Chapter 4

"I can't believe it" Hannah muttered, there were blood stains along the wall and on the floor.
The stains on the floor indicates that someone or something had been dragged around from one place to another.
"That's....that's just horrendous" Noah examined the wall, directing his fingers along the blood stained wall, inches away from it.
Hannah paced around the room, searching every inch and corner. She even tried calling out to see if one of them would just come out from a hiding place safe and sound.
Noah went into what looked like Mr. Klein and Madeleine's bedroom. Hannah on the other hand was reminiscing the past.
Her fingers skimmed a photo frame that had Mr. Klein's family as well as her.

"Come on Hannah! We're gonna take a picture!" A young girls voice boomed throughout the room, dragging Hannah by the hand.
"Wait!- Judy! I don't think I should-"
"Mommy! Daddy! Hannah doesn't want to take pictures!"
This caused both Mr. Klein and Madeleine to leave their focus from the camera set up and gaze towards Hannah and Judy.
Mr. Klein and Madeleine then proceed to look at each other as if communicating with their eyes. In just a few moments they were smilling and dragged Hannah towards the camera as well.
"Wha- Mr. Klein! I really don't think I should-" Hannah was trying her best to release herself from their grips.
"Don't syress it Hannah. You're always welcome in our family. Heck your officially part of our family!" Mr. Klein gushed, getting us all in position.
"I- Thank you...." Hannah hates to admit it but hearing those words made her feel all giddy inside. She was happy that she was not just a friend to them but a family.
As for Hannah, she too wants to be a part of their family.
"Now smile!"

"Time sure flies by....it feels like only yesterday we were all together at the park..." Hannah muttered, a small smile forming on her face.
*CRASH*
"Noah! Is everything all-" Hannah's eyes widen in shock.
A body laid on the grown, drenched in blood from top to bottom. A pool of blood can be seen around the body.
The whole body had been disfigured but Hannah could immediately recognize who it was after seeing a familiar ring on it' finger.
"Madeleine..." Hannah breathed out, her heart thumping ever so loudly causing her to only hear her heartbeat.
Despite that, Hannah still doesn't want to believe that the body laying in front of her belonged to Madeleine. She slowly knelt down towards the body and gently removed the ring from it's finger.
Wiping the blood off from the ring proved Hannah's suspicions. It can't be denied any longer that the lifeless body laying in front of her truly does belong to Madeleine.
Hannah broke down into a quiet sob, she wasn't one to express her feelings so openly. However, having seen someone she holds dear die in such a painful way made her heart ache.
Noah on the other hand shifted uncomfortably in his spot. He went over towards Hannah and awkwardly placed his hand on her back, slowly patting it in an awkward manner.
The memories were flooding through Hannah's mind. The images were so vivid it felt as though she was back in the past rather than being stuck in this damned situation.
Hannah's cries filled the room, cancelling out any sounds coming from outside the room which may soon prove to be a bad idea.
A strange noise began circling around the house. The noise it's making is indecipherable. It sounds like a wailing whale but it also sounded like metal junk hitting each other causing a high frequency noise.
"....hannah" Hannah was to deep in her thoughts to have heard Noah's calling.
".......HANNAH..." This caused her to snap her head towards him. Her face had tears flowing down and she was baffled to gear him call out to her like that.
Then in a hushed tone he said "Whatever you do, don't turn around and slowly walk out of here"
Hannah observed Noah's expression and saw beads of sweat dripping down from his forehead. His eyes were wide and they were staring at something in front of him.
Fear grew in Noah, he wasn't sure what to do in this situation and he was growing weary by the second. His first thought was to run...and he did leaving a confused Hannah behind.
His sudden movement garnered the attention of the organism and it faced directly towards Hannah's direction. it made the screeching noise again, execpt this time it was much more louder than before.
Hannah hurriedly spun her head around and saw it slithering it's way across the wall. It was heading towards her and it was coming in fast. She managed to dodge it's claw and ended up hiding behind the bed.
The whole situation has gone awry, Hannah was now stuck in the room with a mutated undead standing right at the door. Hannah tried looking for a weapom that could help her deal with this situation but all there were was usual household stuff.
Suprisingly enough it hadn't seen her despite her being in a really open spot. It had even glanced at her multiple times but it only seemed to react towards the buzzing noise surrounding Madeleine's body.
Glancing around once more, Hannah thought of an idea. It was risky but at this point she was willing to try anything.
If her suspicions were right, this version of the undead must be blind. If it were to be blind surely it's other senses would be heightened to make up for it.
Hannah slowly pulled the blanket on the bed towards her. She had planned to put it over it's head, hoping it would create an advantage.
With a final pull she had retrieved the blanket however as she pulled the remaining blanket, a pillow that had been resting on it was pulled together as well causing a loud thud when it fell to the floor.
