight after five years imprisonment. My face was covered with a huge beard already. I hate it already. My handcuffs were removed and the gate was opened. I was pushed out. With my filthy body, I walked aloy the streets with nowhere to go. Sooner or later I'll get hungry again and will have to steal to survive. I walked a very long distance from the police station and I decided to get some rest. I sat on a bench nearby and relaxed my back on it. I also stretched a bit. I saw a man across the street dressed in a black suit. He looked awfully familiar from this distance. I looked lower and saw a suitcase in his hand. Who cares if the man looks familiar. There must be some goodies in that suitcase. I mean money of course. He was being followed by to huge man behind him. They must be his bodyguards. If he has bodyguards, that means he's rich and there is more likely to be money in that suitcase of his. Soon he started walking away and his bodyguards followed. I traced him to where he was going but then he entered a car. Damnit! How would I know his place?! "Follow that car." I said and pointed to the rich man's car. "No problem sir." The cab driver replied. He followed the car till it came to a stop on front a huge mansion. "Your money sir." The driver said. "Money?" I said, confused.
