The public disclosure of a virus discovered by a group of scientists that turns people who are injected with it into vampires shocked people across the globe. The project's leader is a foreigner named Dr Smith, who died in the struggle that occurred when the soldier was trying to take over the underground laboratory, while the other scientist involved has been apprehended and will be sentenced soon. The victims of this experiment murdered over a hundred people, and it piqued the interest of other countries from all over the world. "To prevent any further victims from the virus created in the laboratory, the soldier would blow it out tonight," one of the television anchors said, updating the situation. Almost every television channel has been discussing it. The case's news was also widely circulated on social media. In a short period of time, the topic of vampires became a hot topic once more. Lee Sung Gi has arrived at Helios' estate and is currently conversing in the corridor with a lovely woman with colored blonde hair. "How are things going? Is it possible to remove the vampire virus from their body?" the grandfather asks his half-vampire descendant. She has been a top doctor and scientist for centuries. Sung Gi has asked his family to discover a solution to heal the human who was injected with the virus because he does not want those innocent humans to live a vampire existence and wants them to return to their normal form if possible. "The only way to do so is to eliminate the virus in their body. Perhaps we could boost their immune system to do that, but grandpa, we're still learning about it," the woman replied. Sung Gi nods, understanding that it would be difficult to deal with. But, at the very least, he does not want to give up hope. "What about Helios? What became of him?" More questions are posed by the detective vampire. The doctor seemed hesitant to respond or clarify the problem. " It appears that he is in a coma due to a lack of blood in his body. He enters Torpor, a state of mental and physical inactivity. Fortunately, none of the bullets struck his chest, saving his life. But we must still wait until he is conscious. We don't know how everything that happened to his body affected him," the doctor explained. "When will he wake up then?" he inquires once more. The doctor does not respond and merely shakes her head, suggesting that she is unsure of the answer to the question. Sung Gi sighs deeply, his gaze fixed on the closed door to Helios' private room. Helios had been asleep for days after undergoing surgery to remove the sunsa bullet from his body. The detective then exits the corridor, followed by the doctor. Meanwhile, Moon Ryeong is seated next to Helios' bed. Her gaze never strayed from his. She'd been keeping a tight eye on his condition like that for days, hoping he'd open his eyes soon. As a result, she never leaves his side, even for a moment. Helios' surgery went well, but the doctor just asked her to wait without informing her whether he would ever open his eyes again. She takes his hand in hers slowly and tightly, hoping for the best. His demeanor is calm, as if he is sleeping deeply, and he is still breathing lightly. However, there is no other movement that suggests he will awaken any time soon. She then rested her head on the bedside while continuing to grip the vampire's hand. When night falls, Moon Ryeong pauses because she senses the presence of a familiar human. She raises her head and takes a long breath. Song Jae Rim has returned for another visit. He's been visiting the mansion every day since they returned from the fight, but he simply looks in from the outside gate or walks around the outer garden. He never approaches Moon Ryeong directly because he does not want to bother her or become a burden, which would make everything more difficult for the lady. Moon Ryeong, on the other hand, has been oblivious to the human's arrival because she has become too preoccupied with Helios' health. But she knows she can't make Jae Rim wait for her quietly like this if she doesn't talk to him at all. She was aware that Min Seol and Changmin were keeping the human informed of her whereabouts, and that he may already be aware that she was safe and sound. But not meeting him directly like this would undoubtedly cause the human to become concerned about her; she doesn't want to leave him alone with no words. As a result, she decides to meet him now. There is no one in the mansion when she exits Helios' room. She walks out of the mansion's main building and notices a human standing in front of the gate. Jae Rim can't help but smile when he sees the lady come before his eyes. It's been a while, and it feels like a long time since he hasn't seen her face, and he misses her. Jae Rim opens the unlocked gate and runs towards Moon Ryeong. He soon draws her small body into his tight embrace. "I'm glad you're safe and healthy," he says softly, holding her close. Moon Ryeong was aware of how much concern the human had for her. She can't just shove him away like that. As a result, she remains without movement and allows the chairman to hug her as much as he wants in order to soothe his feelings. When he's had enough, he slowly pulls his body back and lets go of the lady. "How is Ha Eun?" Moon Ryeong inquires about the status of the little child she hasn't seen in a while. Jae Rim simply nodded and smiled. He then gently and carefully caresses her cheeck, as if to ensure that the lady is indeed in front of him. "Why don't you come by yourself and greet her? She misses you terribly. I miss you as well." Jae Rim expresses his emotions openly, his bright smile never leaving his face. Normally, his joyful expression would brighten Moon Ryeong's mood, but this time it feels different for her. Moon Ryeong can still feel the warmth from his touch, which she has grown accustomed to, yet this warmth cannot relieve the heavy burden in her chest. She lifts her hand slowly and grasps his, withdrawing his hand from her cheeck. Her gesture made Jae Rim understand, and his smile faded despite his efforts to keep it still. "I... can't... I'm apologies the lady says. Jae Rim fell silent for a moment before flashing another smile at the end. "You don't have to apologize. I understand that a lot has happened to keep you occupied. You can visit her whenever you want in the future," he tries to be cheerful, but Moon Ryeong shakes her head slowly. She then removes a ring from her finger and hands it to Jae Rim; this is the ring he used to propose to her. "I can't go with you again, Jae Rim-ssi... I can't leave Helios alone," she says honestly. She doesn't want to deceive herself and continue to drive Helios out of her life. She would always stand by him and never leave him, no matter what happened between them. When Jae Rim hears her words, he can only look at her with a broken heart.
