As I sat down with a pen and paper to start jotting down ideas for our wedding, my heart was racing with excitement and nerves. Planning a wedding was no easy feat, but I couldn't wait to start the process with Felix by my side. As I wrote down the first few ideas for our big day, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the endless possibilities. Should we have an indoor or outdoor ceremony? What type of flowers should we choose? What would be the perfect dress for me? I knew that there were so many decisions to make, but I was excited to start working through them one by one. Felix and I had already discussed the overall vision for our wedding, and I knew that we would make the perfect team in bringing it to life. As I flipped through bridal magazines and scrolled through endless Pinterest boards, I felt a surge of excitement building inside of me. I couldn't wait to see our vision come to life and to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family. But as the days passed and the to-do list grew longer, I also began to feel nervous. What if we couldn't make our vision a reality? What if something went wrong on the big day? I knew that these worries were normal, but I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread building inside of me. This was the biggest day of our lives, and I wanted it to be perfect. Felix, always the calming presence, reminded me that no matter what happened on the day, the most important thing was that we were getting married. As long as we had each other, nothing else mattered. His words filled me with a sense of calm, and I knew that we would be able to tackle anything that came our way. With Felix by my side, I felt confident that our wedding day would be everything that we had ever dreamed of. As we continued to plan and prepare for our big day, the excitement continued to build. I couldn't wait to say "I do" to the love of my life and to start our forever together. *** I went home as soon as I finished some errands. Lily was with my mom today at our old house, so I was all alone washing the dishes when the doorbell rang. I hurriedly washed my hands and open the door. I smiled widely when I saw it was Felix. "You're early today," I said, as I kissed his cheeks. "Is lily still at your mom's house?" he asked, smirking. I laughed as I nodded at him. He quickly grabbed my waist unto him and stared into my eyes. "I missed you," he said, his eyes softening. "I missed you too," I replied, leaning into his embrace. It had been a busy week for both of us, with work and other commitments taking up most of our time. But as always, seeing him made everything feel right again. He held me for a few moments longer before pulling away and grabbing my hand. "Come on," he said, "I have a surprise for you." I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A surprise? What is it?" He just smiled and led me out of the house and towards his car. We got in and he started driving, the excitement building inside of me. As we drove, I tried to guess where he might be taking me, but he remained tight-lipped. I couldn't help but feel grateful for having someone like him in my life - someone who was always surprising me and keeping things interesting. After a short drive, he parked the car and got out, coming around to open my door. He led me down a path towards a secluded spot by a lake, where a blanket and picnic basket were waiting for us. My eyes widened in surprise as I took it all in. "Wow, this is amazing," I said, feeling touched by his thoughtfulness. We sat down and he opened the basket, revealing all of my favorite foods and drinks. We talked and laughed as we ate, enjoying the peace and quiet of our little spot by the lake. As the sun began to set, he pulled me close and we sat in comfortable silence, watching the colors in the sky change. At that moment, I knew that I was exactly where I was meant to be - with him. "Thank you for this," I said, turning to him and kissing him softly. "Anything for you," he replied, smiling. I could feel my heart racing as his eyes locked onto mine. There was something in the way he looked at me that made my knees weak. He leaned in and brushed his lips against mine, his touch sending shivers down my spine. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. We kissed deeply, lost in the moment and the passion that we shared. It was as if nothing else in the world mattered, and all that existed was the two of us. Eventually, we pulled away, both of us catching our breath. He smiled at me, a twinkle in his eye. We spent the rest of the evening together, catching up on each other's days and just enjoying each other's company. It was moments like these that made me realize how lucky I was to have him in my life. As the night wore on, I could feel my eyes getting heavy. He noticed my tiredness and stood up, taking my hand and leading me to the bedroom. We crawled into bed, snuggling close to each other. I could feel his warmth, and it was the most comforting feeling in the world. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but think about our upcoming wedding. I knew that it was going to be an incredible day, filled with love, joy, and all of the people that we cared about most in the world. But more than anything, I was excited to marry Felix - the man who had captured my heart and had been by my side through thick and thin. With him by my side, I knew that anything was possible and that we would be able to conquer any challenge that came our way. As I closed my eyes, I knew that the future was bright and that we were on the path to living the happiest and most fulfilling life together.
