Dave pov Damn it! I totally forgot about cash. I looked at the driver and thought for a while. What would be my next action now? "What money?!" I shouted. The driver looked at me in surprise and confusion. "What do you mean by that?" He asked. The driver stepped out of the car and came closer to me. "Mr Man. Repeat what you just said." The driver said. "What money are you talking about?! Did I step foot in your dumb cab?!" I asked. The driver put his keys in his pocket, grabbed my pants and took out his phone. "Look here! I don't care who you are or what your name is. All I know is that you must pay me my money." He said. "Or else what?! Huh? What will you do?!" I asked. "I knew I shouldn't have picked you up! Your mere appearance was already saying you didn't have a dime! I'm calling the police on you!" The driver said. "How dare you insult me me?!" I said. I swung my hand across his face and it smacked his cheek hard. He landed hard on the floor. He turned his face to mine sharply. "Do you have any idea who you are speaking to?! I just got released from prison, I don't have any time for shit!" I said. I advanced towards him and was about to give him the beating of his life. I jacked him up and drew my other hand backwards, ready to release it's force. "Hey!" A voice said from behind me. I dropped the driver hard on the floor and ran away. I hid behind a building and watched. I couldn't hear anything they were saying from where I was but I could see their movement. A man in black suit, who identified to be one of the rich man's bodyguards, helped the driver up. They spoke to each other for some time and the bodyguard gave the driver some money. Probably the payment for driving me here. The driver went back into his car and drove off. The bodyguard seemed to be making a call. Maybe with one of those earphones stuff. He then looked left and right before going back inside. Good that I got away. But wait... How do I get back to that uncompleted building I stayed in with Oliver? I don't even know the way there. So... That means I have to stay here? Well, what choice do I have? At least I'll be close to the rich man's home. It will be easier for me to rob him that way. I walked around the neighborhood in search of a place to stay. Not exactly a place of my own. Just an abandoned building will do. I kept looking to my left and right as I walked along the road. It took a long time but I finally found one. This neighborhood is really neat. There is hardly any abandoned building at all. I entered the building I found and took a look around. It's a big building so it made a perfect place for me to stay. Big buildings make perfect hiding places. Since, of course, there are many rooms. The floor was already cemented. This probably means that the building won't be empty for long. I need some food now. I left the uncompleted building and went in search of food. Something to steal, since I don't have any money. I kept searching and searching but to no avail. Where did all the shops that are supposed to be selling food? What's up with this place anyways? I walked back towards the uncompleted building. I reached, feeling extremely tired and hungry. I sat on the floor thinking of what action to take next. I'm so dead hungry! What sort of a place is this?! What am I supposed to eat now?! Well, since I can't find a shop to rob I'll have to rob the people here. Yes, that's what I'll do. I came out of the uncompleted building again and looked for a small sized house to rob. I'll have to use whatever I can find in their homes since I don't really have any weapons with me. A knife might just do the trick. I spotted a house and went straight to thirty porch. I knocked and a little girl opened the door. The girl looked at me from toes to head. I grinned at her and I think that her mouth fell open out of fear. A woman came from behind and shifted the little girl aside. "Sorry sir. My daughter wasn't even supposed to open the door. She can behave like this somet..." Her voice trailed off as her eyes landed on me. "Oh my... What a peculiar appearance. You indeed have a different sense of style." She said. My clothes were actually worn out and filthy and I hadn't taken a bath in more than five years. You can imagine the kind of stink coming out of me. "Come right in." The woman said "Oh. Thank you madam." I said. I walked into their home. It was beautifully decorated and most of their things were white in colour. The little girl sat on one of the white sofas and so did the mother. "Have a seat." The woman said. I bent to sit down but I was stopped by a voice. "Hold it right there son!" The voice said. I stopped as I was and then stood straight again. It was a man, I believe is the woman's husband. "Who the hell are you?!" He asked. "And where did you come from?!" He asked. "Come on honey. Cut the poor guy some slack." The woman said. "Cut him some slack? You want me to cut him some slack?! Need I remind you that I'm in charge around here?!" The man said. "You don't need to. I already know that." The woman replied. "Then why do you keep letting strangers into this house? I mean, just look at this one. He looks like he doesn't know what a shower is." The man said. "Harold!" The woman shouted.
