"That was a good call" Judas said, wiping the sweat off of his forehead. They slowly dragged the body outside with Hannah checking if the coast is clear. The mutant was still close by but they were still pretty well hidden. "We need to dump him somewhere far away from here. Maybe it'll help divert attention from us" He suggested, dragging the body towards a forest nearby. Hannah looked around holding the bat in her hand, eeadying herself incase a zombie decided to jump them. It all went on smoothly and the smell of blood attracted a few zombies towars them. They knew if they kept on going they would be chased after. "We should go, this should be far enough" Judas dusted of his palms on his jacket. "Let's go" Hannah said, making her way back to the petrol station. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "We should head back to the shelter" Eva stated. A few days have passed ever since they came to the station. They were slowly running out of supplies and the station wasn't exactly safe with holes everywhere. Hannah wasn't really sure about this idea as there is a mutant outside that literally teared the people at the shelter apart. "I'm not sure, however we do have to leave this place one way or another. That monster is way too close to us" Judas announced. "Eva is right we do have to go back there. Who knows who could still be alive" Hannah said Judas and Eva knew she wanted to find Mr. Klein once they get back and they both had no choice but to agree with her. Eva and Judas too, had some important things left behind in the shelter which they hope they would be able to retrieve. "Okay then let's prepare ourselves" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ "Are you okay" Hannah questioned Eva. Her hands were trembling until the boy hold her hand. "I um yes" Eva replied, not fully focused on her surroundings. Hannah made a mental note to keep her eye on Eva and the boy just incase something bad happens. "Well, I hope you're ready. It's time for us to make a move" Judas announced, holding onto his gun, leading the rest of them. They moved with haste, slowing down wouldn't do them any good. The mutant's growlings can be heard nearby but it wasnt exactly at the shelter which was good. "Okay stick together until we're 100% sure it's completely safe" They nodded and Judas continued walking through the shelter. They spotted some bodies on the floor. Judas prayed for them silently while Eva held back her tears of seeing them so torn apart. Hannah saw that the boy is lagging behind, terrified of seeing all the dead bodies. She proceeded to head his way and carry him on one arm. The boy snuggled into her, closing his eyes, not wanting to see it anymore. "It seems like no one's here. They must have run to safety already" Judas continued "If there's anything you would like to get, please do it now as we- we won't come back after this" Judas announced as he went to his room. Eva also had went to her room, Hannah offered to follow her just as a lookout but she said she would be alright alone and that she doesn't have to worry. "Well then, is there anything you would like to get?" Hannah asked the boy in her arms. "My....my teddy" he pointed towards a direction and Hannah found herself in a broken down room It was hard to navigate through the place but she managed to get the teddy. As she was about to move back a small part of the ceiling cracked and fell down on her. Se shielded the boy with her body and managed to squeeze out of the debris. "So not cool" she muttered under her breath, feeling the pain on her back. Judas who heard the sudden thump went to check out the source and saw a dishelved Hannah holding the boy. "You seem to get yourself into trouble everytime Hannah" Judas chuckled and took the boy from her holding onto him. "It hurts" Hannah played along. Judas laughed and messed with Hannah's hair before they all went towards Eva's room. Eva was sitting on her bed, looking at the pictures of her with her dad on vacation few years ago. Judas who was holding the boy nudged Hannah to go and talk to her. Hannah protested, saying she wasn't goid at comforting people at all. ~ ~ ~ ~ "Uh....uhm please don't be sad?" Hannah said, sounding more like a question than a statement. Eva looked at her with a look saying 'Are you serious'. Hannah shrugged off and continued trying her best to comfort her. A few moments later Eva knew that they couldn't stay here any longer. And she wanted to put a stop at Hannah's attempt in comforting her. It was like telling a lame joke but Eva appreciates her for trying. They made their way back to Judas and finally left the place heading towards the direction Mr. Klein had presumably run towards according to what Judas said. "We'll keep moving in this direction and we should be able to run into some of our group" He said. "Wait hold on" Hannah said, stopping them all from moving forward "What's wrong?" Judas inquired, curious. "If Mr. Klein still is alive, then they may be moving towards the coordinates!" Hannah announced "Coordinates....? What coordinates is this?" Eva asked. "Before we came here, a friend of ours were taken as well as Mr. Klein's daughter Judy and all they left were coordinates" Hannah explained. After some time of thinking and arguments back and forth they all decided it was best to follow this coordinates as it would at least give them hope of where to search. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ They walked far, continuously stopping to seek shelter in the night. As they were making their way over to the coordinates they passed by a safe zone. A safe zone that had people in it. "Hold on, let me talk to them. Hide somewhere and remember what I told you guys before? Stick to it" Judas went over to the front gate of the safe zone alerting the people who were on lookout. "Stop right there!" A guard called out, pointing his gun right at his head. Judas held his gun in the air and dropped it on the ground, showing that he was not a hostile. A small door opened up and a guard as well as another person walked out, heading for him. "Who are you" the man asked, his voice dripping with a sense of superiority. "My name is Judas. I'm from a group of survivors. We were attacked by a mutant and were forced to split up" Judas replied The man in front nodded and asked what he wanted from him. "I wanted to know if any of them could be in there right now" Judas asked The man thought about it for awhile before opening the big gate. "You must have travelled far, come in and I'll see what I ccan do to help" he said gesturing to come inside. "Uhm before that, I hope you don't mind if they tag along? They are with me" Judas pointed towards Hannah's direction. The man seemed surprised to know that there was more but nodded nonetheless. They all entered the safe zone and the gates closed behind them.
