Nighttime finally set in. Mr Roland and the Constables were still in search, using their phones flashlights to aid in vision as they trod on shrubs to go over to another side. They found themselves on a broad bare land. "I think we should go back because this place leads to no specific place", suggested a Constable. Another Constable's stomach began to grumble because he was becoming hungry. "How will I have something to eat?", he thought to himself. Almost immediately, a mango fruit dropped right in front of him. He stared at it in surprise, feeling his prayers had been answered. "I'll use this one to endure the hunger a little longer", he said inwardly, feeling happy. He bent to pick up the fruit. Mr Roland turned behind and saw him holding the fruit which made him raise alarm. "Drop that fruit at once", he ordered the Constable. "I'm very hungry Sir", the Constable stammered. "Look up and show me the tree it fell from", Mr Roland stared at him at him flatly while folding his hands. The Constable did look up but was shocked to see no tree. He then realized they were on a bare land at the moment, with not even shrubs on it. Out of fright, he quickly dropped the fruit and joined the rest. "I totally forgot we were in the land of black magic", he said and swallowed dryly. Before they knew it, the mango fruit began to open up as it shook violently. They were completely dumbfounded by what they were seeing. They then saw ants marching out of it at a fast pace. "Run!", Mr Roland gasped out. They all ran away for their lives being chased after hot on heels by ants. They met a bush track leading into the thick forest again, ground covered with shrubs and ran into it. The Constable who trailed behind the rest glimpsed behind him and saw how the ants were getting close to him which made him step up his speed to be far away from them as much as possible. The bush track ended with a large tree trunk laid across it. They went over it and jumped down to a wider path. Mr Roland was the second to jump. Unfortunately for the last Constable who was being chased after closely by the large army of ants, he kicked his right foot against a small branch when he was about to jump down the tree trunk and landed awkwardly with his side on the ground. He yelled in severe pain which caught the attention of the rest. Before one could even make a move to help him, the large army of ants were already covering him up from the feet to the head. "Simon!!", a Constable cried out his name and moved to go help him out but was held tight by another Constable to prevent him from going. "Don't go! You'll get consumed too!", he said with difficulty, not giving in to his colleague's resistance. Everybody felt really bad, including him, especially as they could hear their colleague yelling for their help and they could not go to help because they knew they would also be devoured. In no time, the ants had consumed Simon to nothing. They began to approach the rest. "Let's get out of here!", yelled Mr Roland in agony. The Constables reluctantly fled for their lives. The ants went after them. * * * Some of the students were outside at night to have fun. They were in various groups with friends, either playing a game or having a fun discussion with each other. Some of the older students, including Ben and Tricia were helping out the farmers in preparing what they were to eat. Mark was among the very few that remained indoors. He was in a room chatting with some friends on social media. Two of his mates were also in the room, going about their own businesses. A group of some JS2 students outside, had a boy who was making the rest burst out in laughter from time to time with a funny story of his. He excused himself, telling everyone he wanted to pee and got up. They watched him go pee and he stood somewhere not too faraway from them to pee. "Please go pee somewhere else where we won't see you", a girl gawked at him. "But I'm backing you guys", he argued. "Please go pee somewhere else", another girl playfully demanded. The boy sighed and headed for the side of the building. "Not just in the mood for argument", he mumbled. He got to the side of the building, welcomed by a fairly violent wind. He peed at once and turned to go when he met Father Christmas standing right behind him. He screamed at the top of his voice and wanted running away but was quickly gripped tightly at the neck so he could not go anywhere. "They can never hear you and you're heading nowhere", muttered Father Christmas with an evil smirk. The boy's neck was grappled with so tightly that he could not even utter a word. Father Christmas took him down the sloping cliff into the woods. Meanwhile, Dominic and Donald returned from their journey but were anxious as they did not find anyone. They met Tricia who was taking some spices with her to the kitchen. "You guys found no one?", asked Tricia in surprise. "Absolutely no one! Hope they're safe", Dominic joined his palms in prayer and looked up to God. The farmers left the kitchen and joined them. "Tricia time us you both went to find your fellow police officers. What then happened?", asked the man, expressing his unhappiness. "We found no one", replied Mr Donald, "We're assuming either they haven't yet got there or they're in search for us all over the forest", he said. Meanwhile, two JS2 boys went to check up on their friend who left them to go pee beside the building. They were confused and horrified when they could not find him. "Let's go report to the farmers", said one of them. They hurriedly went to inform the farmers. As they passed their friends saying nothing to them, they all got up in alert, watching to see if anything strange was coming after them before they would run for their lives. The two boys interrupted the farmers conversation with Dominic, Mr Donald and Tricia. The terrified expression on their faces got everyone's attention. Grace, Tricia's classmate went out of the kitchen and took the spices from Tricia. "We'd been waiting for you for so long", she said and walked straight away back to the kitchen. "What's going on?", asked the woman. "A friend of ours went beside the building to urinate but now he's missing", one of them informed everyone. They were all astonished. "Where did he head to? Tricia said the farmers promised her no sort of black magic would hunt them down here. I had a feeling not to trust in that promise after what I read but still ignored it", Dominic thought deeply to himself. "That's not possible"uttered the man, "Unless he's hiding from everyone", he stressed out. "Let's go find him", urged Mr Donald, "You fellers stay here put and try not to panic", he advised the boys. The rest went to look for the boy, including Tricia, beside the building. As they walked past the students in a hurry, they became nervous, especially the group of JS2 students who were with the boy. "I hope nothing happened to Moses", mumbled a girl in fright. They went down the cliff gradually in search for the boy. "Are you thinking what I'm talking?", Dominic whispered to Tricia. "What's on your mind?", she whispered in return. "Father Christmas!", he squeaked. "What about the boy that went behind and not down here to pee", Mr Donald gestured for the couple. "And we never bothered checking there", said the man. All of a sudden, someone fell on Tricia and she fell also flat to the ground. Dominic quickly shone his flashlight on them and they all spotted the dead boy lying beside Tricia who then got up. "What dropped on...", she turned and saw the dead boy and screamed at the top of her voice, running to Dominic's and hugging him tightly by the side. She could clearly recognize the corpse at once. "That's one of them", the woman managed to mutter out something. She was completely dreaded with fear. "Oh my goodness!", exclaimed her husband. Everyone stood still in total shock. Tricia cried silently as she watched the body.
