Chapter 35

Ynnah
It's been a few weeks since we, Eros and I, went back to school. Nothing has changed except the three women who cornered me before, they are avoiding me now. I don't know why and what happened. Maybe it's because of what Eros did to them so they are now avoiding me.
If that so, then I'm so much grateful to that. No one oppresses me anymore.
It's already our class dismissal so I immediately arrange my belongings in my bag so that when Eros returns, I will be ready to go home. He was called to the faculty room for the books he donated the other day so I'm alone now.
"Uh, Ynnah." I looked up at the person who called my name just now and I immediately smiled when I saw Calisse.
She slyly smiled at me while she look so hesitant.
"Hello, do you need anything?" I asked when I saw the cleaning carts she was carrying.
I noticed how she hardly gripped the carts handle.
"I would ask you to help me, if it's okay?" she asked as if she were ashamed of me to ask for help.
I just smiled at her actions. This girl is very a shy type of person.
"Sure, what can I help you with?" I stood up straight as I finished putting my belongings inside my bag.
"Can you help me carry the two boxes?" she pointed the two boxes that were already outside the room. "Don't worry, what inside of those two boxes are just rags, it's light to carry while I'll take this cart. I would have just taken them back to the storage room but I couldn't push the cart while lifting two boxes of rags."
"Sure! All right, push that cart of yours. I'll be the one to lift the two boxes," she nodded at what I said before pushing the cart out of the room while I followed her out.
When I came out of the door, I immediately took the two boxes before walking and following Calisse.
"Eros and you are so close already, yeah?" she suddenly said reason to turn my gaze at her direction.
"Uh, yeah I guess? Why?"
"It's nothing," she smiled before looking at me for a moment before continuing to walk pushing the cart. "I just noticed that you've become closer to each other since you went back to school after what happened to you. You used to almost drive him away from you," she added which is the whole truth.
I bit my lower lip at that realization.
Yeah, she's right. I kept on driving him away because of the creepy feelings I have whenever he's around. I don't really want him near me before because everytime we're together, I felt something strange.
But now, everything turns upside down. I can't even go out all by myself when he's not with me.
"Well, yeah." I just said as I continue from walking.
As we walked I couldn't help but feel like something was wrong.
I don't know but it looks like someone is watching us. I turned to Calisse but she didn't seem to feel any different.
Maybe I'm just imagining it.
I just ignored the strange feeling I was feeling and continued walking. When we arrived at the storage room, we immediately entered the dark room that full of cleaning materials. It was getting dark because it was getting late. 5:30 pm is the end of our last period so we will definitely spend the night on our way home.
When we entered the storage room, I immediately turned to her to ask if where I should put the boxes I was carrying.
"Where should I put these two boxes?" I asked her as she turned in my direction and pointed to the end of the storage room where the other boxes containing the rags were.
"Just put it there, thank you," she replied and I smiled.
"You're welcome." I said before walking over to the far end of the storage room and unloading the two boxes I was carrying.
As I was arranging the two boxes there was again the strange feeling I had been feeling earlier on the hallway.
There seems to be something really wrong. I straightened up and was about to approach Calisse when I turned around, she was already behind me and I almost jumped in great surprise.
"Calisse, you startled me!" I trailed off as I placed my hand on my chest and took a heavy breath.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startled you," she apologetically said which made em nodded and took another deep breath to calm my heart from beating so fast.
"It's okay, what are you doing behind my back. "I asked which made her shook her head repeatedly.
"N-nothing, I'll take you away," he stammered, frowning at me.
"Is that so, let's go. It's getting late, maybe Eros is looking for me," I said and walked away a little earlier.
I was about to leave the storage room when Calisse grabbed me by the arm causing me to stop coming out and face her wonderingly.
"Calisse, why-"
"I'm sorry, Ynnah," she said and at the same time she hit me a hard object on my neck causing me to sink to the floor. "But not sorry."
The last words I heard from her before I lost conscious.

Everything was like a déjá vu when I woke up in an abandoned place, but the only difference was that it was not a room but a very old arena. A place where only the light of the full moon is lit. I also feel different. And it's something I am very familiar with.
This can't be happening ...
I tried to move but noticed that I was floating in the air and had both my hands and feet tied.
I also feel the pain of my body. I could also feel the pain from my nape. I could feel my wrists and ankles slowly getting numb. My head also hurt from being hit on me earlier. How long have I been tied up?
Wait, what's happening? What happened? Why am I ended up here?
What am I doing here?
Don't tell me...
Please don't tell me he got me? Oh my gosh! H-how?

"Calisse, why-"
"I'm sorry, Ynnah," she said and at the same time she hit me a hard object on my neck causing me to sink to the floor. "But not sorry."

My eyes widened at the realization.
Is it Calisse who did this to me? But why?
Why is she doing this? What have I done to make her do this thing to me?

"Eros and you are so close already, yeah?" she suddenly said reason to turn my gaze at her direction.
"Uh, yeah I guess? Why?"
"It's nothing," she smiled before looking at me for a moment before continuing to walk pushing the cart. "I just noticed that you've become closer to each other since you went back to school after what happened to you. You used to almost drive him away from you," she added which is the whole truth.

Is it because of me and Eros being so close to each other than before?
Is she jealous?
"Oh, you're awake."
My eyes widened in shock. I know very well who's in this same arena with me. I will never forget that voice.
The same man of my dreams. The rejected Angel who wanted to kill me.
The brother of Eros.
"Eron." I whispered because of my weakness.
I saw how the side of his lips tilted up.
"You still remember me," he said in a teasing voice. "Well, it's nice to finally meet you, Francine."
Is this the beginning of his revenge? Is this the time I dread?
How I wished Eros won't come to save me.
Please...
