Helen snapped her finger. “I will deal with you later.” Helen turned around, she saw Celine staring like a mute bystander. Celine shifted her gaze to the wall to avoid further arguments.
“You mannerless bitch! why don't you attach your ears in between us? I can see your preliminary personality reflecting bit by bit. Clean up this place before I come back. Ugh… she's just like her nosy mother.” Helen strictly ordered and ran after Henry.
“She knows my mum?” Celine asked inwardly, she ignored that with the thought that Helen is just blabbering.
Celine eyes surveyed the majestic room, she crouched on the seat “Why do I end up meeting bizarre people?” Celine grumbled and breathes spasmodically, making a sound.
She stood up with the instinctive motive of locating the kitchen for a cup of water to get rid of her hiccups so she ran into different rooms in search of a kitchen, precisely a cup of water.
She eventually barges into a male's room, Erickson's room. Startled, Celine looked over and saw a guy with an athletic body, wrapped in a bathrobe.
Erickson had an earphone on, his eyes were shut as he hums the rap music. He was wide-eyed, staring at her in shock.
“What are you doing here?” he removes the earphone to hear from her.
Celine's eyes immediately dart to a jug of water beside Erickson. Celine looked at his appalled face with a sneer “Can I have a cup of water?”
Erickson squinted and his gaze drilled her. His expression was icy and his voice went up as he spoke. “First you seduced my father and now you are seeking my attention. I must say, you've pulled up a perfect plan.”
Celine fought back her anger and her hiccups suddenly disappeared “Are you sure you are not deaf? You need a doctor.”
His expression became icier, with an added insidious look in his eyes. He sat on a sofa with his legs crossed. “You need a doctor more. I now understand the reason I see you everywhere. You are deceiving yourself if you think I will fall for those flat boobs.”
Celine felt betrayed when she took a glimpse of her boobs, she dared him by barging in and she ignorantly grabbed a cup, filled it with water from the jug, and gulps it in.
Erickson squinted and shifted to get a more comfortable posture, he demurely stares at her. “Im still wondering what my dad likes about you.”
“Absolutely nothing. ” Celine confessed.
“Why isn't she making advances toward me? I need a good excuse to embarrass her.” Erickson became a little curious.
Erickson yanks the cup from her.
“Stay in your lane, maid” He smirks, expecting a yell.
Celine heart skipped for a second, she became uneasy not because he yanked the cup, she felt some tingling when his hand softly touched hers. She paused, still in shock staring at her hand hanging in the air.
Erickson became irritated at her muteness.
“So what? Are you coming up with a plan B?”
With more confidence, she raised her voice from a timid mouse to a roaring lion.
“I am not dating Henry!” she ran out, and couldn't understand the purpose of her pounding heart.
Flashes of his soft touch on her hand replayed in her senses. Helen's presence made her regain full consciousness.
“Why are you coming out of Erickson's room?” she asked, taking a deep breath to continue. “I can joke with my husband but not with my sons. They are my everything.”
Helen profounded.
“Okay…” Celine giggles. She became uneasy staying so close to Helen, “Don't I get a break?” Celine questioned.
“You can't. After all, you didn't clean up your mess. You disobeyed me.” Helen sauntered to the living room, she crouched on the chair.
“Do this and leave. My responsible son doesn't like seeing trash, when I say trash I mean you.”
Celine gnashes her teeth, she craves to give that annoying being a taste of her own medicine but what can she do? She's into this for the sake of her mother's happiness.
“Where's the kitchen located?”
“Since you could search for a gold pot to dig why can't you search for this also?” Helen chuckles, she walks out with her car keys dangling in between her fingers.
Celine frowns punching her tiny fist on the sofa. “Where the fuck is she from?”
Being born with a silver spoon made she was so lazy, she ended up seating comfortably on the sofa and changing television channels.
Celine eagerly turns around when she heard some footsteps, she looked back with furrowed brows.
“Is this your father's house?” Erickson thundered as he slammed his feet on the ground. Celine jerked “What the!”
Erickson got more irritated with the broke and spilled champagne on the ground. He went into the kitchen for mopping sticks and made sure that spot was sparkling.
Celine was impressed, she felt he had superpowers and everything he does became angelic but she kept that composure, that ego made her sit firm.
“Lady, you can leave now,” Erickson commanded. Well, it's his father's house and he had the right to ask her out.
However, Celine was displeased at his harsh words, she became glued to the sofa and gave him a dreamy smile. Erickson pulled off the television through the socket. What can I say? He's more like his arrogant mother.
“Why should I? Is this how you treat visitors?” Celine doubted.
“Nah! This is how we treat gold diggers. I must say, you are good at this job. You had the effrontery to come to my home yet my mum didn't hurt you. Where on earth are you from?” Erickson questioned.
“Your mum didn't hurt me because she was aware that nothing is going on between Henry and me. It was a setup and I'm yet to know her purposes.” Celine let out a smile. Her smile became wider when Erickson tilts his head reasoning about it.
“I trust my mother.” Erickson let out.
“That reminds me of my mother, her health bothers me.” Celine let out, stroking her nape.
“Will you leave this minute? Quit talking to me also, I won't afford to be mind gamed by a harlot.” Erickson yelled. Celine creased her brows, she wanted to go anyways.
