The clique were going to the library. "So we'd been living beside souls not yet put to rest? We got to be careful here", said Chloe. "There's a book I want to show you guys by the way", she said again. She stopped by the library. Others stopped too. "What book is that?", asked Finley. "Let me show you guys the book", she opened the door and asked everyone to walk in. Her friends walked inside with hesitation. "What's wrong guys? Come in!", she would say. "You think it's easy to walk into a room "Do Not Enter" was written on the door?", Darcie questioned. "I got in here yesterday. Ethan can relate", Chloe chuckled. "What if there's a treasure hidden inside here?" "You know well we didn't come here to take what's not rightfully ours", Amber replied. "Wait! Don't misquote me. I didn't say we should take what's not ours, I was saying indirectly they may be no dangerous stuffs here but, just treasures", said Chloe. She was searching the exact shelf she kept the book but couldn't find it. She became worried and kept on searching for it, vigorously this time. Her friends could see she was worried. "I don't think you remember where you kept the book", said Finley, who tried his best to make it polite. "I kept it here...", she replied and walked to the opposite shelf, "...or is it here...", she went to another, "...or maybe here?" She went back to the first shelf and kept on searching. She brought out two books that were together and showed them to her friends. "You see these books?! I kept that book in between these", she told them. They became bored and wanted to go. Dave walked up to her and placed his hand on her shoulder;"We'll search for the book later." Mr Black was behind a shelf, watching the clique. He was smiling: he had stolen the book. "I better go before I get caught", he soliloquised quietly. Darcie heard a voice and turned towards his direction. He was fast enough and hid behind the shelf. She smelt a rat and went to check behind the shelf. She walked slowly and quietly to the shelf. When she got there, she quickly bent down and peeped at the back of it, but saw no one. She decided to ignore it and joined the rest. "We're going. When you get tired, you can come join us", Dave referred to Chloe and signalled others to follow him. They all left her in the room alone. Chloe kept on searching the shelf. She was now feeling irritated and threw some books to the floor, a very mighty force pushed her suddenly, making her hit the opposite shelf hardly. She felt so weak after this. She felt pain on her head and used her hand to touch the back of it to see if she was bleeding at the head. She didn't see any blood on her fingers but as she was too weak to get up, she leaned on the shelf. After some moments, Dave ran in to help her. "Chloe! Chloe! What happened to you?", he asked. She couldn't reply, she was just too weak to do anything: she looked lifeless. Dave began to get worried, shedding tears;"What's going wrong?" He carried her up and walked out of the room. When both had gone, strange noises (very spooky ones) were all over the room. * * * Chloe and her friends were in her bedroom. She laid on the bed, conscious while her friends surrounded her, sitting on the bed. Finley came in with a glass of water and gave it to her. "Have some water", he said. She took the glass and drank all of it. Finley took back the glass cup and kept it on a drawer by Chloe's bed. She then got up and sat on the bed. "What happened to you?", Amber asked her. Chloe tried remembering but, her head started aching her. Dave held her hands and told her;"Don't stress yourself so much." She smiled and nodded her head. "I remember when immediately I threw some books to the floor in rage, an invisible force pushed me suddenly, making me hit the opposite shelf. I became too weak to even say a word but...", she turned to Dave and smiled at him, "...Dave came and saved my life. I felt I was going to die. Thank you Dave!", she added. "What could be this invisible thing?", wondered Ethan. No one gave a reply. "At first Amber was claiming to see strange things and ghosts, and now, Chloe's saying something invisible pushed her, leaving her in this condition", he added. "It's now I understand something's really going wrong in our lives", said Finley. "I'll go to fortune teller of this village. There's something I want to find out", Darcie suggested. Everyone but Amber kicked against it, saying it wasn't necessary. Amber was silent all along because she had been looking at the late Peters daughter, her ghost, standing by the wall. Though she was terrified, she kept her cool because the ghost told her to keep silent. No one noticed she was looking at something else. "I'll have to go without anyone knowing", Darcie made up her mind inwardly.
