Chapter 10 Destroyed Purple Energy

Ranaliantra is standing in front of a castle, there she's grimacing while looking downward; her eyes are showing low violet light.
"How come?!" Ranaliantra grits her teeth, "I can't believe that happened, Tobias!'
Tobias remains sitting beside Alamia who's turned to stone.
Tobias yells, "I didn't mean this to happen! I was trying my best to prevent her from turning to a stone."
Ranaliantra inhales deeply and says, "Well, it already happened. I'll tell Hemetus about what happened."
A hand settles on her shoulder but Ranaliantra catches the hand. She turns around as she tightens her grip on the hand, and sees a young man who's taller than her, and his red eyes are staring down at her.
"Do that again and I'll cut your hand," she told him with visible anger in her violet dimming eyes.
"Relax," he tells her, "I was about to tell you that his majesty is waiting for your appearance.
"I apologize for crossing your comfort line."
Ranaliantra let go of his hand but she remains staring straight into his eyes. Hence, she looks away from him and walks across him.
"Damn!" he turns around and looks at her, "I like her already. Well, I better execute the main plan because I don't want Shremiah to be mad at me."
Ranaliantra arrives in front of the king's throne and she's standing beside Hemetus and Hackilion who are kneeling in front of the king and queen.
Hemetus looks at Ranaliantra, and he tells her. "Hey! Kneel! It's the king we're facing."
Ranaliantra blinks and raises her foot and strikes the ground causing multiple knights to point their swords at her.
"I bow to no one," she proclaims, "I respect no ruler because I am the ruler of my world."
"You speak so highly in front of the majesty himself!" an old man comes out from one of the doors while fixing his large shirt, "you shall be beheaded–!"
"Try me," a violet aura transpires around her whole figure, "I dare all of you to swing your sword to my head, and I shall grant this castle its destruction."
Ranaliantra looks at the old man while the old man begins to step backward. The old man is stepping backward until his back hits a wall causing him to shiver.
"G-Get out of this castle!" he points his index finger at her, "you're a monster!"
Ranaliantra seriously tells him. "Call me with any names you like because you will not be able to do that after I cut your tongue."
"All of you, calm down, please," a man spoke.
Ranaliantra moves her eyes toward him whilst the old man steps away from the wall as the king remains sitting on the throne; his eyes are fixated forward.
Hackilion moves his eyes to the king while Hemetus shifts his eyes to where Ranalinatra is looking at.
"Who is he," Hemetus wondered.
"I am Lars, 1st born and prince of Crefta Village," Lars looks at Ranaliantra, "is there a problem?"
"Why do you care?" Ranaliantra grimaced at him.
"Oh, don't be mad, will you?" Lars moves his eyes toward the old man, "You! Make our guests the finest tea!"
"Y-Yes, your majesty!" the old man scrambled toward a door; opened it, and walked inward.
"Please, stop kneeling," the king gestured for them to stand up.
Hemetus and Hackilion stand up while Ranaliantra steps close to the king and she looks into his eyes.
"I won't treat you like what they're treating you always," Ranaliantra tells him, "but on the other hand, we have something serious to tell you."
"Continue," the king replied.
Ranaliantra's eyes turn violet and she extends her hand toward the king's forehead but a hand grabs her hand.
Ranaliantra looks aside and sees Lars glaring at her.
"I don't like what you're doing," Lars swings her hand away from the king, "if the king dies then I'll kill you by myself."
Ranaliantra immediately touches the king's forehead but a foot strikes her waist, and she is sent rolling on the ground but she immediately recovers.
She narrows her eyes while staring at Lars who's standing near her.
"You kicked me," Ranaliantra looks calmly at him, "how come you travel from there to here in such a fast way?"
"A prince will never reveal his secret to low creatures like you," Lars chuckled.
"Call me low but without your prestige, you're lower than me," Ranaliantra told him.
Lars' hands begin to close slowly as his dark eyes turn red bit by bit whilst Ranaliantra remains calm and steady while looking at him.
"Here's the tea!" the old man stepped out of the kitchen.
Later on, inside a wide room, Ranaliantra, Hemetus, and Hackilion are sitting on a chair, and in front of them, the king and Lars are sitting on wooden chairs that are placed near the three individuals.
The king put down his wooden cup on the wooden table in front of him. "So, you're telling me that this Alamia saw a vision regarding nagbabagane coming out of an entrance?"
Hemetus nods. "Yes, and we know that a boy named Kukira is the one who did that.
"It's not a dream rather a prophecy of destruction that will be caused by nagbabagane."
The king rubs his chin while looking at his emptied wooden cup, and then he speaks, "I believe that nagbabagane are sealed to keep them away from using humans as a key to their evolution.
"I was shocked to know from Lyn that she foresaw a nagbabagane absorbing the souls of the humans it caught."
Ranaliantra shifts her eyes toward the king and she pretends to cough, causing the king to look at her.
She tells him. "I would like to suggest hundreds of knights go with us back to our cabin, there we can escort Kukira to this castle."
Lars smiles softly. "Well, that's a good plan. As the firstborn, I grant them to have hundreds of knights with them."
The king closes his eyes and hums, after a brief minute of humming, he opens his eyes and looks over at his son. "Lyn managed to bring half of our knights with her, so if we'll grant them hundreds of our knights then we might put the safety of our village at risk."
Ranaliantra looks beside her and sees Hackilion sipping tea from the wooden cup, and then she looks to her other side and sees Hemetus doing the same on the wooden cup.
"What is this tea?" Ranaliantra sipped some of the tea.
"It's better if you don't know," Lars' red eyes glow brightly, "I've been sick of hiding this!"
Ranaliantra, the king, Hemetus, and Hackilion's eyes turn dark red, therefore, they all fall on the ground and some of them drop on the wooden table.
Lars arises and speaks, "I'm sorry but I'm not your son for I am Soliven, the fourth high-ranking nagbabagane."
His skin begins to melt and his dark skin is exposed; steams are occurring from the red lines on his skin. He raises his hand and snaps his fingers, thereupon, all people in the village begin to fall to the ground; their eyes turned into dark red.
"Your son," he steps closer to the king, "he died because I ate him. Too bad, you're not capable of ordering your knights because all of them are under my control."
The king, together with Hemetus, Hackilion, and Ranaliantra are laying on the ground with their eyes which are presently dark red.
Soliven begins to walk toward the door but a purple energy wall appears in front of him.
"I see," Soliven turns around, "how come you were able to withstand my ability?"
Ranaliantra's dark red eyes are now purple and glowing. "It's none of your business."
"You intend to open the gates of nagbabagane," Ranaliantra points his index finger at him, "waging war against this world? I've hated this world but I had no choice but to protect it."
"Because I was born to slaughter the likes of you," Ranaliantra moves her finger down and a large purple aura appears around her, "I will do anything to stop you."
Everything around them begins to melt and then Hemetus and Hackilion arise whilst Ranaliantra looks at one of them only to be hit by a large fireball.
The smoke disappears and not even Ranaliantra or her purple aura can be seen.
Soliven smiles widely. "It seems that her heart is soft when it comes to her comrade, looks like I got the upper hand."
The purple energy surrounding the whole castle begins to disappear. Ranaliantra appears outside the castle, and the purple aura around her vanishes.
Ranaliantra falls to her knees and her thighs are shaking. The young man from earlier runs toward her.
He halts beside her and kneels. "Hey, what's happening?"
"Why do you care?" Ranaliantra is inhaling and exhaling at a fast pace, "go away before I kill you."
Another young man stops running near the two, and he says, "Kofta, I think she used too much of her power causing her energy to drain."
"Frek, when did you arrive?" Kofta turned around and saw Frek walking towards them.
Kofta replies calmly. "Right from the moment that idiot and her friends triggered the threat to do his plan."
"The people in this village are now under his possession?" Frek looks at Ranaliantra, "but what about you, why aren't you affected by his ability?"
"The truth is," Ranaliantra remains looking downward, "This power of mine which is flowing in my veins can't be affected by any mind-controlling abilities."
Shremiah stepped toward the left side of Ranaliantra, and he brings out his sword, and then swings it upward; the blade of the sword releases lightning which cuts the incoming fireball in half.
Ranaliantra looks beside her and she looks up and sees Hemetus floating while covered in flames.
"D-Don't hurt him," Ranaliantra told Shremiah.
Shremiah turns slightly beside him and replies calmly. "You can't do anything to bring him back. Once a creature is under Lars' impersonator's technique there's no other way but to slaughter that creature."
Ranaliantra pushes herself up until he's standing on his feet, henceforth, she decides to walk forward whilst Shremiah is observing her.
She says, "He's my comrade, he'll never lay even a finger at me."
Hemetus remains gazing down at her while Ranaliantra stops walking.
She says, "I'll break you out of Soliven's control."
Hemetus begins to smile softly; he opens his lip and begins to speak but his voice is different. "Do you think that I, Soliven, will let you take my tool? You're lucky if I do that."
"You piece of!" Ranaliantra's eyes begin to turn purple as they shine, "let him go or I'll cut your throat!"
Purple aura appears once again around Ranaliantra, and then multiple gigantic purple energy towers emerge around the village.
She begins to float while blood is falling from his nose, and then the light from her shining purple eyes begin to flicker.
Hemetus says, "I don't care, you'll most likely die from the poison that came from the smallest arrow which came from one of my loyal knights."
"What?!" Ranaliantra's purple eyes are turning dull as she begins to cough, "what's happening to me? What did you do!"
The gigantic purple energy towers begin to tremble as they break apart.
"That's it, die!" Hemetus laughs like a madman, "luckily, I knew that you were going to be a threat to my plans so I had to give you a bit of hardship. You need to rest once in your life or better rest for eternity."
Hemetus points his hand at her, and a thick stream of flames emerges from his palm.
The flames reach Ranaliantra but Shremiah travels at lightning speed onwards to her; he embraces her so tight but the flames reach them.
The flames fade away but no Ranaliantra or Shremiah can be seen. Hemetus moves his eyes downward and sees no one, hence, he looks around him and sees no one but the hundreds of structures.
During the interim, Shremiah is carrying Ranaliantra in his arms while running away from the village whilst Kofta is running beside him.
