MISS SHAIRA HAD TRIPPLED AND SLID ON THE FLOOR. Amanda saw that her auntie had cleaned the living room, so she came downstairs. Amanda unable to express her intention. "Mommy Shaira, I will help you with this." "Oh no, honey, I'll clean up here and you just sit down. Don't assist me with household chores." Amanda insisted that she wanted to help her auntie with the cleaning, and eventually she agreed that Amanda would help her. She worked incredibly hard so that her aunt would let her go on a company outing. Amanda had a propensity of showing hardwork before stating her whims. "Ah, Mommy Shaira, do you mind if I go home because the company has an event that I should attend?' "I'll think about it!" "Auntie's behavior was changing, which was inexplicable," she said in her mind. "Mommy Shaira, take it easy." Her auntie was holding a tiny bucket full of water, which she was using to clean the balcony. She kept going outside the balcony, not far from their balcony to get water. Amanda heard something fall on the floor. "What could that be?" Amanda peered. "Okay, auntie! What happened to you?" She dragged her aunt up and carried her to the sofa. "Nah, Auntie, you're still heavy!" "Wake up, Auntie!" Her auntie passed out, and her head bled so profusely that it slid on the floor. "There's blood on the head!" Amanda was confused about what to do, so she called her friends. "Guys! What am I going to do now? I don't know what to do," was Amanda's shocking reaction. "Just take her to the nearest hospital," said Lara. "Alright, alright, Lara, bye!" "Haysss, I'm terrified of blood! " She looked at her aunt's head to see how big the wound was. "The wound isn't too big; I'll just put a bandage on it." She quickly went upstairs to get her bandage and put it on her aunt's head. "Haysss, I don't know what to do! You are very heavy, auntie," she tried to carry Miss Shaira with her arms. This Amanda was taller than her auntie, and she was a little fatter. She put her in the car and quickly went to the hospital. "Guard, please help me; my auntie has blood on her head and she hasn't woken up," she said to the hospital guard. The nurses took her aunt out of the car and took her to the emergency room. She sat in the lobby first, and after fifteen minutes, the doctor came out. "Miss, right now your mommy's condition is not stable, and upon checking the patient record, your mommy has a medical history." "What is my aunt's medical history, doc?" "She suffered from dissociative amnesia." "What is that, Doc?" "Can you please explain it to me?" "She had difficulty remembering important information about herself, her personal history, or her family and friends. Dissociative amnesia can be caused by a traumatic or stressful event, such as being in combat or being the victim of a crime. It usually happens suddenly and can last for minutes, hours, or days. In rare cases, it can take months or years. Your aunt was diagnosed seven months ago." "Alright, doctor, thanks! Her boyfriend called and was worried. "Hello, babe, how are you doing there? Lara told me that something happened there." "I'm here at the hospital; I definitely won't be able to join you on the company outing." "It's fine, babe; what matters most is that she will recovered." "What the doctor said regarding her health condition, babe?" "The doctor told me a while ago that she had a medical history and that she was diagnosed with dissociative amnesia seven months ago." "How can we help her if she has amnesia?" James seriously asked. "You will find it difficult because you have not been with her for several years," he added. "I noticed a few days ago that when I called her auntie, her mood changed and she wanted me to call her as my mother. So, I got used to calling her "mom," and she told me that her family had rejected her and that she felt alone in life." "What do you think about, babe?" "Perhaps I'll have to wait for her to wake up and root for her quick recovery, and if everything is going well, I might decide to go home because I've missed it so much, and I want to visit my Mommy Kayla's grave. "Do you feel safe living with her?" "I have difficulty living with her since I don't feel comfortable in her home, my career loses out, and I sometimes feel irresponsible if I decide to leave her. I knew she didn't have any other family or relatives, and she'd only known me for a short time." "I'll call you back, Babe! It's time for me to get back to work." She went inside her aunt's room, hoping she would soon get up. She was sleepy, but she resisted it. Her cellphone rang. "Hello, babe!" Hello, Amanda!" "Have you finished the Tracer Application?" "I'm sorry, sir, I thought James was calling. I almost finished the Tracer Application, sir! I can't be able to finish as of today, sir, because I'm at the hospital taking care of my aunt, who got into an accident. But I will inform you once it's finished. "Ah, okay, call me when you finish it, okay?" "Okay, sir, thank you. "Welcome, Amanda! Stay safe." She lay down on the sofa because she was sleepy, and when she was about to close her eyes, she heard her aunt moaning. She stood up and looked at it. "Are you awake now, Mommy Shaira?" She noticed her aunt moving while her eyes were closed and called the doctor. "Don't worry, Ms. Amanda; it's a sign that she'll be awake soon." "Thank you, Doc!" After talking to the doctor, she left the hospital and went to eat inside the restaurant because she felt hungry. "Hi!" A twenty-five-year-old female greeted Amanda and smiled, and Amanda wondered why. "Oh, maybe she's just friendly." After eating at the fast food restaurant, she went straight to her auntie's room. She sat down first and noticed that her aunt's finger was moving. "You can do it again, Mommy Shaira! You will be fine sooner!" Miss Shaira's eyes opened wide, but she gently closed them. "Oh, I think she was just dreaming." Amanda only looked at Miss Shaira before headed back to sleep.
