Chapter 96

"How dare you! Take this brat out of here! I don't want to see her here!" In the dining room, the old man was so furious that he threw a glass of water at her face in resentment.
"Dad..." Sanaya's dad and uncle ran to Sanaya to check if she was ok. But Sanaya stood up on her own, she did not wait for another second.
Not giving a d*mn she swerved away while saying, "I am ok. I will go back to my room." She wandered away.
More than a month passed since she came back to India and since then she did what she wanted to do. Her grandpa got angry at her every day to the extent that he just wanted her to get married as soon as possible.
Sanaya spend time with her beloved family, her parents, her uncle, and her brother who loved her. It was another night when she ignored Virat again and went to parties.
In the night when everybody was sleeping, she came back home. Thinking everyone was sleeping, she walked toward the room where her grandpa was staying at.
"Come in!" Knocking at the door as the old man said so Sanaya walked into the room.
As the old man saw her, he let out, "What are you doing in my room? Get out!"
Sanaya strolled toward him while smirking. That bitter smile as if she would kill him right away.
"You reek of alcohol! In the USA, did not only learn to ruin your life? Did you forget everything you were taught here? You have become shameless to..."
"Shameless? What's that?"
"You! Get out of my room right now!" The old man burst out in anger. As he suddenly started to cough Sanaya stood at the place, no longer waddling toward him.
"Don't you think the word suits you well not me? Grandpa."
"You! Mind your...."
"Mind? Do I need to? You are so honorable man here. What do you think everyone will think when they will know that you almost killed your granddaughter's husband?"
Sanaya was sauntering toward him when he took a step backward. "You tried to kill him brutally. You know I will never marry a scumbag like Virat, so you are threatening me with him, what do you think people will think of you when they will know the true reality about you?"
"You have gone crazy! You not only married a guy from a different religion but also became an actress. After knowing everything Virat still wants to marry you. Instead of being grateful to him, how dare you slander me!"
Sanaya couldn't help but cackle out loud as she heard him. Letting out a sigh she grabbed a bottle of water from the table and put it on the near table for him to get it.
She didn't say anymore but walked towards the door to leave. Opening the door she announced, "I can't do anything to you since you are my grandfather but don't expect that will be the same with Virat."
"What do you mean? You... What will you do with Virat?"
Hearing the old man's worried tone she smiled, that bloodcurdling smile, and announced faintly, "Since he dared to mess my life, I have to let him know the taste of his fruit. Don't worry, I won't dirty my hands. Since I am your granddaughter, I must know how to handle him. Goodnight, Grandpa." With that as she stepped away, the old man immediately drank the whole glass of water in one go.
Getting into her room, Sanaya sat on the bed. She was exhausted, she needed to hold on a little bit more. Touching her belly Sanaya smiled with tearful eyes, "We are almost there, baby. Once we are done here, we will meet your dad."
Acting out if her character was obviously making her tired.
Just when she was about to walk towards the bathroom, the door of her room was pushed open. Sanaya looked in the direction startled and saw her mother.
"Maa." She looked around and wiped off the tears over her face.
Her mom held her hand and made her sit on the bed. Sanaya knew it was hard to hide anything from her. She tried her best to hide everything that's why nobody except the old man in the family knew about her marriage and...
Suddenly to her surprise her mom asked, "What is his name?"
"Who... Are you talking about?"
"Your husband." She heard her mom say so.
Astonished, she stared at her for a moment and then looked away. With a sad, she mumbled, "I..."
"I heard everything when you were talking to your grandpa. You want to lie to your mom?" Hearing her Sanaya turned towards her. "No, mom. I just... I just thought it was..."
"You thought it was not the right time yet?"
Sanaya nodded her head and her mom stroked her face. "Silly girl, how could you think I can't tell what's going on with my daughter? I knew something was wrong since the day you came back. And if not me seeing you wear vermillion every day then maybe I would not know that my daughter is married and she is hiding it from me, her mom."
"Maa(mom)..."
"Don't bear it all yourself. Your mom is still alive, she will support you in everything you do, dear." Sanaya snuggled her mom as she heard her. Right, she had been bearing everything all herself. This was tiring.
Her mom wiped off the tears over her face and let out, "Don't cry. It's not good for your baby."
"Mom, you..."
Her mom chuckled at her and stood up. Wandering some steps away she asserted, "Your aunty noticed you vomiting many times, she told me about it and we knew what happened to you."
"Sorry, mom. I did not mean to hide it from you, but I just couldn't tell you."
"San, no matter what happens. Remember, I will stand by your side. I support you in whatever you want to do."
"Thanks, mom..."
They stood there silently for some time. It was so long after the last time she slept in her mom's lap. Sanaya couldn't be happier. After she told her mom everything, her mom was happy. She did not show any objection to their relationship and that was the best happened these days.
"So what is the next plan?"
As her mom asked so Sanaya sat on the bed. She looked down at her tummy and smiling she recited, "I haven't got all the proof about his wrongdoings. Not only in the USA but Virat had done crimes here too. Tomorrow I will go to a place to meet someone, I need more proof so I can make permanent arrangements for him to stay behind the prison forever... Because of him, my husband and I both suffered. I will make sure he gets it ten-fold of what Nick suffered because of him!"
"Good girl, may God bless you and you get all the proofs in your hand soon."
"Yes, mom. I will..."
"But... Nick might start looking for you once he wakes up from the coma. Does he know about your pregnancy?"
Sanaya was looking at the moon when her mom asked her that. To her question, suddenly she remembered it. Right, since she came here she didn't even know how he was doing. She didn't have any chat with Mona or anybody... Sadly, she had to stay away and quiet.
"No, he doesn't know."
"I see... The day after tomorrow is your wedding day, do whatever you have to. I will help you to stop this wedding and if you need any hand then do tell me. Ok?"
As she nodded her head, her mom left. Only two days left and she needed to do something to stop the wedding. Well, she was sure she would stop it. There was no way she was going to marry someone else again.

Since when I was teen, I seldom imagine myself being the person referred from the book or novels I have read, and somehow dreamt of having it happen in my life.😍
