After the battle, the Guardians and the Light Keepers took a moment to rest and recover from their injuries. Hikari tended to his wounds, while Lyra and the other Light Keepers worked to heal their fallen comrades. As they rested, they talked about the battle and the lessons they had learned. Hikari reflected on how he had initially been skeptical of working with the Light Keepers, but had come to realize that their differences were their strength. Lyra agreed, adding that it was important to work together and respect each other's unique abilities and perspectives. She also suggested that they form a more permanent alliance, one that could work together to defend the universe against any future threats. The Guardians and the Light Keepers agreed, and they formed a council to oversee their joint efforts. They vowed to work together, to share knowledge and resources, and to defend the universe from any and all threats, no matter how great or small. And so, the universe was safe once again, thanks to the bravery, skill, and cooperation of the Guardians and the Light Keepers. They had proven that when people from different backgrounds and with different skills come together, they can accomplish great things. Hikari sat down heavily on a nearby rock, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. He looked up at Lyra, who was leaning against a nearby tree, and smiled weakly. "That was... intense," he said, wiping sweat from his brow. Lyra nodded in agreement. "It was. But we did it. We saved the universe." Hikari nodded, his expression serious. "I know. But we can't let our guard down. There will always be new threats, new challenges." Lyra sighed. "I know. But I also know that we're stronger together than we are alone. We have different skills and abilities, but when we work together, we can accomplish great things." Hikari smiled, his energy returning. "You're right. We make a pretty good team." Lyra laughed. "I think we make an amazing team. And I was thinking, maybe we should make our alliance more permanent. Start a council, or something." Hikari's eyebrows raised in surprise. "A council? That's a big step. Are you sure?" Lyra nodded firmly. "I'm sure. We need to work together, to share knowledge and resources. And if we're going to defend the universe against all threats, we need to be organized and coordinated." Hikari considered for a moment, then nodded. "You're right. Let's do it. Let's form a council." Lyra grinned. "Great! I'll get started on the paperwork. And in the meantime, we should celebrate. We just saved the universe, after all." Hikari laughed. "You're right. Let's celebrate. Together, as friends and allies." And with that, the Guardians and the Light Keepers set aside their differences and celebrated their victory, united in their mission to defend the universe against all threats. As they celebrated, the Guardians and Light Keepers reflected on the battles they had fought and the challenges they had overcome. Lyra approached Hikari, her expression serious. "You know, Hikari, when we first met, I didn't think we'd make it this far," she said, her voice soft. Hikari looked at her, his eyes meeting hers. "Why is that?" he asked, curious. Lyra shrugged. "I don't know. We come from such different backgrounds, with different skills and ways of thinking. I didn't know if we'd be able to work together." Hikari smiled. "I felt the same way at first. But I've come to realize that our differences are what make us strong. We complement each other, and we bring different perspectives to the table." Lyra nodded in agreement. "Yes, that's true. And I've also come to see that you and your fellow Guardians have a lot to teach us Light Keepers. We can learn from each other." Hikari's smile widened. "Absolutely. That's what it's all about. Learning, growing, and working together to overcome the challenges we face." Lyra grinned. "Well, speaking of challenges, I have a proposal for our council. I think we should start training together, sharing our skills and learning from each other. What do you think?" Hikari's eyes lit up. "I think that's a fantastic idea. Let's start as soon as possible." As the celebration continued, the Guardians and Light Keepers began discussing plans for their council and how they would train together. Suddenly, a voice interrupted their conversation. "Well done, my friends," said a deep, rumbling voice. "You have saved the universe from a great threat." The group turned to see a towering figure, clad in shining armor, standing before them. It was none other than the legendary hero, Argus, who had long been thought dead. Hikari gasped in amazement. "Argus! We thought you were gone forever." Argus smiled. "I was, for a time. But I have returned, summoned by the energy of your battle. And I bring a message from the gods themselves." The group leaned in, eager to hear what Argus had to say. "The gods have been watching your struggle, and they are pleased with what they have seen," Argus said. "They have seen the strength and courage of your alliance, and they wish to bestow upon you a great honor." Lyra's eyes widened. "What honor?" Argus raised his hand, and a beam of light shot out, illuminating the sky above. "The gods have chosen you to be their champions, their defenders of the universe. You will be known as the Protectors, and you will wield the power of the gods themselves." The group gasped in amazement, unable to believe what they were hearing. "How... how do we accept this honor?" Hikari asked, his voice filled with wonder. Argus smiled. "Simply accept it in your hearts. Know that you are now the Protectors, and that you have the power to defend the universe against any threat." With those words, Argus disappeared, leaving the group stunned and amazed. Lyra turned to Hikari. "Well, I guess we have a lot of training to do now, huh?" Hikari grinned. "Yes, we do. But we also have a new purpose, a new mission. We are the Protectors, and we will defend the universe with all our strength and power." And with that, the Protectors began their new journey, united in their mission to defend the universe against all threats, no matter how great.
