Ex girlfriend

“Where's Aiden?" Rose questioned as soon as she saw he wasn't at the dining table. Emily smiled at her and Liam as they walked down the stairs.
“Sit down dear. Aiden went to the company to see what he has to do and how" Emily informed her. Rose's shoulders sagged.
“Oh" She muttered as she sat down.
“Dont worry, he will pick you guys up from school. Speaking of school, I'm going to talk to the principal regarding Liam so he can start school tomorrow" Liam Stood up excitedly.
“Really?" Andrea giggled.
“I've never seen anyone so excited to attend school" Liam shrugged.
“I miss hanging out with friends" He said simply. Andrea nodded.
“Fair enough" She stood up from her seat “Eat up, Rose, Steven will drop us at school" Rose kissed Liam on the head before sluggishly standing up.
“Since where were you and Steven this close?" Emily asked with suspicion. Andrea eyes widened.
“Well, you see... Erm.... Aiden told him to pick us up because he didn't want Rose riding the school bus" Andrea quickly came up with a story and Emily believed.
“Alright, bye" Andrea quickly grabbed Rose's hand and led her out of the house. Steven had arrived and was waiting for them. He smiled at Andrea when he saw her coming, he was about to hug her but she stopped him.
“My mother might see us" She mouthed. He nodded then opened the door for them.
Rose sighed as she watched Steven and Andrea bicker back and forth. She thought of calling Aiden and telling him how much she missed him but she didn't want to disturb him and come off as clingy.
“Rose? Are you going to be okay without Aiden today?" Andrea asked when she saw the gloomy look on Rose's face as she glanced at her through the front view mirror. Rose nodded.
“Yes, don't worry about me" She turned her attention to the passing trees.

“So we will soon be seniors. I can't wait to leave this school" Claire muttered as she walked with Andrea and Rose. Andrea sighed as she turned towards them.
“What do you guys think I should do? I don't want to leave Steven but I don't want to attend the college he wants because it's going to be filled with basketballers and ughh... It just isn't for me and on the other hand, my dream has always been to attend modelling college and I don't know if I'm ready to throw away that dream for a relationship with no definite future" Andrea voiced out. Rose stared at her.
“Why don't you do what your heart tells you to?" Rose suggested.
“My heart is telling me to choose my dreams but I don't want a long distance relationship. I wouldn't be comfortable knowing he's in a school full with girls who just want to go there for boys and all" Rose sighed. She could understand Andrea's point. She didn't want a long distance relationship with Aiden too, she didn't even want to think about it.
“Are you going to do what's best for you or what's best for your relationship?" Claire questioned. Rose thought to herself for a second. What would she choose?
As soon as the closing bell rang, Rose quickly packed her things and ran out of the classroom.
“Hey, wait up Rose"Andrea yelled from behind her but Rose didn't stop. She ran towards the parking space Aiden always parked at and was happy to see his handsome self, leaning on his car with his eyes fixed on her like he knew she was coming. He smiled as he opened up his arms for her, Rose ran straight into it and snuggled his chest.
“I missed you so much, Aiden" She murmured. Aiden caressed her head.
“I missed you more baby" She raised up her head to stare into his eyes.
“Are you going to pick us up everyday?" Aiden pinched her cheeks.
“If that's what you want" She smiled cheekily at him.
“Of course that's what I want" She stood on her toes and pecked his lips. Aiden was a little taken aback by her display of PDA but he wasn't complaining.
“Ughhhh... Let's go already" Andrea muttered from behind them as she walked towards the car. Aiden chuckled while Rose giggled before they climbed into the car.
Rose laid half of her body on Aiden as they both laid on his bed, enjoying each other's company.
“How was your company tour?" She asked after a while. Aiden sighed.
“I've never been there before so I didn't expect it to be that big" Rose raised her head to glance at him.
“You've never been there? Why?"
“After the divorce, we all kind of cut ties with my father" He informed her. She nodded and rested her head back on his chest. Her eyes caught sight of a photo resting in his cupboard.
Aiden?" He hummed in response “I've been meaning to ask, who's that girl smiling with you on that photo?" She pointed at the photo, Aiden turned to glance at what she was pointing at. His body tensed up when he saw it.
“It's my ex girlfriend" Rose abruptly raised her head from his chest.
“What?" Aiden quickly sat up.
“It's nothing baby, we have broken up a long time ago" He assured her but that just made Rose frown.
“Then why do you still have the photo with you? In your closet?"
“I remember throwing it out I swear, my Mum must have put it back" Rose glared at him.
“That's a flimsy excuse, Aiden" She stood up from the bed and was about to walk out of the room when Aiden grabbed her hand.
“Okay, I left it there because she's still my friend even though we had broken up" Rose shook her head.
“Still your friend? That means you guys still meet up?" Aiden opened his mouth but nothing came out. Rose scoffed as she yanked her hands out of his grip and left the room.
