The morning of the wedding had finally arrived, and I couldn't believe that the day was finally here. Felix and I had been planning for months, and now it was time for our vision to come to life. As I sat in the makeup chair, surrounded by my bridesmaids, I felt a sense of excitement building inside of me. I had always dreamed of this day, and now it was finally happening. As the makeup artist applied the finishing touches, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked. My hair was styled perfectly, my makeup was flawless, and my dress fit like a glove. But as I looked at my reflection, I couldn't help but feel nervous. This was it - the moment that I had been waiting for my entire life. I knew that everything was going to be perfect, but there was still a small part of me that worried that something might go wrong. Thankfully, my bridesmaids were there to keep me calm and focused. They laughed and joked with me, reminding me that there was nothing to worry about. As we finished up with the last touches of our hair and makeup, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love and support of my friends. They had been there for me through thick and thin, and now they were helping me get ready for the most important day of my life. As I stepped out of the car and made my way toward the venue, I could hear the sound of laughter and chatter from inside. I took a deep breath and reminded myself to stay calm. This was it - the final touches before the wedding. As soon as I entered the venue, I was greeted by the sight of my bridesmaids, all busy getting ready. They looked beautiful in their matching dresses, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and gratitude for each of them. "Hey, Iris!" my maid of honor, Emily, called out as she spotted me. "We're just about to start the final touch-ups. Are you ready?" I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness building inside of me. I took a seat in front of the mirror and watched as the hair and makeup team worked their magic. As they finished up, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as I looked at myself in the mirror. The dress, the hair, the makeup - everything was perfect. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "You look beautiful," Felix whispered in my ear, making my heart skip a beat. I turned to him, smiling widely. "Thank you," I said, feeling overwhelmed with love for him. We shared a few moments together, just enjoying each other's company before it was time to get into position for the ceremony. As I made my way down the aisle, all eyes were on me. I felt a mix of nervousness and excitement as I looked toward Felix, who was waiting for me at the end. The ceremony was beautiful - everything that we had ever dreamed of. We exchanged our vows, promising to love and cherish each other for the rest of our lives. As we sealed our union with a kiss, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and gratitude. This was the start of our forever together, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us. The reception was a blur of dancing, laughter, and celebration. As we cut the cake and shared our first dance, I looked around the room, feeling grateful for all of the people who had come to celebrate with us. The reception was in full swing, and I was feeling a mix of emotions - happiness, excitement, and a bit of relief that everything had gone smoothly so far. As I was mingling with the guests, I saw Max walking towards me, her eyes brimming with tears. I was taken aback for a moment, wondering what could have made her so emotional. But as she came closer, I could see that her tears were ones of joy. She hugged me tightly, whispering congratulations in my ear. "Max, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked, feeling a lump form in my throat. "I'm just so happy for you, Iris," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "You deserve all the happiness in the world." I smiled, feeling grateful for Max's unwavering support and love. We had been best friends for years, and she had always been there for me through thick and thin. As we pulled away from the hug, Max looked at me with a twinkle in her eye. "You know what, Iris? I can't wait for Red to propose to me too!" she joked. I couldn't help but laugh, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders. Max always knew how to make me smile, even in the most emotional moments. "Who knows, Max," I replied, grinning. "Maybe he's already planning something." We laughed together, enjoying the lighthearted moment amidst the whirlwind of the wedding reception. As we went our separate ways to mingle with other guests, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. As I mingled with the guests at the reception, I felt a tap on her leg. Looking down, I saw my little daughter, Lily, standing there with a big grin on her face. "Mommy, you look so pretty!" Lily exclaimed as she threw her arms around my waist. My heart swelled with joy as I hugged my daughter back, kissing her on the cheek. "Thank you, sweetie," I replied, feeling a rush of love for my daughter. I noticed how Red looked at me and Lily with a smile on his face, "I can't wait to have my own family too," he said, smiling thoughtfully. " You can, Red, anytime," Max jokingly said, which makes us all laugh. "but propose to me first," she added, laughing at her own remarks. We all teased Max and Red, which makes them blush. As the teasing died down, I noticed a thoughtful expression on Red's face. "Actually, proposing to Max is something I've been thinking about a lot lately," he said, his eyes fixed on Max's. Max's face lit up with surprise and delight. "Really?" she asked, her voice tinged with excitement. Red nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "Yes, really. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Max," he said, taking her hand in his. Tears welled up in Max's eyes as she looked up at Red. "I love you so much," she said, her voice filled with emotion. The rest of us gathered around them, cheering and clapping as Red got down on one knee and pulled out a small box from his pocket. "Max, will you marry me?" he asked, opening the box to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. Max nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Yes, yes, I will!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around Red's neck. We all hugged and congratulated them, feeling happy and excited for their future together. The night ended with laughter, love, and a promise of a beautiful new chapter in their lives. As the reception wound down, Red and Max stayed close together, holding hands and looking at each other with adoration. Lily tugged at my dress, looking up at me with big eyes. "Mommy, is that what love looks like?" she asked. I smiled down at her, nodding. "Yes, sweetie, that's what love looks like," I replied. Red and Max walked by us, and Max leaned down to give Lily a hug. "Hey there, little one. Did you hear the good news?" she asked. Lily looked up at Max, her eyes wide. "Did you and Red get married?" she asked. Max chuckled. "Not yet, sweetie. Red just asked me to marry him, and I said yes," she replied, showing off her ring. Lily gasped, her face lighting up with excitement. "That's so cool! Can I be the flower girl?" she asked. Red and Max looked at each other, smiling. "Of course, Lily. You can be the flower girl," Red said, ruffling Lily's hair. I looked at Red and Max, seeing the promise of a beautiful future together. And as Lily skipped ahead, giggling and dreaming of being a flower girl, I felt the warmth of love and family in my heart. As the night drew to a close, Felix and I stepped out of the venue, hand in hand. We walked towards the car, ready to start the next chapter of our lives together. As we drove away, I leaned into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his love surrounding me. This was it - the start of our forever. And I couldn't wait to see where it would take us. In the days and weeks that followed, Red and Max began planning their wedding. They picked a beautiful venue by the beach and invited their family and friends to witness their union. Lily was overjoyed to be the flower girl, and she eagerly helped Max with the wedding preparations. On the day of the wedding, Max looked stunning in her white dress, and Red beamed with happiness as he waited for her at the altar. Lily walked down the aisle, scattering flower petals and smiling from ear to ear. It was a beautiful ceremony, filled with love, laughter, and happy tears. As the night went on, we all danced, ate, and celebrated the newlyweds. Max and Red couldn't keep their eyes off each other, and their love was palpable. It was a reminder of the power of love and how it can bring people together and make them feel complete. As the night drew to a close, Max and Red thanked us for being a part of their special day. They hugged us all, and I saw the love and gratitude in their eyes. It was a night to remember, filled with joy and happiness. Looking back on that night, I realized that love truly is a magical thing. It can make us feel alive, happy, and complete. And as I watched Max and Red walk away, hand in hand, I felt grateful for the love and family that surrounded me.
