"There's something we need to warn you about", said Thorben. "That something is wrong with Superhuman? That he's going to kill Antboy?", replied Nicolaus, staring at Karl with contempt. Thorben could now tell Karl and Nicolaus have had this conversation before for sure. "SHC believes creating a super human ourselves is a very big mistake", Karl said to him. "Why won't they believe? Because they've seen a super human not made by them", Dr Nicolaus snapped at him. "I've seen some signs myself. It's not just about what they say", said Karl. "What signs have you seen?", Nicolaus raised his voice, "Concrete signs!", he emphasized, "How did you get such an info from the SHC in the first place? I'm sure it's not in the news", he gazed at them. "We got the info from a close source...a reliable one", Karl responded, staring at Thorben, signalling secretly to him to remain silent. "I think it'd be best for you to reveal your identity to Dr Nicolaus. He may take you more seriously if you let him know you're Antboy", Stuart meanwhile, said to Thorben over the minute earpiece. "Another person to reveal myself to under 24 hours?", he blurted out. Dr Nicolaus turned to him with curiousness. "I'm talking to myself. I do it at times", he defended himself. "Do it now!", instructed Stuart. "The truth is, I have something to reveal to you", said Thorben, "Wanna find out?", asking Nicolaus. "What's that?", Nicolaus asked indifferently. "Here it goes!", He tapped on the device on his chest and the transformation began. In a few seconds, he became Antboy. "I should have guessed so earlier because of you being here with Karl and arguing in favour of the SHC", he muttered in surprise, failing to hide the good impressions he had for the costume. Thorben noticed it. "Thank you so much", he bowed dramatically. "So the SHC is really telling the truth?", he suddenly became sad. Karl and Thorben both became keen to find out the reason behind the sudden sadness. "They believe so", Thorben replied, "But why are you sad though?" "Before they knew something was going on in the first place, I realized trying to make a super human ourselves has left Munich in grave danger", he disclosed. "So you knew this all along?", Karl raised his voice, feeling so annoyed, "I came here before now so we could talk as friends but you insisted nothing wrong was going on." "You didn't come as a friend. You came as a police officer." Thorben interfered before things got out of hand. "So why didn't you want to tell anyone about it?", he asked Nicolaus. Nicolaus hesitated to say anything for a moment. He felt the walls had ears (Superhuman may find out). Thorben and Karl kept on gazing at him as they waited for an answer. Karl though was losing his patience gradually. Nicolaus eventually let them know. "Superhuman abducted my wife. He warned me not to tell anyone and do whatever he wants me to do but here I am risking my wife's life by telling you two", he felt slightly pissed off. "I'm sorry about that and I totally get you. Everyone would do it for someone they love", Thorben sympathized with him. He tapped on the device at his chest and went back to his normal self. "I promise you. We'll get your wife back", Karl patted his shoulder. "Who will bring my wife back to me? Antboy of the SHC?", hr said I'm disbelief, trying hard not to giggle. Thorben did not say a word in response - he felt Nicolaus had a point. He became gloomy. "SHC always has a way. We're well aware of that", said Karl. "Not a super human that's indestructible!", he raised his voice in frustration, "That moment there was a spark was when all this began", he spoke in a lower tone this time. "What spark?", asked Thorben, who seemed a bit confused. "You mean the spark during the experiment?", asked Karl. "Yes", he reluctantly answered, "Whatever happened after was meant to change the person's reasoning anti-normal...if that's even a word. Like good for bad, bad for good", he explained. "Unfortunately, the person in there was a good Officer Ginter and so..." "The result of that incident is a bad Ginter and a Superhuman?", Karl asked rhetorically. Nicolaus looked away. "That's probably the worst combo ever. A bad person that's indestructible", Thorben swallowed dryly. "I need to find out how he made that substance capable of making someone indestructible. You know I've been on that for so long", Mr Stuart requested. "This is not the right time to talk about that", replied Thorben. "You're talking to someone over a micro earpiece", Nicolaus looked at him flatly. Not knowing how to deny it this time, he gave in. "Yes. My Super Creator is on the other side", he said. "Who's a Super Creator?", Nicolaus got curious to know. "Oh", he reacted, "That's what the geniuses that self handedly made us Super Creatures are called." "Oh yeah! I should have known from the name, Super Heroes Creators (SHC)." "He just asked if you'll be willing to go with us", he referred to himself and Karl, "He wants you to tell him everything in detail and promises you your wife's safety...on behalf of SHC." "You guys really think you stand a chance against Superhuman right?", Dr Nicolaus gave a doubting smile. "If we don't do something, he pesters you all your life and some day, may terrorize this city", said Karl. "In conclusion, an action must be taken. So what do you think?", Thorben asked him. Dr Nicolaus gave everything a really long thought. * * * "Why I didn't raise an alarm after that unfortunate incident was because we all expected him to become negatively minded immediately and start attacking everyone but it didn't happen. We then felt the 1% possibility was playing out in the end - the possibility of that incident not affecting him negatively. But with whatever that's going on at the moment, our assumptions were wrong", Dr Nicolaus narrated the event to Thorben and his Super Creator and Karl. "That's so unfortunate", remarked Stuart as he sat down close to Karl. Karl still feeling a bit frightened by the gigantic ant changed his position. "So you're still scared?", Thorben playfully raised his eyebrows at him. "Tell me you weren't the first time you met a gigantic talking ant", Karl snapped at him. "Of course he was scared", Stuart replied before Thorben could say a word. "How long have you been in Munich living under cover?", questioned Dr Nicolaus. "For a couple of years. I don't go out on my own, I go out in a box if I eventually want to leave my home", he referred to his personal lab, "I never get out of the box when outside this building. I have people who carry me in the box outside", he replied. "Ginter asked you for EasyFire, using your wife as a leverage to force you to do things against your will. Is there anything new he's asking from you currently?", Lieutenant Karl questioned him. "Well...at the moment he told me to wait until he comes up with a new plan", he answered. "If we can just find out where he kept your wife and save her, he'll not be able to threaten you any longer", Thorben hinted. "It's not that simple", he responded, "If he finds out my wife has escaped, he can tear down the entire city in no time", he warned. "That's when the SHC and I will come in", Thorben replied boldly. He noticed the doubt on Dr Nicolaus' face and insisted. "The good will always prevail over the bad in the end." "You guys can do whatever you can then", Dr Nicolaus reluctantly told them. "We'll defeat Superhuman. I promise", Stuart assured him. "I believe in the promise too", said Thorben. Lieut. Karl concurred to what Thorben said. Nicolaus only shrugged off his shoulders in response.
