When humans run out of blood, they die in a horrible torturous manner, but when vampires run out of blood, the state that is equivalent to human death transforms them into a statue state. This has now happened to the known vampire Helios, who has ran out of blood during the conflict. His body can no longer sustain life and he perishes. Helios had transformed into a statue, kneeling in front of Moon Ryeong, who is mourning at the thought of his absence from her life. Smith became outraged when he realized what had happened to the great vampire; he had never intended to kill him so quickly. He intended to utilize his body and the last drop of blood to complete his experiment. But now, with Helios' death, his entire dream has crumbled. He clenched his teeth tightly. All of this would not have happened if Helios had not become so consistent in saving and safeguarding the lady. As a result, his animosity towards Moon Ryeong grew stronger. Smith is unable to forgive her. He then swiftly pulls the trigger on the gun, intending to kill her instantly. "Door!" another resounding gunshot fills the room, shocking everyone present. However, it is not Moon Ryeong who is being shot; rather, it is Smith himself who is experiencing excruciating pain in his chest. Smith smirks to himself as he touches his own chest and feels a warm flow of blood dripping from his body. He then shifts his focus to her daughter. Areum's hand remains in the air, holding a gun. Before Smith could kill Moon Ryeong, she shot her own father in the heart. The daughter is crying as she looks at her father; she can't let him continue to sacrifice others to satisfy his own selfishness. She is enough just to stand there and watch all of his cruelty, which kills hundreds of innocent people. She can't take it any longer and decides to end it with her own hand. Smith's body fell to the floor, and his blood pooled to cover him. He died at the hands of his own daughter, whom she has always loved and respected. But, in the end, she must make a difficult decision and choose to betray him. Areum can only wail and sob as she watches her father become lifeless and die. She just made a key decision that changed everything. Her heart is heavy since she has just killed the father she wanted for a long time. But she knows she doesn't have a choice. Moon Ryeong, on the other hand, is so preoccupied with her personal loss that she is unaware of what is going on around her. Her entire attention is focused solely on Helios, who remains motionless. She has been crying all the time about him. It felt like all of the air around her had evaporated, leaving her breathless, and her heart felt like it had been squashed barely. She keeps crying and crying, pleading for his life to return as she caresses his cheeck. Helios' memories came flooding back to her like a flash of a movie, filling her mind. She recalls him always looking at her with affection and love in his eyes. She recalls everything he has done for her. When he treats her, she recalls his firm yet gentle touch. She recalls how, despite her constant rejection of his love and choice to betray him, he always made an opportunity for her to return to him. She also recalls his smile as he ate the first pancake she made for him. She remembers everything about him, which causes her to cry even more. "Aren't you envious of human love that you can't manage to get?" All he wants from her is love, which she never shows. Instead of loving him, she always shows contempt in her eyes and says terrible things to him. He has lived all thousand years of his own dark life alone; why is it so difficult for her to give him the love he has been seeking for a thousand years? Why can't she show up and give him a little happiness while leaving him to live his miserable life alone? Why did she do that? She begins to regret all she has done, pushing him even further away. heartlessly. "Do you still loathe me so much? After all these hundreds years?" His question returned to torment her. Moon Ryeong shakes her head and continues to cry. "Anniya (no...).... I don't loathe you... so please comeback..." She begs the statue of the great vampire, who clearly isn't listening to her. "No matter how much hatred you have for me and how much disgust you show me, I always feel the best comfort when you're are around, that's why, why can't you show me a little mercy?" Helios' vulnerable side, which he revealed to her for the first time, flashed across her memory. He had never begged for anything and was always arrogant and harsh in front of others. But she is always a special person for him, making the great vampire go lowly to beg for her. "How come it's never be me? ... Am I really that unlovable to you, Moon Ryeong-ah? Why are you always capable of loving another man... but never me? Even if I wait and wait and wait for hundreds of years... Why... isn't it me?" His words, his expression, his pleading voice, and his tears have all become a source of pain in her mind. Why does she never love him back though all he did was plead for her love so pitifully? Why couldn't she do that when he was still with her? "Staying by your side is the most agonizing experience I've ever had. Please do not add any more torment to my life. Please do not touch anyone in my vicinity and leave me alone. I beg you..." At that time, she believed that if Helios were suddenly taken away from her life, she would be content. But now that it has actually happened in front of her eyes, she realizes that everything is wrong. She doesn't want him to part ways with her. She wants him to be by her side at all times. Why is it taking her so long to grasp this? "If you want to be happy without me, I won't be an impediment. But living without you is like living death for me. It became more agonizing than death it self. That's why, Moon Ryeong-ah, just kill me" Moon Ryeong realizes Helios would constantly put his life on the line simply to be with her because he begged her to kill him rather than live with him alone. Even today, he uses his own body to protect her, even if it means his own death. "Why? "Why?" she asks the statue, tears streaming down her cheeks. Moon Ryeong then notices a sunsa knife laying next to her. It reminds her of the time they were in the cave hundreds of years ago, when Helios allowed her to suck his blood to keep her alive. At that point, she used the knife to cut his palm and cause the great vampire to bleed. She hurriedly grabs the knife and cuts her own palm, drawing her blood out successfully. The lady then raises her hand above the lip of Helios's statue and squeezes her palm tightly, forcing him to swallow her blood. Drop by drop, blood enters Helios's lip successfully. However, nothing happened. The lady then sucked her own blood and transferred it into Helios' mouth. She kisses Helios passionately, allowing the blood to enter his lip more quickly. When the blood in her mouth runs out, she sucks another blood from her palm and kisses the statue to make him drink her blood again. "Please..." she begged in a hushed voice, still trying to make Helios sip her own blood. She sincerely hopes that it will aid in his survival. She waits in silence for a bit, at which point Lee Sung Gi and the others approach them and closely examine Helios' statue. They continue to wait, but nothing changes. Moon Ryeong's tears flow once again as she realizes she has lost him for real now and there is nothing she can do to save him. Sung Gi and the others' faces fell as they lost hope of saving the great vampire. But, as they conclude that everything is too late, Helios' hardened body gradually returns to normalcy, unnoticed. When the statue state ends, the vampire's body becomes limp, causing Helios to collapse unconscious on the floor. Moon Ryeong, who realized this, swiftly took his body into her arm. She is trying to wake up the vampire by calling out to him and shaking his body, but there is no sign of him doing so. As a result, she can only tighten her grip on him and hope for the best. She buries her face on his shoulder and continues to cry. She never wants to lose him ever again.
