Chapter 10

"Hey...what you did back there don't mull yourself too much over it" Mr. Klein started
"I would have done the same if I were in your shoes" he trails off, giving a reassuring smile.
"...Okay..."
Those words meant a lot to Hannah. Perhaps....a little too much.

They didn't want to enter looking all roughed up so they tried as much as they could to get rid of the blood that was on them
However, a certain howling could be heard from nearby forcing them to stop whatever they were doing and having them rush back into the place.
"Hello? We're back! And we're stacked up!" Mr. Klein called out.
Hannah went over to one of the chairs and sat down, completely slumping into the chair until she noticed the leftover blood stains on her hand. She walked into a washroom while Mr. Klein went in and out of a few rooms.
"Judy? Judy!" Shouting can be heard from outside the washroom Hannah. She immediately rushed out and went over to him, wanting to know the cause of his distress.
Upon entering a room where Judy and Noah was last seen, the whole place looked as if it was turned upside down.
"What the hell happened in here" Hannah stated, her question being answered almost instantly when she saw the content of a letter in Mr. Klein's hands.
"What the hell?!" The contents infuriated her.
"Those bastards must be nearby" Mr. Klein stormed out of the room grabbing the gun he had left on the table earlier.
"Wait! Mr. Klein!" Hannah reached out to him, able to stop him right before he left.
"Judy..." Mr. Klein uttered, as he slumped down onto the floor his face buried in his palms.
Hannah at this moment felt helpless, she wasn't one to comfort people and seeing Mr. Klein like this broke her heart. He had gotten up from the floor and went into the room he had been staying in. Meanwhile Hannah went back into the cluttered room, she looked around much more thoroughly this time hoping to find a clue of who could have taken them.
Hannah was so sure it wasn't an attack from the undead because this room was the only room that was a mess compared to the rest and there weren't really any signs of blood or even an undead lingering nearby.
Walking around, Hannah inspected every corner of the room. She spotted a weird piece of paper, surprisingly it was the only one thing that was still intact.
The paper had a bunch of numbers on it, presumably being coordinates of wherever Judy and Noah is heading towards. Hannah wasted no time and turned on the computer in the office that Noah had used days ago. However, it wouldn't even turn on at all.
"It's completely jammed up!" Hannah sighed angrily.
Seeing as she couldn't locate the place herself, she debated on whether she should inform Mr. Klein right now or later on. After thinking about it for awhile more, she decided it was better to let him know immediately.

Mr. Klein was adamant on leaving for the coordinates immediately as he knew roughly where they lead to. Hannah had to talk to him multiple times to stop him from storming out with no plan in mind and they weren't really as prepared to leave the security office.
They tried putting a plan together and decided to deal with whatever that comes their way later. Hannah suggested it was best to leave tomorrow morning as the undead would be less active which gives them a better advantage.
They got up early, none of them had spoken to each other yet. They finished their final preparations and headed out on their way towards the coordinates.
However, before they had fully left the apartment building Mr. Klein stopped Hannah. Hannah was confused and turned around facing him about to ask him why he had stopped her.
"You don't have to come with me Hannah" He said slowly, he didn't want to expose her to more danger outside than they already are.
"What do you mean?"
"The office is much safer and I don't want to be risking your safety either" He replied then continued
"I already lost one I can't lose you either" He tried giving her small smile but it ended up becoming a sad one, making Hannah feel at loss for words.
It's been a long time since someone had looked out for her and she didn't know what to say but having to stay behind while someone who had been close to her venture out in the open with all these undead didn't sit right with her.
She also knows if it were her who had been missing he would undoubtedly come look for her and she would gladly do the same for them. She decided she was going to follow and help find Judy as well as Noah and beside two is better than one.
"If I don't come then who's going to be doing all the dangerous stunts?" Hannah joked causing Mr. Klein's eyes to widen so much that it would have almost popped out of his face.
"You're really coming?" Mr. Klein was feeling a little bit relieved inside. He wasn't sure if he could make it on his own and he knows that he isn't good with handling himself well especially after losing his wife.
"Yes" She curtly replied as she skipped forwards.
"Although.....you didn't mean anything when you said dangerous stunts....right?!" He whispered loudly, slowly panicking inside. The idea of her jumping from before haunting his mind.
Hearing no answer from Hannah he had a feeling he had to watch her closely before she does something even more insane. Mr. Klein thought of Hannah like a second version of Judy, such daredevils.

They had been walking for a few hours now, passing through each street and witnessing how run down the whole place was. There were signs around leading to multiple ways and some houses had a blue marking on them. Seeing the marks caused them to become even more cautious as it could be an organized group surviving.
They laid low, traversing behind all the vehicles while checking to see for any people who might be walking around as well.
As they moved forward, a gunshot can be heard to their right. A group of people were surrounded by the undead.
A man wearing a hat was fending them off with a gun and it seems that the shot from just now was his last ever bullet.
They began climbing on top of the school bus hoping to create more distance between them and the undead.
A few managed to get one securing their safety however the man with the gun was completely cornered when another undead appeared from the bus nearly biting him from the back.
Mr. Klein wanted to help him and moved forward only to be stopped by Hannah. She had told him to wait, the man before them seemed fully capable of taking a few undead on.
Hannah was aware of this because his hat had a familiar emblem on it.
