"What? She ran away?" Kyle looked around to check if his boss heard him. D*mn! He was about to freeze there even in such fine weather. He was already tensed imagining Nick's reaction once he would know that... From the other side of the call, Mona sounded as panicked and tensed as him. "She said she must go. I don't know where did she go, what to do now? Now, reporters are looking for her everywhere, and that fake news might have already made the audience dislike her. I can't understand... What... What to do now." "Ok, let me handle it. I will send men to find Mrs. Davis, please don't worry. We will surely find her." Kyle tried reassuring her. There, Sanaya was steering the car at the increased speed on the road. Her fingers lingered on the gear impatiently and she focused on the road. As her phone started ringing, she took a look at it and didn't bother to pick up the call. The cars on the road, and the traffic jam was eating her patience. As soon as the road started getting clear, she turned to the left road and started driving at full speed again. Regardless of the trouble, she could be in for driving at the highest speed, she was not even bothered. 'Fifteen minutes more to go...' she mumbled. Sanaya was yet to reach his company building but when she was about to take a right turn, suddenly she kept her feet on the brake, hitting her head on the gear slightly. Tilting her head when she looked ahead, she saw the other car crashing with her on the opposite. The driver did not seem to want to move off her way at all. Getting angry, she got out of the car and hit on the car windows, "You are blocking my path, please move your car off of the road... Hello? Please move the car out of... " Suddenly seeing the car owner, ready to get out she stood back. "You..." Upon seeing the man she disliked coming out. Sanaya was a little bit surprised to see him here though. "I was gonna find you. Thankfully, we met here." Virat disputed, getting out of the car. "Why?" "I saw the news. They are purely lying, they are slandering you and..." Sanaya was already in a hurry, she didn't have time to listen to him anyway. "I am in a hurry, we can't talk right now." "Sanaya, wait." "What?" "Reporters are looking for you, you should not go anywhere this time. Let me take you to..." "No need. I can take care of myself. Thank you." With that as she was about to get in the car suddenly, he put his hand on the car door to stop her from getting in. She was surprised a little bit to see him doing daring things. "What are you doing?" "You said you have a boyfriend. Is it him? Is it Mr. Davis?" He questioned her, still keeping his hand on the car door. "That has nothing to do with you. So move off my way." "It has something to do with me. Sanaya, not only my family but even your family wants us to get married. We..." Cutting him off Sanaya subtracted in the line, sounding real annoyed. "I've told you that I am already with someone, I am happy with him and I love him very much. Stop saying it when I have told you to stop bothering me." "It's not love. Sanaya, Mr. Davis is not a good choice, he is not good for you. Didn't you see news about him before? He is a Playboy, he changes his girlfriend frequently and he will leave you one day, then what will you do?" Those words... He was acting as if he was any good for her. Sanaya took a look at Virat and then forced a smile on her face. Thankfully she could control her anger or after what he said that day, she wanted to punch his face... "Thanks for thinking so much about me but I don't need your concern." He had the guts, she must say. Now, he came to warn her on his own. Telling all he wanted was for her good, did he mean it? "Did you think what will happen if grandpa knows about you and him? He will never accept him as his grandson-in-law. And your family? So what I'm saying is, take my idea and..." "Virat, please. I told you I'm in a hurry. And I still remember I made it clear to you that day that we can't be anything. Now, whatever I am doing is my concern, not yours. Please stop coming to me, I don't really wanna meet you." She said so and let out a sigh. Damn, he was near the car like a leech, lingering on the car and not even moving a slight. Virat did not let go of his grip on the car door. He stood where he was and even got a stronger hold on the car door. "I can't do that when I see you in trouble. True to say, I thought that I would stop chasing you but look what just happened. You are in danger, being with a wrong man like him will do no good to you but ruin you. Why don't you understand it? Sanaya. I am thinking about..." "Move." "I can't." "Are you serious? Virat. No, you just made no sense. Stopping me from getting in my car, what tricks are you tryna play?" "I am not playing tricks. Believe me, reporters are waiting for you. They will find you everywhere you go, so I want to protect you. It's my responsibility." She heard him. His words were going around. He was no good, she knew but who knew he would get on her nerves every time they met! Getting angry she held his arm and blurted out, trying to move him off her car. "I don't need a man to protect me. And what do you mean by responsibility? You are not responsible for anything that has me included, I hope you stay distant from me." "I talked to grandpa yesterday. He is happy to know that you are doing fine but he is still angry at you a little that you ran away from him just to be a model." She managed to shove him off the car but his words got her. She turned around and sent him a look of surprise. "You told him about me?" Virat nodded, and he put his hand in his pocket, "He told me to take you back to India as soon as possible so we can get married." "And what did you tell him next?" "I told him that you need some time as you have a few projects to work on. Once you finish, we will go back and..." She heard him. She didn't expect much of him anyway. In an annoyed and furious tone, she asked him, "Are you crazy? You know I love someone else and you told my grandpa that we will go back together?" "That's not love. I know you will break up with him sooner or later, we cannot believe these foreign men you know. They never stay with one..." "Shut up!" Angrily she shot him a cold gaze and opened the car door. "Sanaya, listen to me. I..." Sanaya swang around this time, "You listen to me. I have less tolerance. There won't be the next time before I punch you for badmouthing my man. So you better not try me." With that, she got in the car and drove away. She could still see Virat's face pissed off and it somewhat made her happy. But something was still disturbing her. What if her grandpa would come here? To LA?
