Chapter 83
"Miss Mona."
Kyle flinched on his way to step out of the mansion as he saw Mona enter through the front gate of the big mansion.
Seeing him she stopped walking and contended, "Hello, Mr. Kyle."
"Hi." He added and stood like a monument while observing her.
Kind of awkward cessation. "Ahh, is Mrs. Davis inside?" As she asked Kyle answered her, "No, not yet."
"Ahh, ok. Then I will wait inside."
To keep her company as his heart wanted to do so, he walked with her through the entrance. After talking to Sanaya, Mona was told to come to meet her at the mansion. Mona had a file holding in her hand, probably something important was in it. Seeing the file Kyle became curious to know what it was about.
**
More than one hour passed since they parted. Sanaya headed toward the mansion when Nick went the opposite way. Though he did not want, Kyle said that they had a meeting he must need to attend. Having no choice he went to the office and Sanaya went back to the mansion.
"Mrs. Elisa, please send two cups of hot coffee to my room. Thank you." Saying so Sanaya walked upstairs towards her room when Mona followed her footsteps. It had not been a long since she had been waiting for Sanaya, Mona almost fell asleep while waiting for her on the couch.
Taking off the jacket that she was wearing, Sanaya sat on the sofa relaxingly. When the unknown number turned out to be Mona's, she was relieved. Somehow in her heart, she thought it could be someone she would most like to avoid the most but...
"Sis Sanaya, I have found a lot. You will be surprised when you know them. Please check these out."
She handed her the file. Taking out the papers Sanaya started reading them. Slowly her facial expression turned into shock from being normal. Was she even not having a misconception? Could she just be still dreaming or there was something wrong? Or was it not...
Surprised, terrified, and with mixed emotions surging within her heart... she looked at Mona who was enjoying the coffee that a maid just sent into the room a while ago.
'How can it be?' She glared at the papers again and then asked her in a low voice tone, "He had no relationship with any women after we got married, how can it be true? I mean, I have seen it with my own eyes even..."
"Maybe there was some misunderstanding."
"Misunderstanding? I... I saw him with them. I wouldn't believe it if I would not see him with her with my own eyes. No, there was not only one... He was with..."
"The far I know, he was with one of the women who he hired to just pretend to have dinner with him."
"What?"
"Yes." Mona took out her phone and showed it to her. "That night, he wanted to see how do you react to seeing him with another woman I think. According to what I have gathered, he had no relationship with her. And about another woman, see here. She had a boyfriend already. She was hired by Mr. Selvano and all the pics sent to you are fake."
Sanaya was getting more stunned as she continued talking. How could it be? Things were getting messed up in her head.
"Yes, I don't know the reason though but according to my investigation, Mr. Davis never cheated on you. Except for you, he did not give priority to any other women. I think someone might be wanted to separate you guys so that's all happened. Or it can be that for some reason, the misunderstanding got more drastic that you guys..." Mona illustrated.
Hearing all those from her, Sanaya started feeling sad. She not only pushed him away from her but she also punished herself. She thought of him as a bad guy and she even left him for a year as she thought he cheated on her but... How could it turn out different from what she thought it would be...
"I always thought he cheated on me, I thought I forgave him even though he made a mistake but I was wrong..."
Seeing her sit sadly, Mona interrupted her thoughts. "There's more. Please read them, sis."
As Mona said so, she looked so pessimistic but wiped off her face. No, she wouldn't cry yet.
She turned the next page while Mona observed her looks. She knew what was waiting for her next... Sanaya was yet to get more shocking news...
Getting a call from someone Mona excused herself and went out when Sanaya was looking at the pile of papers.
In no time, the file fell from her hands. Sanaya stared into the air and with a gloomy face, she mumbled in a shivering tone, "BPD... He suffers from BPD?" Quickly picking them up, she started reading more.
She covered her mouth with both of her hands in resentment as she read everything. 'Dream-reality confusion in BPD... He had been suffering from it for a long time? Oh my God!'
Slowly her world started getting darker. Sanaya could see how he was hurt, how he couldn't sleep at night because of nightmares, his sufferings, and pain... She could not imagine what torture he went through. Her heart sank into the deep ocean of distress.
The way he kept her away from him to make sure she wouldn't get hurt, his suffering all alone, his not saying even a single word to her in case she would be worried... Sanaya looked at the table in the room. She still remembered how she packed all her belongings and left. She did not bother to ask him anything clearly, she left him believing others but not him.
She was still in a daze when suddenly Mona entered the room, running and gasping. "Shit! I've two pieces of news. Good news and... And bad news."
'No, this won't do. I want to see him, right now.' Giving no ear to Mona's words, she put the papers on the table and ran towards the door but Mona stood before her.
"Sis Sanaya, you can't go out now. It's not safe."
"Move. I have to go."
"Please, don't go out."
Sanaya let out a sigh and let out in a frantic tone of voice, "Mona, I am saying it for the last time. Move! I have to go."
As she took a step ahead, Mona stretched out her arms and blurted out, "Reporters are looking for you. Once you go out, you will be surrounded by them. Please stay here."
"What do you mean? Why would they look for me?" Sanaya nonchalantly raised one of her eyebrows as she was astonished.
Mona immediately took out her phone and showed it to her, she clarified. "Someone posted some photos of you and Mr. Davis...."
Sanaya could see the 'melodramatic and mud throwing on her character' captions. The photos were taken closely as if the cameraman followed them to take those photos. "Once in a time, the popular actress Sanaya Roy Chowdhury is now seeking opportunities from the worldwide renowned businessman Nicolas Davis. Actress Sanaya Roy Chowdhury once worked in his company, later she was kicked out by the company because of her... Etc. Etc." Reading those different headlines leading the same meaning, Sanaya couldn't help to bother.
"How dare they write such nonsense! It's all fake." Mona dished angrily. She was so fierce when she saw the news.
Sanaya passed her phone back to her while saying, "It's ok. Let them be. Who cares anyway!" And she sauntered away... Mona quickly followed in her footsteps. "I have good news to share too. Sis Sanaya..."
At this moment, she would be happy at least. But Sanaya didn't show any appreciation. "What is it?" She simply asked her.
With tremendous excitement, Mona announced with a bright smile. "We have got what we deserve. The contracts that were terminated, they want to sign you back, and now, not only them but two more producers already got in touch with us, they want you to be the main lead in their upcoming movies. Also..."
Mona was talking continuously while jumping back and forth in her heart in excitement, she was so delighted. But suddenly she found herself talking alone, Sanaya was... Gone. But where did she go?Download Novelah App
