Meanwhile.... "It happened without a plan," Peter states as he grabs his science book from his locker, before lightly slamming it shut. "So you described it was an accident?" Junghwa asks. "Prettymuch, through my perspective," Peter states as the two boys continue to walk through the hallway. Of course, all eyes were on Peter ever since the big argument between Grace and Bianca, which left most of the students shocked. "Man, what were you thinking when you decided to get your girlfriend's enemy laid?" Junghwa asks. He didn't found a logical reason of his best friend's behaviour to cheat with his girlfriend's enemy. Out of all the girls at school, he had to chose Bianca. Of course it was shocking for him. "It's hard to describe it all," Peter says. "Bianca's not so bad if I say." "Dude, she hates us. More specifically, she hates Ara and Grace more," Junghwa states. Hearing that, Peter didn't say a word. He decided to become silent as the irritating stares from the student continues to study him. In silence, Peter agreed with Junghwa's statement just now. He knew just how terrible the relationship between the two duos of Ara and Grace, and Tracy and Bianca, way before he even started dating Grace. Yet, despite the bad tentions Bianca has with Grace, he found Bianca to have another side in which none of his friends knows. Despite being Tracy's all time minion, there were times she would break down in front of Peter behind Tracy's back, telling him that the only reason she stayed loyal to Tracy was because she didn't want to be bullied by her, and that she only did that for her reputation since she wanted to be just as popular as her. Of course, Peter didn't believe her stories at first, but after she approached him a few times, of course without Grace knowing, he found the girl to be very pity and is quite touched by her blue story. Other than that, Bianca often shows little act of concerns towards him, in times when Grace seems to be too busy having some girls' time with Ara. He remembered that was the start of their affair, because she showed him his fragile side, while he was also vulnerable. As time passed, he began to have deeper attractions towards Bianca, yet knowing that it was impossible for them to be exclusive in public since he is still with Grace, and thought that breaking up with her just he had fallen for Bianca wasn't really the wisest decision, knowing that for the times they're together, Grace had also tried her best to be the perfect girlfriend. He didn't expect that one day, everything will be revealed way out of his imaginations. He didn't expect Bianca to confront Grace this morning, showing her their flirty messages from last, along with some romantic photos they've took in private. In this situation, he thought he didn't need to say the word "break up", since Grace probably already took it as the end of their relationship. On one side, he felt guilty for Grace, but thinking again, he knew that it wasn't right to remain in a relationship with a one-sided love anyway. Despite losing his feelings for her, he still wished her to be happy. Peter sighs. "I know. But, she's actually more than that." "What do you mean?" Junghwa asks. "She's more than just Tracy's minion," Peter states. "She only stayed by her side because she didn't want to lose her popularity." "That's not a reason for her to bully others," Junghwa states. "I know," Peter says. "But, there's more to her than just the bully we all thought about. She's actually a smart and fun person." "Man, are you sick or something? I understand a man can't resist a beautiful woman, but the girl is your girlfriend's enemy," Junghwa states. "What's up with you?" Peter remain silent. Being honest with himself, he knew that the choice he made of cheating with Bianca behind Grace had no common sense. In fact, he did felt stupid of his impulsive desire to play with fire. Yet again, he figured that behind his guilty decision of cheating with his girlfriend's enemy, he came to a conclusion that after all, he figured that his love for Grace had ran out, and he had not feel the same way for her as before. Of course, he could only blame himself for his own feelings, but even though he knew that it was also not fair for Grace to not know his changed feelings, at the time he didn't have the guts to tell her that his feelings had changed, and that it was better for them end their relationship. Instead, he chose to have an affair behind her back. "The feelings changed," Peter says. "I don't feel the same way to Grace as I did before. In a way, my love for her ran out." Hearing that, Junghwa could only shut his lips with a surprised heart. It was quite surprising for him to hear Peter's sudden confession that he no longer feels the same way to Grace as before. Before, Junghwa thought that love was something that would never fade away. Pretty much, he only thought about after meeting Hana, and while in the process of trying to move on from her. Yet, hearing Peter's words just now suddenly opened a new thought in his head, that despite being madly in love in the past, there are a lot of factors why one can finally lose feelings, before eventually finding a new love. "I loved Grace. She's nice and had always been perfect in our relationship. But, you really can't force your feelings when the love is no longer there," Peter says. "I loved her then, but now, everything has change." Peter's words shoot Junghwa's heart like a sharp bullet, hence making him start to question himself and his own feelings. Flashbacks from his impulsive kiss with Ara last night made him felt like he just did the worst mistake of his life of his kissing his best friend. Yet, after hearing Peter's words, he starts to question his own actions from last night, whether it was a sign that maybe, he had slowly moved on from Hana, and started to fall for Ara. "Trust me, one day you'll understand," Peter says. Junghwa became silent for a moment. His thoughts starts to rush whether he should tell Peter about what happened last night between him and Ara, by that telling him that he did understand what it felt like to be in a complicated love-involved feeling. After all, Junghwa had always seen Peter as an elder brother figure. He thought it wouldn't do any harm to tell him. "I already did," Junghwa says. "What do you mean?" Peter asks. "I kissed Ara last night," Junghwa says. "My best friend." A few hours later... After school... Ara and Grace walks outside the school exit as they plan to take the bus to go to Ara's house, where she already planned a study date along with pizzas to cheer Grace up. Since the morning drama regarding Peter and Bianca's affair, Grace had lost her concentration during classes. Other than that, she also lost her appetite and skipped lunch today, where she was busy hiding in the toilet crying her eyes out. Looking at how bad her best friend is feeling right now, Ara is determine to cheer her up in a day, and what better way would it be than to start with a study date with pizzas to add? "Thanks for your concern, Ara," Grace says in a low tone. "Don't mention it," Ara says. "You gotta get your focus back." "I know," Grace states. "I don't want to waste the rest of my life crying over that jerk." Ara smiles. "That's my girl. Now let's go catch the bus." "Sure," Grace says, her lips slowly forming a small smile as she starts to feel better with Ara's supportive presence. To be continue...
