Second favorite spot

“So where is this favorite spot?" Rose asked as Aiden drove. Aiden glanced briefly at her with a smile.
“Patience. When we get there, you'll find out," He told her.
“If this is a chocolate place, I hope they serve white chocolate because if they don't, then this favorite spot shouldn't be a favorite spot" Aiden glanced at her briefly again but this time with disbelief.
“Wait, are you trying to say white chocolate is better than normal chocolate?"
“Yep" Aiden snorted.
“You wish, white chocolate is just like a sad imitation of a normal chocolate, it shouldn't even be called chocolate" Rose gasped.
“If you are going to bad-mouth my favorite chocolate then you might as well let me down from this car" She said half jokingly. Aiden chuckled.
“Luckily for both of us, it's not a chocolate place"
“That's nice to hear. So.... Are you going to tell me where it is?"
“Nope"
“THE BEACH!?" Rose asked in disbelief and confusion.
“Yeah, but not exactly" She got even more confused by his answer.
“Huh?" He smiled mischievously at her. She narrowed her eyes on him.
“Don't smile at me like that" He chuckled.
“Follow me" He outstretched his hand. She stared at it with suspicion.
“Where are you taking me?"
“Don't worry about it. Do you trust me?" He asked intently. She nodded.
“Yes" He smiled brightly at her.
“Take my my then" And she did.
“Aiden, I don't think this is a good idea" Aiden looked at her in confusion.
“Why?"
“Oh I don't know, maybe it's because it says DO NOT TRESPASS" She pointed at the sign in front of them. Aiden waved it off.
“It doesn't matter besides no one is here anyways. Live a little" Rose shook her head.
“I've lived enough and besides it seems wrong. See, the gate is locked" She tried to convince him. Aiden moved towards the gate and easily picked the lock. Rose looked at him in shock.
“Something tells me you have been here numerous times"
“Yeah, that's why it's one of my favorite spots. Come on, let's climb up" He walked past the gate and up the stairs. Rose groaned before walking behind him.

“Wow! The view up here is so nice" Rose exclaimed as she looked at the view. They stood at a high tower-like place that overlooked the whole beach.
“This is beautiful, I didn't know the beach was this clear. Look, a dolphin!" She excitedly tapped Aiden so he could look at it. He smiled at her.
“Ow!" He playfully yelled.
“I didn't even tap you that hard," She retorted.
“Then how come it hurts?"
“Because you're a wimp," Aiden gasped playfully.
“This is what I get for showing you my second favorite spot? Me? A wimp?" Rose gave him a smug look. Aiden scoffed.
“Okay then", He picked her up and carried her bridal style.
“What do you think you are doing?" She yelled.
“Am I a wimp?" She nodded. He moved over to the edge and threatened to drop her.
“Haa!! I'm sorry, you're not a wimp. Put me down" She screamed. He smiled and let her down. She shot him a glare.
“Is this why you brought me here? To murder me? Or give me a heart attack?" He shook his head.
“I brought you here for this" She looked at him in confusion.
“Wha..." His soft lips pressed against hers cutting her off. He bit her lower lip and she gasped, granting him access into her mouth. She could feel the heat spread all over her body as he deepened the kiss. He finally released her lips then rested his forehead on hers.
“Be my girlfriend" She glanced up at him.
“Be my girlfriend" He said again. Her face broke into a smile.
“I thought you would never ask," She murmured. His face lit up as it broke into a dimpled smile. She smiled back at him and then turned towards the beach. Her eyes widened suddenly.
“Erm.. Aiden... There's a huge wave coming towards us, let's get out of here now" She grabbed his hand and was about to drag him away but he just pulled her back into his embrace.
“Stay, it's part of the experience today" He whispered in her ear.
“What are you..." Before she could complete her sentence, the cold water splashed on their bodies, wetting them from head to toe. Aiden let go of her and stared at her reaction. She glared hard at him.
“What the he..." Aiden's laughter halted her mid words. She had never really seen him laugh so hard before. She didn't even notice she was laughing along with him.

“Here, take these" Aiden handed Rose a towel and three hotdogs he went to bring from the car.
“Thank you" She took them from his hand and wrapped the towel around her body.
“Hmm, the hotdog is warm" She told him as he sat down next to her.
“Yeah, there's a guy selling them on the beach. Since I promised you lunch, I bought some for you" She smiled at him.
“What about you? Do you want a bite? It's too much for me" He shook his head.
“I already ate like three before getting up here, I'm full. Enjoy yourself"
“Three all at once?"
“I'm a guy, that's how we eat" He pointed out. She shrugged and carried on eating her hotdog. They both sat there in silence for a while.
“So, what do we do now?" Rose asked as she finished her last hotdog.
“Hey, what are you kids doing up here?" A man's voice sounded behind them. Aiden grabbed Rose's hand.
“Run!" They ran as fast as they could which was that fast because they kept laughing but luckily for them, the man was slower. Rose had never felt so alive, she didn't want the day to end.
