Chapter Twenty-four

The six teenagers got up from the floor and dusted up themselves. Their families came inside the room, welcomed them and hugged them. They were so happy to see them again after a long time since their departure. Master Noah came into the room after some time. The six fry were astonished to see him on a T-shirt and a pair of trousers rather than his robe.
Carlos asked;"Master Noah! What happened to your robes?"
"Firstly, stop calling me Master Noah, call me Noah. Secondly, I burnt all my robes."
Amber asked, looking surprised;"Why did you do that? You'd always been on robes."
"I'm a Christian now. I really love this new religion I'm practising." The clique couldn't believe their eyes and ears. Darcie's Dad said;"We'd been watching you guys on several occasions while in Zantis." The clique was surprised. "Yes! We saw how God saved you rather than Lucifer. After that very scene, we all decided to forbid Illuminati and convert fully to Christianity.
"Yeah! I don't want to be claiming believing in God by attending church sermons and yet, worship Lucifer in secret because of my desires to possess powers anymore", said Finley's Mum.
His younger brother added;"If being a Christian will make us not posses any spiritual powers, then we accept."
The clique was so glad with their families decision. They looked at each other smiling. Dave announced;"We're already fully converted to Christianity, what about you all?" They all nodded their heads in unison. "Well! That's settled! We've got a lot of things to celebrate, remember?"
"Yes! Yes! Christmas day is at hand", Dave's little sister was jumping in excitement. Dave wasn't fully satisfied with her answer. "Well...you only gave an answer but, they're lots more." "You can list out all of them, we're ready to listen", Noah suggested.
"Ok! First is the Christmas celebration, second is the skiing competition Finley's participating in. Third, my birthday celebration on this coming Sunday. Fourth, Finley's little bro's birthday." "Oh My God! He remembered my birthday!", Finley's little brother exclaimed, feeling so excited. Dave smiled at him. "Fifth, Chloe Dad's birthday!" Chloe's Mum whispered to her husband;"Your birthday celebration this year is a must." He gave her a stare in return. Dave concluded;"And sixth, celebrating our conversation conversion to Christianity!".
"How are we going to celebrate the sixth?", Ethan asked. "Well! We can celebrate it by showing kindness to people, maybe orphans in orphanage homes." Noah became so delighted;"I love Dave's idea." The rest thought about it and decided to be a part of the celebration.
A phone began ringing and Finley's brother brought it out of his pocket. "Finley! It's Theo on the phone", he said. Finley collected the phone and picked up the call. Everybody put his or her attention on the phone call.
"Hello Theo!" "Where had you been? Your brother told me you travelled", Theo, in a worried tone.
"I went on a trip for a couple of reasons."
"It's two days to the skiing competition. We had eating competition today."
"I'll make myself available. It's a promise!"
Their sighed;"I hope so! Talk to you later dude!"
"Goodbye Theo!" Theo ended the phone call.
Finley put the phone into his pocket and looked at everyone. They were expecting him to say something. "The competition is in two days." "Wow! That's really close!", his Mum felt anxious. "Don't worry Mum! I'm used to practising at the eleventh hour." She gave him a strange look, looking surprised on hearing that.
Finley looked up and spoke in a high tone;"Now let the preparations for our various celebrations begin!" "Yeah!", everyone chorused.
In the skiing competition, Finley was currently on second position. His family and friends were all cheering for him, chanting his name and so on. He smiled past them racing into the final lap and they increased their intensity.
"Come on son! You can do it!", his Mum yelled. Darcie was eating popcorn. "Come on buddy!", Dave shouted and dipped his hand into her popcorn, collecting a handful and began eating it. Darcie frowned at him and hit his hand, making some popcorn to fall to the ground. "What's that for?", he faked up confusion.
The participants were in the final lap. Finley was still at second place though. He was breaking down the gap between him and the one at first place steadily. At a time, they seemed to be at a tie. His competitor would put more effort and push further in front but, Finley wouldn't relent easily and put in more effort, catching up with him eventually. Finley's family and friends saw his performance on the TV and hailed at him to try harder.
Gradually, Finley over took him and became the one at first place. His opponent couldn't imagine this as possible and tried to catch up with Finley. Chloe saw them on TV and leapt for joy. She informed others;"Everyone look! Finley's in first place." They got more excited, begging him to keep it up to the end. They now saw Finley coming closer to them.
Finley skied past them with one in second place way behind him. Finley was now really certain he would finish first. His people clapped, some jumped though, for the joy of seeing their own winning the competition. Finley past the finish line, as the winner. There were shouts of joy everywhere. Their was so impressed with Finley's performance and gave him a standing ovation. Finley sighted him amongst the crowd and bowed down in response. His family looked like the happiest family in the world as they chant his name. He shook hands with the second place guy. "You're really a tough person to beat." He smiled and replied to Finley;"You're tougher!" They hugged each other and the runner up walked away. Finley bowed down to the audience as they clapped for him.
Dave's birthday! It was celebrated in the usual meeting place of the group. This time, the big room was ripped off of those idols and spiritual items pertaining to Satan. It was now very simple but beautifully decorated, the room of a true Christian family.
"Happy birthday to you...", they all sang a birthday song to Dave, who was in front of his cake, looking so blissful. They finished singing and his Mum told him to make a wish and blow off the candles. Dave closed his eyes, thought of something, opened his eyes and blew off the candle lights.
"Before you cut your cake and share it with everyone, let's open some presents for you", said Noah. Dave became happier but, also curious to know where the gifts were. His Dad noticed it on his face and told him;"I know you're eager to know where the presents are." Dave nodded his head to agree.
"Look at that box over there! Let's open it and find out what are inside it", his Dad pointed to it. Dave walked up to it, opened it and saw a lot of wrapped up presents just for him. He turned back and saw everyone watching him. He said, so excited;"Thank you guys! This is really meaningful to me."  They replied together;"Happy birthday Dave!"
The same procedures took place on Finley younger brother's and Chloe Dad's birthdays. They sang a birthday song for them on their respective days and both were given gifts from evetuy person.
After the birthday celebrations, they all began preparing for the Christmas celebration. The Christmas tree was bought, gifts and toys were bought by Noah and parents. The clique wrote some special messages to be read out to everyone on the Christmas day celebration.
The Christmas celebration was a very special one this time around. The tree was beautifully adorned with lights and some other beautiful stuffs. The clique read out the spey messages to everyone, telling them how special everyone was to them. It was indeed, a very touching moment, one never to be forgotten. Noah and the parents gave the children gifts and the children gave them gifts also in return. It was a very lovely day.
After the Christmas celebration, the next day, the group went to a close by orphanage home. They gave the orphans a lot of clothing and other essential things that could go a long way in helping. They put smiles on every orphan's face. The six celebration were now completed.
Mass was about to commence, as the group wait outside the church. Only Dave and his family were absent. Noah checked the time on his watch. "When will they arrive?" He was worried.
A car drove into the parish and parked close to them. Dave, his Mum and siblings rushed out of the car to meet up with others. "What kept you guys for long?", Noah asked. Dave's Mum replied;"Nothing really!" Everyone was now waiting for Dave's Dad to come out. He joined then soon after. "Has it begun?", he asked. "Let's go in!", Noah replied. Everyone walked into the church.
