Henry ran to a doctor his eyes met “Hi, how is my son, Erickson? I heard he got into an accident and he needed a blood donor.” Henry questioned, he cared less about arresting Hannah.
“Oh, you mean the patient in ward 103. His partner regained consciousness with bruises but he's still unconscious, he loved so much blood and urgently need a blood donor.” The doctor explained.
“Then what are you waiting for? What about the blood bank?” Henry asked hastily. Bianca watched the cops take Hannah. She, later on, remembered her children, and she ran to Celine's ward.
“Frankly, there is a higher percentage that the blood bank might not be able to deliver on time. It might be too late when they arrive.” Tue doctor explained.
“I can't lose my son. No! I just can't!” he lamented holding his head, tears flowing from his eyes as he stares at the doctor.
“Aren't you his father?” The doctor questioned.
“I am!” Henry said almost screaming. He knew the next option was to carry out some tests on his blood. Henry became excited realizing that he could save his son but he still worried.
After taking a sample of Henry's blood and performing some tests the doctor figured out that his blood component is not suitable for his son's transfusion.
Henry broke down on hearing the news.
He knew he had no option but to phone Helen, but just before he could slide out his phone of his pocket, Don appeared.
“Dad? ” Don said, he couldn't help but pull him into a hug, and he looked around “Glad you are alright, dad. The news said a lot about Erickson.” Don said with tears welling in his eyes. The news of Erickson and Celine's accident is all over the news. When Don saw the news he had to rush to the hospital location detailed in the news.
“We aren't losing Erickson, okay? Let's take your blood test.” The blood test was carried out and finally, they found a donor. Don was at least excited to help. He was laid close to Erickson's bed and the blood transfusion started taking place.
Don felt bad seeing his brother in that horrible condition, he knew Erickson couldn't live a second without him.
Everything was going smoothly, Henry's seated in thoughts about the blood test results. He started having doubts about the sons he called his. “Carry out a DNA test,” Henry commanded with an icy expression. The doctor did as he was asked but the result would be shown the next day so Henry was not worried.
He finally went to check on Celine, she was perfectly fine but couldn't stop asking about Erickson. He went to Erickson's ward and offered Don some food, he knew Don would always starve himself at night.
Don wanted to reject the meal his father offered, he was weak so he had to rush his meal. His pale and whitish face explained how weak he was. Henry kept on serving him energy food.
With time, Celine and Bianca appeared in Erickson's ward. With a bandage around her head, she ran to Erickson, holding his cold hands. “What's wrong with him?” her eyes were red as she questioned.
“He's getting better” Henry giggled. Celine eyes moved to Don laying on the other bed, she couldn't express her gratitude enough that she busted into tears.
“Everyones fine, stop crying.” her parents consoled her. She sat on the floor and placed her head on Erickson's bed, she slept in that position till the next morning
The Doctor had stopped the blood transfusion before morning. Celine morning stated with a smile as she felt his warm hands touching her neck.
“Hesawake! He's awake!” She screamed.
His parents rushed into his ward “Ericjson, how do you feel now?”
“Where am I?” his pale eyes wandered into his hospital ward. “What happened to Don?” He asked when he sighted Don laying on the sick bed.
“Glad you made it, bro.” Don murmurs.
“What's going on here?” Erickson questioned, then he remembered getting into a car accident with Celine, and he moved his visage to Celine. “Are you alright?” he sat up, placing a kiss on her lips.
Everyone gasped at the sight of them kissing.
Bianca pulled her daughter away “This disgusting, Celine.”
“I know but I love him” Celine had to confess. She shrugged her brows looking at her mum's confused eyes. Henry slammed his palm on his forehead, he didn't utter a word but walked away to the doctor for the DNA result.
However, the result was out and Henry was dying to see what the paper in his arms entails. He heaved a deep sigh hesitating to unfold the paper or not.
His heart beat ceased as he unfolds the resulting paper in his hands. He briefly read what the result said and in shock, he lets go of the paper. The paper fell on the ground as he looked at an open space “Oh no!” He muttered.
As the paper fell to the ground a hand grabbed it, “You dropped this.” Celine said pointing the paper at Henry. She wondered what made her father mute and then her curiosity took over.
He unwraps the paper and a flood of joy overflows her head. She jumped, running into Erickson's watch.
“Celine, didn't I warn you to stay away from Erickson? Get out of this ward, now!” Bianca's voice was filled with rage.
Celine smiled at her mum, spreading the paper. “Henry didn't father Don and Erickson. Scientifically, they aren't related.” Celine yelled with joy. She was expecting others to be as excited as she is, a frown was worn on their face and they looked displeased.
“What sorry of nonsense is that? That's impossible!” Erickson yelled. Don sat up, weeping. Don knew about Hannahs's little secret, he remembered promising her he would never tell anyone that he is a bastard.
“Oh my! Henry must be so mad,” Bianca said, she walked out of the ward and immediately sighted Henry with a feigned smile.
“Im so glad, now Celine can be together with her lover,” Henry said and a smile crept on Bianca's face. She pulled him into a hug.
“You so much care about your daughter”
“Yeah, I love her so much and I could sacrifice a lot,” Henry whispered. It
Their voice was audible in Erickson's ward, he busted into tears as Celine embraced him.
