Chapter 40 THE NEW GISELLA

" What's wrong with you Gisel? why are you acting all cold towards Lore and her friends? They mean no–" Desmond stuttered but Gisel instinctively cut him off.
" No, Desmond" She objected. "You won't understand anything for now. Let me handle it." She spontaneously turned back to Loretta. Her gaze was roguish, she glared.
" Get out of here, Lore– I don't want to see you anywhere near Desmond ever again." She roared.
Loretta, with a nervous smile, mumbled. "Why are you talking like that Gisel?" She went on. "Desmond is also our friend– We just came to visit him." She explained, astonished by Gisella's sudden change.
Without a second thought, Gisel furiously dragged them by the hand towards the exit.
" No need for that, just get out of here, now!!!" She screamed– Everyone stared on, puzzled.
"Why is she like this all of a sudden?" Martin mumbled, completely stunned.
" Stop it, Gisela–" Lizzy roared. "Enough with already –What has gotten into you" She queried which brought Gisel's attention to her.
" No, aunty not until I see this low life to the exit." She exclaimed. Lizzy instinctively raised her hand, stopping her in her words.
" Cut it, I don't want to hear anything from your end any longer–Let go of her, now! " She scoffed. " When did you start caring so much about someone."
With a flushed gaze, Gisel spontaneously turned towards her.
" Enough, Lizzy!! " She barked with exasperated sighs. " I've lost a lot of people because of that and I won't allow that any longer. Not when I'm alive ."
With that, she held Loretta and dragged her out while Bianca and Paola followed them, ranting.
Lizzy, Martin, and Catherina looked on, stunned.
Desmond's face flashed with smiles as he gazed from his bed; Martin's gaze instinctively met his–his brows furrowed.
" Why are you smiling, Desmond?" He mumbled. "Why didn't you stop her ?" He asked with a surprised look.
" Um–" He stuttered with a sudden change in demeanor. He gazed down with shifty eye contact and unwarranted smiles.
" ...nothing, you heard what she said when I tried." He added with a one-sided shoulder shrug. "And on the other hand, it's cool seeing her like this." He giggled. " She was like a lioness"
Catherina instinctively spanked his head just the moment those words escaped his lips.
" Ouch–mum." He cried.
" Stop talking like that, it wasn't a funny scene. They are all your friends and shouldn't be behaving like that" She explained.
" mum–?" He slouched as he blinked back his tears.
" Yeah, now get ready–We'll be discharged in no time."
OUTSIDE
Gisella stormed out of the hospital, holding onto Lore's hand while Bianca and Paola sped behind them.
" Let go of me now, Gisella!." Lore shouted, snatching her hand from hers. "Who do you think you are to drag me out of Desmond's ward?– Huh?" She howled with a flushed gaze.
" Your worse enemy, Lore." She swiftly answered. "I bet you– You'll not like it the next time I see you close to him." She scoffed, tilting her head in the process.
" I'm going to make your life a living hell for sure." She inched forward, her face a bit closer to hers. "Mark it on the wall, Lore."
She whispered and stormed off towards the ward. Loretta gazed at her back, puzzled. Bianca and Paola inched closer to her and held her hand.
" When did she become so brave all of a sudden?– I've never seen her like this before?" Paola muttered.
" Let's get out of here, Lore– We're already running late for class. We'll later think of what to do next, okay? Huh? " Bianca added. "Come on"
Bianca led her out of the hospital with Paola behind.
THE ANTONIO'S MANSION
Agnes was busily watering the flowers when she noticed Natasha's car drove in. It's been two days since she left the house without any information on her whereabouts. Everybody had been worried sick about her. They tried her line but to no avail.
Natasha parked and got down from the car, approaching the house. She wore a pale bruised face that looked quite deformed covered with a scarf that exposed just half of her face.
Elated by the sight of Natasha, Agnes dropped the pipe holes and sped towards her.
" Ma'am–" She cried. "God, you're finally backs– We were so worried about you." She exclaimed but Natasha just strolled off into the house without a word. Agnes instinctively looked down and away with a sheepish grin.
" Gosh, why is she like this?– She's kind of acting so strange today." She stuttered with a creased brow. "But why is she hiding her face? Is everything alright? " She whispered.
" Well, since she isn't ready to talk, let me get back to my chores before she starts barking like a wounded dog."
She hurried back to the flowers and continued with what she was doing.

I don't know what should I say. It's a very nice story combined with sad and real struggle in this life. Everytime the characters in this story experienced sadness, my tears dropped onto my cheeks, come in feeling what they feel. Just a little bit fix for grammar and error spelling words written and it would be great story I have ever read. Keep in spirit for the writer in order to continue writing other great stories.
