Chapter 46

Taylor's POV...
My lips are shut to silence upon hearing Eleanor's emotional question. The tears in her eyes starts to run down like rain on a gloomy night, breaking my heart more. Like a boomerang, my selfish doings really took a turn in not only hurting my sister, but hurting me as well. It gets harder to stare Eleanor even with a guilty look, when tears also starts to fill my eyes.
"You ruined our sisterhood with your lies," Eleanor states. "But either way, I wish you and Joey the best."
With eyes filled with tears, Eleanor gets up from her seat and storms away, walking upstairs before slamming the door shut. Shock, guilty, and ashame of myself, I stood in the dining room as the tears continue to slide down my eyes. In the end, I ruined everything because of my lies towards my sister. In this case, it felt like the relationship I've been dying to have with Joey didn't really mean anything, when I know that I had lost my twin sister. If I knew being with the guy I love means losing my sister, I wouldn't even thought about going after love if I knew I'll lose the family love I had with Eleanor.
Eleanor's POV...
Upon slamming the door shut, I break down on the floor crying my eyes out. Fighting my tears in front of my Taylor was the hardest thing to do especially when I obviously failed since she already saw me crying. Yet, breaking down in front of that traitor was too much for me. I couldn't believe that my own sister would even dare to do such things to me. She had to lie behind my back because she was dating the guy we both liked, and what made it worse is because she didn't even bother to tell me about it. So her secret relationship with Joey was way more important than my feelings, that she decided to lie to me about it. Hurt and broken, I continue to cry harder as tears keep running down my eyes like waterfalls.
3 days later...
6:30 AM...
"Girls! Hurry up, we're gonna be late," the twins' mom slightly shouts from downstairs, hoping her daughters would hear her voice.
"Coming, Mom," Taylor says as she rushes downstairs with her backpack.
"Where's your sister?" ask the middle age woman as she crosses her arms.
"She'll be here in a second," Taylor says.
Just then, Eleanor walks downstairs with her backpack. The frown that had been on her face since 3 days ago can still be seen clearly. She didn't bother to even glance at Taylor and just walk without a word.
"There you are. Let's go," the girls' mom says.
Without even saying a word, Eleanor just walks away from her sister and heads to the front door. Taylor knew that she is still upset after what happened 3 days ago, and didn't dare to say a word to her despite sleeping in the same room together. She didn't even bother to say a single word to her and would choose to eat lunch alone at school, without her or even Joey. This has made the relationship between the three of them slowly falls a part, since Joey prefers to skip lunch the past few days.
A few minutes later...
At school...
Upon arriving at school, Eleanor storms off to her locker, not bothering to even look at the gazes of the students who are staring at her. Since the video of Taylor and Joey got posted in the group chat, the three of them had been the hot topic at school. To add it, Paige had become more popular as she is known to be the one who both recorded and posted the video on purpose. She had took this chance to use her popularity to try and get Tim's attention, in which he ignored.
Taylor's POV...
It's been three days yet the rumours regarding the video of Joey and I still hasn't even calm down a bit. Every time I walk down the hallway I would see some random girls throw dirty glances at me, while the guys would call out my name and make fun of me, saying that I'm a school star now that my "hot" video got leaked.
"So how is life with that much attention?"
I stop with my steps as I slowly turn around to see the girl with that annoying voice. So she only decided to approach me after 3 days of pretending to be dead. Well, I'm not surprised Tim never really liked her. He predicted her red flags before I could even notice.
"Being a coward I see, that you chose to remain silent."
Fury starts boiling in my head. This girl just can't seem to stop messing with me after she literally exposed the video between me and Joey. I turn around to see the girl, who is none other than Paige herself.
"What do you want, Paige?" I ask in a stern tone.
"Just want to know how the school's biggest attention-seeker is doing," Paige says. "Gosh, Tim would be so disappointed knowing that you would do that with his best friend."
"First of all, Tim and I are not even dating. But second, I'm not surprised why he never noticed you when he confessed to me of his feelings for me," I say in a rather agressive tone, trying to pull out the fury in Paige, cause that's what she tried to do to me.
"Huh, well, he better be thinking twice about his future with you," Paige blurts out.
"Look, Paige. You can't make a guy who doesn't have interest in you like you any other days," I say in stern yet chill tone. "And hating on me won't make him like you anyway."
"You jerk! Ugh, he's gonna regret ever confessing to you," Paige blurts out, again in fury. Is it just me or is she starting to sound more stupid?
"Whatever. Just to let you know, hating on me won't make you a better person," I say as I walk away from the dramatic trouble-maker. Hopefully my last sentence would be enough to shut her damn mouth.
To be continue...
