Chapter 46: A gun pointed to his head.

Sebastian ran into the company in rage. One of his workers had called him and informed him that he saw Owen harassing Stephanie.
He almost got to the meeting location, but he was too vexed to keep going, so he turned back and ran back to the company to rescue his lover.
“Mr. Sebastian, Miss Stephanie is in the office now. Mr. Owen left already,” The worker that had called him, informed him when he saw him storming to the corridor that the incident happened.
“Why did you let him go, hun?” Sebastian barked, and everyone around stared at them.
“I couldn’t stop him. I didn’t want to offend a new client, Mr. Sebastian. I’m sorry,” The worker pleaded and bowed.
Sebastian clenched his jaw in rage and stormed out of the worker’s face. He headed to his office.
He stormed into the office and met Stephanie sitting on the couch. She flinched at the sudden opening of the door, and she raised her head from her legs to see who it was.
“Sebastian,” She mumbled, and he ran to meet her. He pulled her in and embraced her tightly.
“I’m sorry for leaving you to deal with him alone.” He brushed her hair as he spoke, and she shook her head.
“It’s not your fault. You had something very important to attend to.”
“But you are important to me too. What did he do to you? I headed back immediately when one of the workers called me.”
He disengaged from the hug and looked at her face. He could see dried up tears on her cheeks.
“What did he do? Tell me. Did he hurt you? I’ll kill him, I swear.” He clenched his jaw as he spoke.
“He didn’t hurt me. He just tried to kiss me, but I didn’t let him. He has learnt his lesson, you don’t have to go to him for anything.”
“No! You can’t tell me to just keep shut when he has done such a horrible thing to my fiancée! I won’t accept that. He is going to regret this. Even if it means losing him as a client. I don’t care!” He smacked angrily.
“Fiancée?” She raised her head to look at him.
This was the only word that caught Stephanie’s attention the most. She thought she misheard.
“Yes! You are more than a girlfriend, and I’ll show him that.”
He walked to his desk and picked up his cellphone. Stephanie heaved a sigh and stood up.
“Just let him be. He won’t come close to me again.”
“I’ll make sure he doesn’t. He won’t step foot into this company again.”
Sebastian placed his phone on his ear. He was waiting for his friend who happened to be a policeman to pick up. He was going to get Owen arrested for Sexual Assault.
Just while his friend’s phone was ringing, Stephanie’s phone began to ring too. Sebastian looked at her as she reached into her bag for her phone.
When she saw the caller, she looked at Sebastian anxiously.
“He is the one, right?” Sebastian walked back to her, and she slowly bounced her head. Before she could say or do anything, he grabbed the phone from her and answered the phone.
“Bastard! What do you want?!” Sebastian yelled, and Stephanie jumped in fright again. She had never seen him so pissed since they knew each other.
“Please, give the phone to Stephanie. I want to apologize to her. I don’t know what came over me. I’m so sorry, Stephanie.”
Owen sounded very remorseful when talking, but Sebastian was too pissed to notice that. All he wanted to do was teach him a lesson he will never forget.
“You have no right to talk to my woman anymore! Stay away from her and my company.”
“We just signed a contract. You can’t get rid of me easily, Sebastian. I know your company needs this support. Just give Stephanie the phone and let me talk to her.”
Owen’s remorseful voice changed to a very cold one which made Sebastian even madder.
“A contract can be bridged, and I’ll do just that. We don’t need a criminal like you anywhere near this company. You are going to pay for what you did to her! I bet my life on it.”
“Why don’t you come to me and let’s talk this out as men should. You don’t have to rant over the phone.”
“Is that what you want? Tell me where you are, and I’ll meet you there in a few minutes.” Sebastian’s face turned red because of the frown he had on.
“Sebastian! What are you doing?” Stephanie asked in surprise. She suspected their discussion was beginning to go south.
“You have my address with you, don’t you? I’m at home. If you are so brave, you’ll come alone.”
Owen hung up before Sebastian could respond, and Sebastian grabbed his hair in anger.
“Asshole!” He yelled. Stephanie stood up and moved closer to go.
“What were you two talking about? Where are you going, Sebastian?” She asked.
He said no words and walked back to his desk to look for his car keys. After some seconds, he then remembered he didn’t remove the keys from his pocket in the first place.
“Talk to me, Sebastian! Where are you going?” Stephanie asked again.
“To his house, okay? To get him arrested. He has messed with you twice, and he is proud of it. Trust me, I won’t let him do it the third time, and you can’t stop me, Stephanie. I’ll be back soon.”
“Sebastian, you don’t need this, please. I swear, I’m fine,” Stephanie held his hand, and he shook his head.
“I know you’ll be fine. But, let me do this for you.” He moved her hand away from his and headed to the door.
He opened the door and before he could step out, a gun was pointed to his head. He abruptly stopped and his heart stopped beating.
Stephenie’s eyes widened as she saw Owen forced Sebastian back into the office with the gun in his hand.
“Owen!” She called.
“I made things easier for you. You don’t have to come to my house, because I was never there. I’m here. Let’s do the talking here,” Owen uttered, hastily moving his finger to the trigger.
