It had barely been 20mins after the lunch break ended; the entire school was left in a rumpus with everyone yet to settle in their desks. Class 3/4 was no different from the others– with its members scattered here and there with each of them going about their own activities. Some were seen in groups chit-chattering while others found themselves teasing each other– it was the usual classroom setting and there will obviously be those serious ones who pay attention to nothing more than their books. Literally, everyone was busy in one way or the other and had no room to notice any unusual activity apart from theirs that might be going on around them, or better still; they were not interested at all. Gradually, Phidel was settling comfortably in her sister's shoes especially with the spirit of Phidelia around. She was evenly becoming a natural with her act that no one could even point her out– not even Rowan. Phidelia on the other hand was having quite some fun too– seeing and being around her sister once again was like a dream come true. She felt attached to her once again despite the state she found herself in. The ruckus was still going when Tina and her gang shuffled in through the back door with Bella and Roxy heading straight to their desks; their faces selling them off while Tina staggered off to the lockers behind the class. Apart from the main hallway lockers for the students to keep their books, there were also extra ones situated behind the class for the student's personal use. Though Phidel was busy chatting with Rowan, she instinctively caught a glance of Tina going to her locker. A smugish smile spontaneously swept her face while her gaze returned to Rowan– making him question her but she quickly basked her way out of it; probably with anything that could hook his attention. Tina on the hand other had no idea what was stored in wait for her as she turned the keys to her locker. She was already in a bad mood with Phidel’s tacky attitude at the basketball court and in the Cafeteria. It was clear the latter was hitting it hard with her but then; her father's words kept echoing in her head– cadging her down. To top it all, she couldn't understand what was going on. Everything was just not settling with her especially with 'the supposed' Phidelia's silence. She badly wanted to know what the latter remember or knows, how she managed to survive, and what her plans were but she was not getting anything which to that effect, was weighing heavily on her. She looked as though she had been deprived of sleep for a week. With the numerous questions racing in her mind, she slammed her locker door open but instinctively froze in her steed on what met her eyes. On an impulse, her eyes darted across the locker which was messed up with bashful words written in red ink as if in search of something– whiles her shaky hands reached for one of the papers pasted in it with the word MURDERER. She could feel her breath quickened at that instant as her heart thumped louder like it would explode. “Who did this?” She grumbled over her shoulder; loud enough for those close by to hear her. They spontaneously turned in her direction; given her question but were also left in a state of shock at what they saw. Tina could feel rage welling up in her chest– getting no answers to her questions. “I SAID WHO DID THIS?” She barked, turning to face the class as a tear escaped her eyes while she felt her body shake with fear. The entire class instantly fell dead silent as all eyes went Tina’s way. Bella and Roxy couldn't help scampering over to the locker– followed by almost the entire class as their eyes fell on it. They both gasped, covering their hands with their mouth nearing the locker whiles their eyes traced back to Tina. “Hey, are you okay?” Rowan questioned as he got to where the latter stood but she just stood still as she lurked at the piercing gazes fixed on her coupled with accusing voices which kept taunting in her subconscious mind just like in her 5th grade. The four corners of the classroom walls wallowed in tension as the entire mood deepened with anxiety. Instinctively, her eyes fell on Phidel who still sat at her desk and her hands involuntarily squeezed into fists as anger palpitated her. As if on an impulse, Tina accelerated towards Phidel who had her gaze fixed on her with a knowing look. The spirit of Phidelia spontaneously stood on alert beside her sister – ready to go all out to protect her sister as the former closed in on them. “I know you did this.” She roared, slamming the paper on Phidel’s desk as her pulse heightened with aggression. The latter stared indifferently at the paper then back to Tina who was by now boiling with rage. “And what makes you think so?” Phidel inquired, sounding as calm as enough while she slowly rose to her feet– folding her arms in the process as she stood to her full length; staring straight into Tina’s eyes. Noticing the strand of tear-drenched on her cheeks coupled with the unshed tears shimmering in her eyes, Phidel scoffed; “You look so pathetic.” She sneered. At this rate, Phidelia knew what to expect next and instantly felt the need to do something. But what? Just then, a thought clicked; without warning, she rushed into her sister's body– possessing her without thinking of the complications. Tina on the other hand felt her ego badly bruised with Phidel’s words– without giving ahead, she rose her hand in an attempt to do justice for herself but before it could land to its destination; a hand held its mid way– followed by a familiar face and the well-built body of Rowan which gradually came between them. “I think you should stop it now Tina.” He muttered with a calm but strong tonation. Phidelia gazed at his back in quiet a daze as awe swept across her face while Tina, on the other hand, stared sternly at him and instinctively snatched her hand– wiping a tear away from her eyes as she stormed off. “Hey, Tina!” Both Bella and Roxy chorused and rushed off after her. The class spontaneously broke into rumpus once again as everyone sauntered back to their seats with each individual talking about what just happened and how weirdly had been acting lately. “Are you okay?” Rowan questioned, allowing her gaze to travel back to Phidel who stood in a daze with her eyes fixed on him. “ Hey.” He muttered, picking her on the forehead as he tried to her back to reality. ”Ouch..” Phidel with the spirit of Phidelia groaned, rubbing her forehead. “Were you even listening to me at all?” He scoffed, slightly shaking his head as he settled back in his seat. At that instant, Phidelia’s spirit left her sister's body– making her conscious of herself once again. She noticed the party was over with Rowan questioning her as he returned to his seat. Phidel deftly glanced at her sister with a quizzical look and she, in turn, shrugged with a sheepish grin plastered on her face. “I’m sorry..” Phidelia grumbled and Phidel spontaneously sighed– rolling her eyes in the process as she settled back in her seat; giving Rowan a sheepish smile as she glared at her sister. Phidelia on the other hand simpered, reminiscing Rowan's initial actions.
