Chapter 33 How it started.
"Him! How did he manage to take out the...." king Herman halted at the sight of what was in view. Jade's body was emitting a menacing vibe and aura. "Is he okay?"
"Jade, you need to calm down, killing them won't solve anything." Rhen said, holding on to Jade's hand.
The groggs were slowly moving backwards. Jade took a deep breath and fell to his knees again as he started sobbing.
'Meen! I don't remember them being in any special relationship. Why is he being this emotional?' Mark thought, tapping Jade's shoulder calmly.
"So what's going to happen to those guys?" Joe asked, gesturing at the groggs.
"Let's hold them as prisoners." King Slaran suggested.
"If you have time keeping prisoners maybe you should be rebuilding the village." Jade said, standing up. "I'm taking them to another planet."
"What! Can a guardian do such?" Mark exclaimed.
"I told you I had dreams about the previous kings. Well I also had some about the guardians to." Jade replied, giving a faint smile.
"Oh! you mean revelations?" Rhen corrected with a smile.
"Do what you want, we need to get the soldiers' bodies back before it rots." Mrs Lillian said, opening up a teleporter.
Jade went to the groggs and made something like a large crystal trapping them in it. The crystal started turning into dust.
"Wait, is that it?!" Mrs Lillian asked, looking surprised.
"Yeah, whatever planet they appear on will be their new home, not that they have long to live." Jade said in a dramatic way.
"Alright get to work." Mrs Lillian said, entering into the teleporter.
"Oh boy!" Rhen exclaimed, following after her and so did the others.
"Jeez! Seriously, no exceptions for me! Grr!" Jade said and went in.
The dead bodies were all retrieved and the three villages returned to their various resident for the injured soldiers to get treated.
Later on, the burials and mourning of the dead were all done and the reconstruction of the village started.
Finally, everything was back to normal and the pillars of Takeki were having a meeting with Jade and his squad along with Avon. Also Saz was present.
They were at the palace, sitting as usual but this time Jade and Saz were also giving seats while the rest lined up at one side.
"Now that everything is over what do you plan on doing?" The king asked.
"We'll return to Visgard and do our best to rebuild it." Avon replied.
"As for us, we've decided to check for any remainings in the east" Jade said.
"What about the president? He was involved in all this too." Casey asked.
"Sure but still we need proof." Jade replied.
"Your majesty, mind if I give a suggestion?" Mark asked.
"Go on."
"Can we have a party? The village haven't really celebrated anything since the whole situation of, you know.... Fighting, killing and destroying." Mark said, looking at the others for backup.
"Yeah that's right, we need to celebrate this great victory." Saz included.
"Sounds fun to me." Casey also included
.....
....
"Alright, alright, let's have a party!" The king shouted and they all rejoiced.
"Hmn, youth and their parties." James stood up to leave.
'I guess this year recruits were bad ass teenagers.' captain Drek thought.
The evening of the same day lightings filled the village and instruments were being played. The villagers rejoiced.
Mark and Jade were having a talk at one part of the king's castle.
"Do you think he's going to find out? I mean Saz." Jade asked.
"About his father? Not really. He was at the castle through out. Besides he won't have any revelation." Mark replied.
"What do you mean?"
"How will he tell how strong his father was since he didn't watch the fight and also doesn't have any revelation about the previous kings? He'd just think he was as strong since he trained very well." Mark explained.
"Hoho! Damn right." Jade said.
"So you are really going to let him have the title, right?" Mark asked.
"Sure."
"Alright."
"Can I ask you something?" Jade asked.
"Sure."
"Why do you guys keep calling me a chicken?"
"What! Isn't it obvious? You have a red faux hawk haircut, it makes you look like a chicken." Mark replied laughing out loud. "Come to think of it, no one ever read meaning to those three blue stripes. We thought it was a dye of some sort."
"Looks like you guys are having fun, mind if I join in?" Rhen asked, walking towards them with three mocktail on a tray.
"Rhen! Enjoying the party?" Jade asked, picking up one glass of mocktail.
"It's... amazing!" Rhen replied. "Why don't you come join the others, they are really having fun with Saz."
"If you say so." Mark replied, pulling Jade along with him.
The party went on through out the night till the next day.
A week passed and Jade squad along with Avon and the rest of the visgardian travelled back to Visgard.
On getting there they were welcomed by the rest that were previously in hidings.
Surprisingly, they've all started rebuilding the city from scratch.
"Guys!" Peter called out from a room and the group came in. "Guess what, it's Parcilio Luke!"
"Wow!"
"Seriously!"
"Really!"
"You know my name? That's.... how did you know my name? Not many do." Mr Luke, an old man, sitting on a mat in the room asked. "Unless you are the ones who freed the south from those beasts."
"Bingo!" Jade said, flicking his finger.
"Unbelievable!" Mr Luke exclaimed.
"Wait, what about the groggs at the south castle?" Casey asked In shock.
"Don't worry about it, I had my men finish them up." Mr Luke replied.
"(Exhaled sharply) That reminds me what about your brother, the vice president?" Jade asked.
"Since my brother sided with the groggs we've not seen each other."
"So he really sided with the groggs?" Mark commented.
"Actually they coerced him into doing so." Mr Luke replied.
"What do you mean?" Jade asked and they all sat down to listen.
"Two weeks after the groggs landed their ship on the central market a grogg in white overall went to his house and abducted his son and his wife.
To him they were all he had so he said he would do anything they asked if the grogg could spare them.
The grogg demanded that he wanted a sample of the ability user in exchange for his son and an ability drug for both his wife and son.
Mathew, my brother felt hopeless, he couldn't think of a way to accomplish such but he promised the grogg that he would find a way.
At the time the castle at the East was still under construction. He came to me, asking for help. Not having the solution he sought he decided to work with them.
He visited one of Visgard's best scientist, Dr Bryan for help.
So I planted a spy in his mansion at the north island who was feeding me with information.
After seven years the scientist reported a fire outbreak in the lab, he had to start over again.
Shockingly to my brother, the same grogg came, saying he had acquired a sample by himself. He said he was going to kill the president's family.
The vice president couldn't get himself, after all the attacks they made towards the groggs were to no avail. He then promise to provide a different ability sample.
The grogg agreed and left. My brother did as promised, he gave them a Manekian to use. The grogg returned his son who was only days away from his death and killed his wife.
My brother couldn't care less about the world, he became a living corpse." Mr Luke explained.
"That explains why he remained idle all this time." Casey said.
"But still he did betray humans." Mark stated.
"What about the president? Why didn't the grogg go for him?" Jade asked. "He also didn't act on the war."
"The president was only in charge of political matters, he was the one sending out the soldiers to fight while my brother was in charge of the construction and science matters." Mr Luke replied.
"One more question, where is the president and vice president?" Jade asked.
