Chapter Eight

The next day! The six friends were walking down a road. "I don't really like going to orphanage homes", said Ethan. "Why?", Amber asked. "It makes me a little bit scared because I always imagine myself being an orphan, like losing my parents whenever I see them", he replied.
"You shouldn't be thinking negatively", Dave cautioned him. "We came here to help people in need. Orphans can't be an exception", Darcie added. The clique arrived at the orphanage home soon after.
They got into the compound and caught the attention of everyone. The people started murmuring as the friends were walking past them. "They must be the next family", a boy told his friend. The clique heard this and looked at him, though still moving forward.
A staff ran to the Director's office. She was panting greatly. The Director got scared. "Ma'am! I've seen the next family to be destroyed by the Peters family", the staff told her. She got up in fear;"We shouldn't be associating with them or else, the ghost of the Peters family will kill us." "They're coming to see you", the worker informed. "I need to send them away", she replied.
The clique were blocked on the way by the Director herself, alongside some of her workers. "You must be the head of this orphanage home", Dave told her. "Why have you visited us today?", she asked them. "We came to give assistance, both financially and physically", Darcie replied.
"Wow! These fellows look and sound very nice", she thought. She smiled;"That's so nice of you but, we aren't allowed to receive any aid from anyone because there's someone that provides for us, everything we need."
"Who's this person?", Dave became curious. "Can't tell! I'm not permitted to let anyone know his or her name", the Director answered. He heaved a sigh;"We'd have loved to help but, since it's not needed, we'll forget it." They all turned to go. The Director called them back with a smile;"Wait! Please don't take it as we don't want your help. We really need it but, our hands are tied." The six friends smiled, nodded their heads and left. The Director wore a sad face when they'd all gone. "They're very nice people. I wish I could save them but, I'll do what I did for other families. I'll just pray...and hope they won't be harmed.

A man, on white gown was in his room, watching the six friends via a mirror on the wall. His room was filled with strange spiritual objects and the man was adorned with a lot of necklaces, bracelets and bangles of spiritual importance. He was smiling as he watched the group the mirror on the wall. He soliloquized;"These are the chosen ones. My prophesy has finally come to pass. You may see a lot of horrifying things trying to kill you but, don't worry, you'll all be safe. Safe journey friends!" The mirror now went back to normal. "Mr Black! The time for you to suffer is fast approaching", the man laughed loudly.

Finley was asleep on his bed at past 11. The late Mr Peter's son appeared inside the room. An owl flew to a window in the room and began hooting. Finley rolled over on the bed due to the noise the owl was producing. "Let that bird stop pissing me off", he said as he kept on rolling left to right on the bed. The owl kept on hooting and the ghost turned to Finley, wearing an evil smile. Finley became more pissed off and woke up from sleep. He rubbed his eyes with his hands and looked towards the window. He saw no owl around the window. He rather saw someone, on white garment looking outside, through the window. He rubbed his eyes again to prove he was having an illusion.
"Who's there?", he removed his hands from his eyes to sew. Immediately, he saw the ghost's face right before him, at a very close range on the bed. He yelled;"Oh shit!" The bed turned over, making him to roll off to the floor and it fell on him after. The ghost was standing in the air watching him. Finley tried to turn the bed over but it felt so heavy. Finley gave up after trying so hard. He turned left and saw the ghost laying by his side. It smiled at him, showing it's blood-stained teeth. "Get away from me!", Finley yelled and pushed the bed away. He ran to the door, opened it and ran out. As soon as he ran out, he fell off into an endless ditch. Finley was shouting yelling for help as he was falling into the ditch. The ghost watched him fell chuckling at it.
Finley woke up from his dream, panting and sweating profusely. "It was just a nightmare", he placed his hand on his chest, trying to calm down. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep again this night", he sighed and laid down, facing up. While laying on the bed, the same ghost was sitting on a chair in the room, watching Finley. It smiled and disappeared.
