Lyn remains staring at Revior who's flying away from the battlefield. She moves her hand down and closes it and she clicks her tongue. "Darn it!" Romina turns around and sees Lyn looking down while her face is painted with anger. Meanwhile, Revior tightens his embrace on Escarfra as they land inside a cave somewhere in the forest. The fire covering Revior illuminates their surroundings; there was nothing but spiky rocks, rock formation, and the ground that can be perceived by their eyes. Revior releases his arms from Escarfra, and so, she arises and looks at Revior who's looking at the ceiling while regaining his breath. "Let me heal you," Escarfra steps closer to him and kneels, "how come you were able to turn your back on your comrade?" Revior moves his eyes toward her. "I did it only for the sole purpose of spending my whole life with you, my dearest jewel." Escarfra puts her hands above his dark abdomen. "You used to call me that when I was a kid, and I never got the opportunity to ask you why." Revior raises his other trembling hand and he caresses her cheek. "Because in my eyes, you're the jewel that I can't find in any part of this world or any other realm." An orange-yellow light glows on his abdomen; bright yellow lines emerge from it and it goes all over his other bleeding wounds. "Am I still your precious jewel?" Escarfra moves her eyes toward his red eyes, "after I abandoned you… I have no right to be your jewel." "I won't lie to you, when you left me that hurt my heart," Revior points to his chest while looking up, "but I remain standing in front of the gateway, I stayed there while waiting for you." He puts his hand on her hand. "Even if it takes many years or a millennium I would still wait for you to come back for I love you, my dearest jewel." "Thank you… father." Escarfra nodded. On the battlefield, Lyn is facing Romina and both are staring at each other; radiating a violent atmosphere as the wind gently blows over them. Raindrops fall from the clouds and it soaks both Lyn and Romina. Lyn begins to run toward Romina, and then Romina releases multiple rays from her eyes and they head to Lyn. Lyn grows the pieces of the blade in her hands and combines them into a large disc. While she runs, she swings her large disc and it throws the rays to the nearby trees. Multiple explosions occur one after another after Lyn slaps the rays away from her. Lyn jumps toward Romina, and then Romina's red eyes are glowing but they are slapped by the large disc. Lyn steps closer to Romina and continues to strike her with the large metallic disc. "I can't use fire because it's raining!" Romina speaks to herself, "and she keeps slapping my rays away." Romina grimaces and she catches the large metallic disc but Lyn let go of her weapon. She goes closer to Romina and strikes her chin with two swift kicks. The rain stops as Romina prevents herself from falling to the ground. Her hands release fire which covers her hands, and she looks at Lyn only to get hit by her fist. Romina was taken back by her punch and then catches Lyn's punch. Lyn is frowning as she keeps pulling her burning hand from her flaming hand. "Don't act as if you win so fast," Romina lifts her and throws her aside, "be humble." Lyn arises and swings her hands upward and she immediately jumps backward. Romina steps from side to side and multiple pieces of sharp blades fly across her, but Romina grabs one piece and she crashes it with her flaming hand. "Finally," Romina creates a magma spear at a fast pace, "die." She throws a magma spear toward Lyn, ergo, she keeps creating one magma spear after another after throwing the spear she made. Lyn keeps running away from the magma spear, hence, she grabs one and she flinches as smoke occurs from her burning palm. "Damn!" Lyn decides to scramble toward Romina, "I'll kill all of you! I don't care even if it burns my hand or my eye!" Flames emerge on the ground behind Romina, and the flames turn into 5 gigantic humanoids. "Don't act like you're so tough," Romina points her index finger at Lyn, "just die immediately." The five flaming giants combine into one colossal flaming humanoid. Lyn stops running and with wide eyes, she gazes upon the colossal flaming humanoid and it runs toward her. Lyn grits her teeth and jumps backward only to avoid the gigantic flaming fist from hitting her. Lyn touches the soil, and her eyes start to turn green. A green aura manifests around Lyn's whole body as her short brown hair has green highlights. "I will not step away!" Lyn moved at greater speed toward the colossal flaming humanoid. Romina narrows her eyes as she looks everywhere. "Where is she?!" She looks up as her eyes are widening, there she witnesses a green light emerge from the back of the head of the colossal flaming giant. The colossal flaming giant explodes while Lyn is landing on the ground from a higher level. "Impossible!" Romina roared. Lyn lands on the ground far from Romina. Lyn looks around her and sees multiple trees surrounding her, and then she looks at her hand and closes it. "You left my heart a scar," Lyn closes her hand, "I will make you pay for what you did, Revior! I won't stop until I kill you." Thereupon, she moves in a certain direction at a greater speed while her eyes are filled with resentment. Inside a cave, Revior remains laying on the ground as Escarfra is sitting beside him. "I remember the time when you made us breakfast," Escarfra begins to chuckle, "but it was a pair of burning coal." Revior utters a soft laugh. "You asked for chewable food but I gave you a burning snail." "Yes," Escarfra stops chuckling and she smiles while looking at the scenery in front of the entrance of the cave, "I ate it but it was so spicy, and I was stunned by the thought that you might murder me anytime." Revior laughs and then he was interrupted by repeated coughing and Escarfra turns her attention toward him. "What happened?" Escarfra touches his forehead, "are you sick?" "Silly," Revior giggles while staring at Escarfra, "how can you measure my temperature? I'm a creature made of magma." Multiple fireflies appear around them and they brighten the cave. Revior's eyes are widening as a gentle smile is forming on his lip. He gently holds her hand. "Can you sing me a song?" "Eh? What for?" Escarfra raised her eyebrow. Revior answers calmly. "Your voice is my peace." Escarfra looks away from him and laughs a bit. She gulps and begins to hum to the tune of a song. Revior slowly closes his eyes but he stares at Escarfra and sees her as a child version of her. Revior tells her. "Thank you for being my daughter. I may be a terrible creature but I'm grateful that you love someone as terrible as me." "That song… you sang that to me before you left me all alone," Revior tightens his grasp a bit, "what I truly wanted was to defeat Arak but I'll leave that to you." Escarfra continues to sing as fluids are falling from her eyes down to her chin. Revior begins to close his eyes. "Tell me, did I make you feel cherished all those years that we're together?" "I'm glad," Revior told her. Escarfra nods while singing and Revior smiles as he closes his eyes. His hand slips from her hand as the dimming red lines on his whole body come to a halt. Escarfra stops singing bit by bit, and she begins to cry silently while looking downwards.
