First thing on the list is getting to Mr. Klein and his family. He lives quite a few floors above Hannah's place. It should be a piece of cake for her. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ No, it was not. Hannah had not even left her floor as the elevators were guarded by those undeads. Hannah headed for the stairs instead, hoping there would be none of them there. The staircase was eerily quiet as if it had not been affected by the whole outbreak. Hannah ascended the stairs, slowly making her way up and trying to not cause any noise. The staircase was really clean, not even a speck of blood can be found. *BANG* *CRASH* As Hannah passed by the 5th floor, a loud crash can be heard from the 6th floor, which is exactly where she was supposed to head to. She looked around for anything that could be used as self defense and saw a fire extinguisher nearby. She grabbed it and unlocked the safety hook as she stealthily made way towards the door leading to the hallway. She pushed the door open only to see an injured man on the ground tring to keep one of the undead away from him. Hannah quickly scanned over the man's body, checking for any visible bite marks but there was none although his left arm was missing and blood was oozing out of that area. "Miss! Please....please help me!" He was still holding the undead off unable to reach out to anything around him as he would have to lose his grip on it. Hannah sprayed the fire extinguisher towards the undead, giving the man a few seconds to shove it backwards. He then grabbed a bicycle pump that was nearby and started hitting the undead until it's brains were visible to the eye. "Y-you can stop now. I-It's already dead" Hannah was taken aback by the man's sudden violence towards the undead. She knows it's the only way to survive but witnessing such violence first hand is really gut wrenching. "I apologise....it's just these things takes.....really long to die" The man said as he huffed, trying to catch a breath. They both stood there in silent for a few minutes and his breathing began slowing down. He then turned to look at Hannah with a slight smile on his face. "Thank you for helping me. The group I was in ran as soon as they saw this bastard" He kicked the undead that tried to bite him. "Y-you were...with a group? There's people who are still alive?" Hannah questioned, ignoring the fact that his kick has caused a few more pf the undead's blood to splatter everywhere. "Yes. There's even a few safe zones and also those who prefer surviving on their own" Hannah and the man made their way to one of the room where the man and his group has taken shelter for the previous night. They talked for a few minutes and got to know each other better. Hannah got to know the mysterious man's name which is Noah. Noah had travelled from another country and had just been here for 2 days before this whole ordeal went down. "What about you? Surely you weren't held hostage by someone" Noah laughed. "What...makes you say that?" Hannah was going restless. She somehow gets the feeling of wanting to run away from him. "Well....for starters, you looked way too suprise seeing an undead....even this-" He gestured towards his left arm. "Can't I just say I'm not used to seeing this much blood" Hannah insisted. She doesn't want to let him know that she has been asleep this whole time. "So..where are you headed? A safe zone?" Noah questioned, raising his eyebrow as he put down his bottle of water. "A friend's place" Hannah curtly answered, looking straight into his eyes with a bored expression. "Mind if I....tag along?" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Hannah and Noah made their way towards Mr. Klein's apartment. They had encountered one undead along the way which Noah gladly took down. The two had their arms and legs wrapped up with cardboard and other materials that could be thick enough to protect them from being biten. Noah gave her a makeshift spear that would help her when she needs it. He is also gathering some materials along the way. "How far are we from your friend's house" Noah was getting anxious of staying outside for too long. Right after he uttered those words, Hannah came to a stop. She stood right in front of Mr. Klein's house. She wasn't sure whether she should knock or call out to them and see who would come get the door. Hannah was lost in thought that she didn't realize Noah's quick movements. *BAM* Noah had busted down the door and Hannah stood there with her mouth agape. Clearly she had not thought of busting the door down well it happened in the end didn't it? "Helloooo......" Noah called out, lengthening the ooo sound making it sound like som sort of ryhme.
