Desmond had been standing at the junction for the past 45minutes now but still no sign of Gisella anywhere. He gazed worriedly at the roads leading to the junction he stood, expectantly, depressed. " What's keeping her? Is every alright?" He mumbled with a furrowed brow and as of on an impulse, he stuttered. " Let me call and find out what's happening?" He drew out his phone and dialed her line but it couldn't get through. He sighed with his fixed gaze, nervously on the screen as he paced around. peep....peep.....peep..... a sound from behind drew his attention. He swiftly turned to find out who it was. It was the sound of Gisella's horn; She instinctively beckoned him in. He gave a broad smile and hopped onto the car. " What kept you so long, Gisella?" He immediately asked after settling in but then, he swiftly brushed it off. "Just forget it– Let's get going before the meeting starts." He assumed, turning to Lizzy who all along, stared from the back seat. "Good morning, Aunty." He greeted, his lips spread in a broad smile. " Good morning, Desmond–How are you?", Lizzy replied, returning his smile. " Great." " Alright, let's go "Gisella retorted as he steered the car back on their road– The rest of the journey continued with little talks. THE ANTONIO'S MANSION Natasha on the other hand, sat erect on her bed, elated as she watched Gisella, Lizzy, and Desmond on a screen that had appeared on the wall. She kept glancing at the clock from time as she adjusted her gaze between the screen and the clock. " Few more minutes to go, Gisella." She chuckled. "Your car will soon collide and catch fire after the brakes begin to fail." She muttered with a grin and burst into heartfelt laughter. FLASHBACK Natasha watched Gisel from up the stairs while she rushed on with Lizzy. A sinister smile instinctively formed on her face. "I can see you're prepared for this challenge... Gisel." She chortled. "Game on, let's see who survives after this fierce battle of revenge and defense." She eluded with a faint smile and stormed off into her room. A few minutes later, she crept out and trod to the garage while Gisella spoke to Desmond over the phone with no knowledge of what she was up to. She slowly and quietly opened the door of the garage and strolled to Antonio's car; it was the one Gisella had planned to use. " Here you are, my silent weapon." She whispered, switching on a smile as she slide underneath it. Natasha immediately drew out a sharp small knife from her pocket and disconnected one of the wires of the brake and pierced two small, tinny holes on the diesel tank. " Perfect–" She smiled. " Enjoy your ride to the world of our ancestors– my dear, Gisella." She eluded and crept back to her room. END OF FLASHBACK Natasha gazed at the clock for the last time and glanced back at the screen, expectantly. " Time up," She said on an impulse. "No escape this time, baby girl– send my warm greetings to your bastard dad and that bitch of a mother." She exclaimed, chuckling. ON THE ROAD Gisella was driving on top speed, chatting with Desmond as she discussed the documents of the contract with him. A video-like vision suddenly flashed in her eyes; she saw a little girl from nowhere, in the middle of the road while a trailer speedily approached their car on top speed. She tried to pull a brake but failed. " Oh my God–the kid !! " Lizzy shouted with an alarmed gaze. Desmond sharply stamped with a trembling voice. " Pull the break, Gisella.....hurry" " I can't–it's not working." She said with a tensed gaze as she struggled to bring the car under control, her heart raced in her chest. " What? – How?", they chorused, alarmed. " I don't know... " " Do something, Gisella– Just try anything."/Lizzy stammered, tensed. The trailer was almost a meter away from them and the kid was still on the road. " Damn it, what is happening!!–why isn't this thing working?", shouted Gisella, hitting her hand over the wheel. The trailer was very close now. The kid still stood in the middle of the road, staring at both vehicles in shock. Lizzy, Desmond, and Gisella cried in fear, screaming for a miracle. " Oh, my God..... Oh my God..... Oh no... " They kept praying and the car speedily approached head-on with speed.

I don't know what should I say. It's a very nice story combined with sad and real struggle in this life. Everytime the characters in this story experienced sadness, my tears dropped onto my cheeks, come in feeling what they feel. Just a little bit fix for grammar and error spelling words written and it would be great story I have ever read. Keep in spirit for the writer in order to continue writing other great stories.
