JASON FELT WORRIED AND AMANDA'S CONSCIENCE "I was trying to contact my friends to see if they saw my fiancée, Lara, but some of them replied that they didn't know. I'm really anxious to see what really happens to her. Our group of friends is all offline except James, who is online. Where are they? Amanda, Kitty, Jason, and my fiancée Lara?" "Mike, please find them, and if you haven't seen them, you must report to the police after you went to Miss Shaira's house, in case you can't find them there." "All right, Sir Claude." Mike called James on the phone. "Hello, James, do you have any thoughts on Amanda?" "As of now, Mike, I'm focusing on the task assigned by Sir Claude, and I'm editing all of Amanda's works. I received a text from Amanda yesterday saying that she's okay, though she couldn't be reached when I called her. From this mere text, I felt a little okay, but there's a pain in my heart. Sir Claude is in a hurry to finish this project because it is urgently needed by our client." "I will let you know when I'm going to Miss Shaira's place today. I will keep you updated." "Be safe, Mike, and keep your GPS on." "All right, James, and be safe as well." Mike arranged all of his stuff before leaving for his trip; he cooked first to eat lunch and brought some foods if he became hungry while traveling; he brought a flashlight and instant foods such as canned goods, sandwiches, potato chips, and one liter of bottled mineral water. While Jason was on his way to Miss Shaira's residence, Amanda had been trying to get out of the room. Amanda heard a commotion outside her room and found out that her friends had been looking for her, and Miss Shaira had not treated them properly. From the moment she heard the chainsaw, she struggled to untie the rope from her hands and legs while huddled in the chair. She didn't notice Miss Shaira tying her to a chair and covering her mouth with a handkerchief. She tried everything she could to untie her hands so she could untie the rope from her legs. She can only moan since she can't yell. Amanda thought the ghost was scary and realized it was Miss Shaira who was horrible in the house. Amanda had a hard time removing the straps, but she didn't stop doing her best even though she was hungry. She remembered that she had food in the drawer and wanted to remove the strings right away. She felt that the ties on her hands had loosened a bit. "Hays, thank you, Lord, the rope on my hand has finally come off." She removed the handkerchief from her mouth and removed the leg strap. She needed to eat before entering the conflicts, so she went to her drawer and ate the leftover food. She was starving because she hadn't eaten the food her aunt had given her. Amanda suspected her auntie was suffering from a psychological disorder and was out of control. Amanda's physique was frail, but she needed to deal with her emotions and overcome the hurdle. She knew it would be tough for her to leave the room, so she took a deep breath before busting down the door. Amanda had now been prepared, so she got in the chair and struck on the door. She didn't stop until a good thing happened as a consequence of what she did. Amanda stopped banging on the door because her strength didn't seem to be failing because the door hadn't broken. She rested first because she was tired and took another deep breath. She heard the ambiguous conversation, but she couldn't understand it because it was too inaudible. Amanda stood up first and looked out the window. Amanda was looking for a way to get out of Miss Shaira's house. She went to her table. She took a notebook from her desk because only the notebook and ballpoint pen were left there. She ripped a single sheet of paper from her notebook. She wrote "help us," but her writing in a ballpoint pen was difficult to read from a distance; it would be better if it were an ink pen, so she enhanced the writing. She went to the window once she finished writing to see if there was a car or a person on the road. She was well aware that cars rarely passed by. If she saw a car in the distance, she threw her hands out and made gestures that she needed urgent help, and she showed the letter "Help us," but after forty minutes, no car went by, and she was unwilling to give up. Amanda hoped that someone would come to help them. She fully understood that she couldn't help her colleagues since she couldn't get out the door. So Amanda contemplated whether she would scream or not, and if she did, what further her auntie should do. Amanda could still hear commotions from outside her room, and she felt sad that, because of her, the lives of her friends were at risk. She felt guilty and was unable to think of other ways to get out, but all she could do was wait for someone who could rescue them. As she heard the screams from outside, her heart seemed smashed and tortured. She was tired of standing near the window area, so she got a chair and brought it near the window so she could sit there and feel comfortable, and it had been one hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. Finally, during Amanda's long wait, a car came by, and she put out her hand and showed what she had written, but Amanda was sad because it just drove straight ahead. "Hayss, what should I do now?" she sighed. Amanda refused to give up, telling herself that another car will pass by soon. While waiting for someone to pass by on the road, she wondered if everything she had seen and heard earlier were hallucinations, as a result of which her aunt had put something in the food and coffee.
