Chapter Twenty four

The Full Moon.
The day Lara has been waiting for: the day everything ends, the day Lara will rule the world, the day evil will prevail, the night Lara would be able to complete all unfinished business, the most important night of her life. She has waited for this night to come for months and it finally here. Her room was dark, but numerous candles provided some light. The curtains shielded the windows.
A large circle etched in the middle of her room, with blood and candles surrounding it, a skull at the end of each corner of the circle.
She poured some ash in front of the door of her room. She was dressed in black, looking nefarious, she packed her hair into a bun and applied some blood on her forehead. She sat in the circle while he appeared in front of her
.
“We’re starting. Make sure the ash doesn’t scatter. It needs to be there. No mistakes tonight, it important.”
“Ok,” he said.
Lara placed the skull in front of her. She closed her eyes, folded her legs, and spoke. “You are the author of death and pain. Bless your servant with the most gift of all, oh hail Satan, oh hail Satan, your servant makes a sacrifice to have the most gift of all in return.
The skull trembled, and after a moment, smoke emerged from the openings. Once she grasped control, she unleashed a demonic laugh.
He entered the circle and held the smoking skull.
“Go into the skull,” Lara said, her eyes still closed.
Her room became darker and smoky. The shadow slowly turned into a dark smoke, preparing himself to go into the skull. Before the shadow did, something diverted its direction, as if something else was in control. Once it left the room, the ashes scattered.
Lara sensed something was wrong. She wasn’t supposed to open her eyes until the end of the ritual, but she did. When learning that the shadow was gone, along with the skull, Lara arose from her position. She was about to step out of the circle when she collapsed.
Isabella P.O.V.
Today was the day that changed my whole life, the day I wished never happened: the full moon. This day marked a whole new beginning of my life, a day I will never forget
My parents were preparing for the ritual to end him. All the windows in the living room were closed and concealed. The lights were off, with candles providing light.
“Here. Wear this.” Mom gave me the holy chain. “You must stay in this circle. No matter what, don’t get out of it. even if you hear my voice telling you to come out, Isa”
“Okay, mom, I promise.”
She sprinkled holy water around me, creating a circle. “Be safe.” She kissed my forehead.
I kept biting my nails to the point where I numbed my fingers. I didn’t know what would happen, but I didn’t want to find out.
“Now is the time.” My mom held the book on one hand, and the holy water on the other. My dad retained the Bible and the sacred chain.
“Present yourself in the name of the Lord. He is the father, the son and the holy spirit. He is the protector, the savior Jesus. He is more powerful than you spirit” Mom sprinkled the water. She then opened the book and read. “Le ruego su presencia El diablo( I beg for your presence the devil), show yourself devil.
My body trembled when the room darkened, and a strong wind entered the room, blowing the flames off the candles.
“He’s here,” my mom declared. Everything was so dark. I was about to grab my phone when something startled me. A dark smoke appeared, turning into a shadow.
“I stop you in the name of the Lord, I stop all evil!, Heavily Father protect us from this unknown being. I cast and bind every spirit of evil. You don't belong here devil, go back to your world” Mom said while sprinkling the holy water on the shadow.
It disappeared for a while until it appeared in front of me. Screaming, I was about to step out of the circle until I remembered what my mom told me. I closed my eyes, holding the holy chain, and praying to God to protect me.
“Stop in the name of the Lord!” my mother shouted.
My eyes remained closed as loud noises and screams surrounded me until all was quiet. Something tapped my shoulders. My heart doubled in speed. Who was it? Before I could open my eyes, something dragged me from the circle and hugged me. I opened my eyes to see the lights on and the room scattered with displaced items.
“It’s okay. The evil is gone,, the evil has been retained Isa” my mom said, stroking my hair, my wiped my tears with my hand. I had no idea I have started crying.
"I was so scared mom."
"I'm so sorry honey, are you okay now."
“yes, did you kill him?” I asked.
“Yes and no, I took him back to his world but now he is trapped and can't come back but the evil is gone.”
"Every thing is going to be fine." I asked my mother.
"Yes, everything will be fine."
Relieved, I embraced my mother, tears forming in my eyes.
Three hours later
After we cleaned up the living room, I returned to my room, lying on my bed. I don’t think I’ll go through something like that again. A small beep from my phone brought me to reality. I unlocked my phone but sat up once I read the text.
“She’s gone.”
