A man wearing a bird mask turns right into the tight alleyways; he then proceeds to move along the road when he reaches outside and blends with the crowds. He already noticed from the very start that they'd been followed by several men since they stopped loitering at the park. These men are quite good at tailing him; even though he already blends in with the crowd and uses every alleyway he finds, they still keep on following him. "This will be hard for you; they know this place far better than us," the lady in white said, keeping track of the men behind them. After turning to the last alleyway he found and getting cornered, he turned around and faced them in an arrogant manner, as if he knew who they were and why they were following him. After all, he just wants this shit to end quickly before someone gets hurt. The man in the hood does not step out of the shadows of his hoodie or make any sudden movements, and the others just watch his every move and prepare themselves. Screw scratched his mask and then asked, "Why do you people keep on following me?" The man in the hood replied, "We're here to ask something; we want to ask you first to follow us." Screw didn't agree, saying, "I don't want to." He flatly rejected the man's invitation. "You can't reject us." "And why is that?" he asks in a mocking voice. The other men who were hiding from the shadow appeared one by one; they all drew their swords and readied themselves to take action once the man in front gave them a signal. "Heeeh~" he smiled behind his mask. He felt he could once again become an action star. "Once more, I can be like Cardo Dalisay or Steven Seagal, but I need a proper mind-blowing dialogue for this kind of situation." "We don't know what you were talking about, but we need your answer now." He put both of his hands together, and he looked at them with malevolent eyes, even though he was wearing a mask. The men got confused when they felt that the person in front of them had changed a little bit in his demeanor. He looked at them and started talking in a nonsense way when the spirit of Steven Seagal manifested: "For a while, I had this uncontrollable urge—this addiction to danger. Now I look back, and I think, 'Gee, what an idiot. I was risking my life just for the sensation of it.'" He then looked behind him, imitated his hand holding a gun, and tried to shoot these strangers in a Steven Seagal manner, 'killing without looking'. [Activating Skill] [Magic Bullet] A magical bullet was formed at the tip of his finger and shot randomly towards the unsuspecting victim. The magical bullet penetrates the lucky stranger's chest, and he convulses before dropping dead. Then silence entered the fray. "What the fuck?" The lady in white suddenly exclaimed. She couldn't believe that he had murdered someone. "What the flock?" He said while looking at the dead body. He couldn't believe that he had killed someone, and this gives him a moral lesson: "Don't imitate Steven Seagal unless you need to." As soon as they saw their friends had been killed, the other men hurried in his direction with the intention of slaughter. They were just told to find him, extract his secrets, and use force and torture if necessary to compel him to comply. In contrast, they made the snap decision to use force and torture him as a result of one of them being killed suddenly. He was already prepared and in a fighting position when he accidentally shot down one of his stalkers. In a split second, a guy appeared behind him and tried to use the hilt of his sword to knock him off, but before he could do that, he turned around, lifted his left arm to guard his head, and blocked his opponent's right arm so the hilt wouldn't reach him. He then used his right elbow to strike at his opponent's jaw, knocking him down in an instant. A hard crack of a broken neck was heard through the entire area. He exhaled a mouthful of heavy air and exclaimed, "Sok Klap! Woooh waah wachao wachao!" With that maneuver, the commander deduced that their target was skilled not just in magic but also in close combat and fighting without weapons. The others didn't stop, even though they saw how he had already taken down two of them. They decided to abandon their mission and strike him with the intent to kill. They ganged him up and prepared their swords; this is when he started to speak again and said "Watch and do your best to comprehend everything". Everyone though that he was talking to their leader because he was looking at him directly; they didn't know that he was talking to the lady in white besides their leader. "The first lesson is to always think that the person in front of you is a skilled attacker, no matter what he holds. The best thing is to run." They thought that he was going to run when he said it, but he didn't; instead, he pulled out a knife. "But in this kind of situation where you can't run, find any kind of object you can hold and use it to defend." He held his knife tightly and went into a defensive stance. "Come!" He shouted, and his assaulters attacked him one by one using their swords. "You can't win if your enemy has a far greater reach than you; an example is those swords," he said as he was slashed sideways by one of his opponents. He dodged it with a single strand of hair. "Luckily, these guys are not skilled, so I can take them by only using a knife." He closes the distance and repeatedly stabs his opponent's side until it loses its strength, then uses his knife to slash its throat. "Three remain," he said, mocking his opponents. His attackers get angry, and both of them attack him simultaneously. "Don't ever close your eyes; never blink! "and he dodged their attacks easily and without a hitch. "Focus on your enemy, not the weapon; read their eyes, especially their muscles." He dodged another strike and used that attack to slip beside that sword and run toward his opponent. He then slashed its throat. The second enemy got scared; he knew that he couldn't win, so he decided to run. "Third lesson: don't ever turn your back on your enemy; this means that you're inviting him to kill you from behind." He then threw his knife and hit the back head of his enemy, dropping dead. "See? Now let's go for actual combat." He then threw a small rock at the last man standing in front of him. The man didn't dodge or get angry; instead, he clasped his hands. "Thank you for your guidance; I'll take it to heart," the man said while he removed his hood. His face has a lot of battle scars and intimidating eyes. The lady warned him, "Mr. Screw, be careful." He only waved his hand for her not to worry. "The last one was a veteran; watch carefully." The man dropped his weapon suddenly, saying, "I don't need this weapon out of respect for you." He clasped his hands and bowed a little to pay respect again. Screw looks at him meticulously; he knows this will be a good lesson for the lady over there. After paying respect, he suddenly dashed towards him and sent him multiple punches that he easily avoided. He also did the same by sending multiple stabs and slashes that the man also easily defended. When he lowered his arm to stab and targeted the man's lower abdomen, the assailant used his right hand to hold his arm and stop his attack. Unfortunately, that kind of hold didn't stop his arm; by twisting his wrist a little and using the blade, he slashed the man's arm, and the assailant reacted by releasing his grip. Screw continued his attack by stabbing the man again, but the man countered it by slapping his arm away from him and sending a heavy punch to his face. The enemy thought he got out of balance when he slapped his arm to avoid his knife, but he dodged the man's fist and counterattacked it by punching the man's neck side. When it successfully connected, Screw withdrew his left arm and used his right to stab the man's abdomen once again. Enduring the pain in his neck and finding it harder for him to breathe, he used both his hands to grab his hand and arm. Screw suddenly moved sideways and started to attack its eyes. The man didn't have a choice but to move his head and release one of his hands to counterattack. While the man dodged his attack, the assailant successfully connected his fist to his chest, but Screw didn't even flinch; instead, he used this chance to twist his wrist, giving him another wound. Both of them step back after this exchange. "You're really good." The man already has multiple wounds, while Screw looks like he's having fun. "Have you watched it closely?" He asked. The man was confused right now. "Who're you talking to? " "Your fight and how you handled the knife were so amazing!" The lady in white cheered, and it seems she's on the edge of her seat while watching these two veterans fight. He looked at his opponent and said, "Now don't forget that this is a fantasy world." Once again, when he got closer, he tried to slash the man's face, and his assailant reacted by using his palm to hit his wrist away and use it to counterattack. The man breathed a heavy breath and started circulating energy to his right fist, and once finished, he used his full force to break his chest, go flying, and then hit the wall. The lady in white screamed, "Mr. Screw!" She tried to run towards him but stopped when she saw him stand up and look like nothing happened. The man was astonished and laughed when he saw that his attack didn't do any damage to him. "I know that skill; that's "Chi attack," right?" He deliberately said, "But you didn't get me in one punch. That's bad." He raised and opened both of his hands for him to see that he wasn't holding his knife. The man got confused: 'Is he surrendering? Why?' he asked himself, but after several seconds, he felt an intense pain in his right shoulder. He couldn't expect that his knife would stab him, but the worse is that there's a purple hue of smoke, and his right arm turned purple. "Poison?" Screw laugh, "hahahaha bingo! And that's not just ordinary poison." He suddenly sits down and asks him to sit with him. "Come here, let's talk for awhile; you're going to die within three minutes anyway." The man rejected his offer, saying, "You use the force when I slap your wrist upward to hide your hand in your back and transfer your knife to your left hand." "Bingo." Both of them laugh and complement each other. "Thanks for using your "Chi attack; the poison spread much faster." "May I ask how you stabbed me without my knowing?" The man politely asked. "That's easy; while using Chi, you'll get a temporary buff called "Iron Clad," am I right?" "Yes, no one could penetrate my body while the "Iron Clad" was active." "Before you used your "Chi attack" and got your "Iron Clad" active, I already stabbed your arm; that means I'm much faster than you, so fast that you wouldn't know that you got stabbed by a knife and didn't feel any pain at all." He added, "The poison spreads faster when your muscles contract and the energy flows towards your fist." After listening, the man was satisfied with his explanation. "You have two options: first, die from my poison or commit suicide. I know you're hiding a poison pellet between your teeth." "I'd rather die in your poison than commit a cowardly suicide." "Then good, will you tell me the reason why a member of the adventurer guild is targeting me?" "I won't tell." "That's alright." And after three minutes, the man died because of the poison. Screw looked at the system prompt and said thank you. [Spirit skill: Spirit of the Black Bear] [Spirit skill: Tortoise spirit] [Spirit skill: Common Death Adder] [No problem] "Are you still alright, Mr. Screw? Can you still walk?" The lady in white worriedly asked. "I won't die easily. Anyway, have you watched closely?" "Both of you are way too fast; I'm not good at reading your movements." "You don't need to worry; you'll remember it somehow when you get out." He remained still for a moment before getting up and starting to walk toward the corpses and steal some money. After that, he walked outside the alleyway and proceeded to buy their food for dinner.
