Beaten up

Gura was sitting at the top of a tree, caressing the crow that perched on her hand. She smiled softly, looking up at the sky above. The sun was dipping into the horizon, casting a golden color upon the ground and trees as it set for the night.
The sound of rushing footsteps interrupted her peace. As she turned her head, she saw a man wearing chain mail and holding a sword dashing from the distance. "Monster attack!" Everybody heard his scream, and all of them readied their weapons. They all move outside their tent and approach the monsters who are attacking.
It was a devil in human skin, and its body was glowing red. It appears that the one who gave them instructions turned into a nasty freak.
The freak looked up at them, but before he could say anything, he had been blasted into pieces by Osso. Everyone looks at the remains of the monster before they turn around and face him again. "Is everybody okay?" Gillis asks the man with concern, who holds his knees while panting.
There was no answer from those gathered outside, and the only thing that could be heard was the beating of their hearts and their breathing. The four of them were shocked and confused. The person who spoke first, however, seemed to know what the hell was going on. He took a step forward, his face grimaced. "Four... All of them are dead."
"Hahaha," Gillis says with nervous laughter, "that's impossible; all of us are experts." Gillis looks at the remaining members of his mercenary; there are a total of nine representatives, and all of them are handpicked professionals. Hearing that four of his members and the instructor actually died instantly is seriously unbelievable.
Osso, on the other hand, walks behind the man and uses his left arm to swing a heavy punch to his nape. This caused the man to get knocked down, and a blade appeared between his neck and got slashed. The man's eyes widened from shock while his head flew to the other side. Upon witnessing the fellow's death, Gillis prepared his weapon and pointed to Osso and Christina.
"What is the meaning of this?" Gillis glared at Osso and Christina as he prepared himself for the sudden attack. Osso spit and moved his eyes to point at the person on the ground, saying, "See for yourself." The man turns into a bloody wreck, an ooze of red and green liquid gushing out from its body with a sickening wet splat. Gillis took a step back as he felt bile rising to the back of his throat.
A small voice suddenly heard and asked, "What's happening...?" He turned and peeked over his shoulder to see a white-haired girl wearing a hood, wolf-ear headband, and black scarf standing and staring at him. When she didn't get a reply, she added the comment, "This happens when you muddle with the wrong people."
"What?!" He has no idea what's really happening; he was in his tent having a nap when he heard a scream and rushed out with his weapon, ready to fight. But when he arrived, the monster was defeated and one of his members was killed, and it turns out that the monster is one of his members.
He can't believe seven of his mercenaries were instantly down to two without his knowledge. Christina was skeptical and threw her blade at Gura. In the very beginning, she didn't trust this little girl, and she's skeptical why their leader invited her to join.
Gura didn't dodge; instead, she used her two fingers to catch the blade. Upon witnessing what she did, Osso whistled, and his interest in Gura got intense. 'I want to fight this little devil,' Osso says in his mind. "Did you plan this?" Christina asks. Gura only looks at her. "I didn't, but as far as I see, you guys planned to die here." Christina's forehead creased while reaching for another blade.
"What'd you mean?" Gillis gritted his teeth while he gripped his sword tightly. "Just answer my question, and I will kill you depending on your answer." He prepared his weapon as his eyes focused on Gura.
'The hell?' Gura tilted her head. She's perplexed as to why she's been accused of plotting something. As a matter of fact, when she saw the man and the monster running and entering the encampment, she immediately moved, searched the other members, and killed those who got infected.
She rushed toward the camp and appeared before the surviving members, and that's the current scene she's in today. The living members thought she planned everything from the very start. "What do you mean we plan to die here?" Christina prepared her second blade and was ready to attack Gura.
"You all are surrounded," Gura answered. Hearing this, the group now understands their position. The three of them realize that this little girl in front of them has already planned it for a very long time, and this is the point to execute the method and annihilate all of them.
Osso scans his surroundings and catches a glimpse of some monsters. "I didn't know you were capable of doing that." Gillis readied himself. "Me neither; I didn't think she was intelligent." Christina looked at Gura intently. "But the one who planned all of this is Duke Hellene, right?" Gura didn't respond.
"Hmp, your silence means Duke Hellene was involved." Christina smirked. 'Bitch what?? Master told me if I don't know the answer, just keep silent and keep calm like a mysterious expert, and who the fuck is Dukhelen?', Gura frowns.
*Thud*
A heavy step was heard; all the monsters are now circling the camp. These monsters are a lot different from the first one. They're much larger, have red rocks in their bodies, and wear human skin. Their blood-shot eyes are aiming at them, and without hesitation, each one of them rushes to attack them. "Here they come." Osso brings out his sword and a blade on his right arm. Gillis and Christina did the same, bringing out their weapons: a sword and a twin blade.
The initial monster who got near first tried to grab Osso but was unsuccessful because he wielded his sword to decapitate the demon and then controlled the blade to slice its esophagus. Christina dodges the incoming attack and slashes its tendons before aiming its eyes and throat. Gillis uses his strength by putting the freaks in half.
The three of them decided to work together to lessen the burden of the monster rush. It takes an hour, and the two of them get exhausted faster. It's not that they're weak, but the monsters are capable of learning. Every time they killed a monster, the others were not rushing but studying their attack pattern. The monsters tightened their encirclement, and the three chose to further set up a defense circle, keeping the freaks at bay.
"Aw-aaaw ouch... If you guys really want to protect me, use your bodies and throw your lives," Gura pouts while shaking her head. "How can you protect someone with your abilities?" She added to ridicule the three mercenaries. The three were astonished. When they looked, they saw Gura at the center, trying to hide between them.
"Mother fucker!" Gillis shouts with reddened skin. He wants to grab Gura, but the monsters keep pushing, and he swayed his sword like a madman every time a monster rushed at him. Christina tried to kick Gura, "Move, stupid brat!" But she dodged it and slapped her buttocks. "Ouch!" This fact annoyed Christina; even her fast kick could be dodged by this small brat.
Meanwhile, Osso was watching while fending off the monsters. He grinned and focused his attention on Gura. In a split second, Osso suddenly unleashed his aura and caused Gillis and Christina to be startled. Upon releasing, Osso sent a rapid kick to Gura, which he hit with all his might. This caused Gura to flinch. She raised and used both of her arms to defend the quick and heavy blow from him, and she was thrown towards the forest. "That hurts!"
Gillis and Christina sent Osso a good job smile but got astonished when Osso ran fast and followed Gura, leaving behind the two mercenaries to defend themselves from the numerous enemies. Gura, on the other hand, was flying deeper into the woods. She saw numerous freaks on her way. "Cool, I didn't collide with any monsters or trees," she says, enjoying herself while traveling. "Ah! I need to check my arms. How did I forget about it?" She checked both of her arms to see if they were damaged, but fortunately she spawned a small barrier to protect her arms before the kick connected.
"Good, still ok... am I forgetting something?" Gura tried to remember what she learned from her master: "Master said if someone hits me and sends me flying, I should drop a sturdy barrier, so I won't get hurt... Ah! A barrier, that's right." Gura tried to release a spell. She clapped her hands and chanted "The wind who propelled," but before she finished, she got slammed hard into a thick tree.
Gura was slammed hard enough to make her unconscious for a second. "I'm so unlucky," she said, coughing up a portion of blood. She activated her aura and forced her body to be pushed out onto the tree. After getting out, she spread her aura inside to see what damage she had done. She found out that the lower bone on her spinal cord had been damaged. She coughed up a lot of blood afterwards.
"My back—ouch, it hurts. Master, help!" Gura sobbed out. She shrieked while enduring the pain on her lower tail; tears and blood got mixed up, and it's hard for her to breathe. Osso, who was rushing and killing any monsters who got in his way, saw Gura lying down on the ground. A deep voice was heard by Gura: "If you keep sprawling on the ground, then I'll just kill you." Gura tried her best to look at the speaker.
"What's this? A big guy visiting a beautiful patient?" Gura struggled to laugh, but she coughed blood. Osso, whose standing stride towards Gura and stop to her front, grabbed her head and lifted her up. He tightened his grip, and he tried to crush Gura's skull into a puddle.
Gura endured the extreme pain and created a barrier to defend her small head, then she looked at Osso in the eyes. Instead of being scared, she laughed it out and enjoyed his ugly face. She then spit on his face.
"You were still laughing even though you were already wrecked," he smirked. "I want to invest my time with you... by breaking you! Haha haha!" Osso hit Gura's several times before he unleashed his aura, integrated it with his fist, and smashed Gura's stomach again, sending her flying backward and blasting to another thick tree.
