The chieftain summoned General Rui, the only General of the Senzi Clan, to the capital. Naika was shaking. She was sitting in her chair in front of her desk. She was nervous and uncomfortable. Her eyes wet as she heard footsteps outside the room approaching the door. She heard someone knock and General Rui entered alone. He sees her touching her face with both of her hands. Her eyes were closed and he saw tears start dropping. He realized that something worse had happened. He immediately approached him as he saw the desk was fixed. "Any news of what happened to them?" General Rui asked as he sighed. He shouldn't be asking it, but he has nothing to ask but it. He stared at her and waited for an answer. "They're dead," she replied. She began to cry as her head came into contact with the desk. She screamed softly in agony as she sensed her swordsmen were all dead in different parts of the regions. She could feel their presence go away one by one. "How many?" he inquired again, staring at her and tapping her on the head with his right hand. He cleared his throat as he noticed her shaking her head left and right. "Almost all of them are dead... Rui. Almost all of them, but they've succeeded in defending those regions and villages, and I'm crying because I couldn't take their bodies home and fully honor their death," she sobbed. She sat back in her chair, in anguish, remembering the swordsmen they had despatched outside. "Huh, as expected. They are part of our clan, after all. Then I'll have Sergeant E collect their bodies if possible, and that damn Darkness they'll never succeed whatever they're planning, I guarantee you that, Naika," General Rui said, taking a long breath and making a stern look. Suddenly, an unknown soldier entered, wearing a mask with the word E written on it. He sighs as he walks towards the desk and closes the door behind him. As he took a step back, the General smiled brightly at him. "I'm glad you came, Sergeant E. Let's settle everything from here, but there's a chance that the other clans inside this City will get involved. We need to ask permission from the Heads," General Rui remarked as Sergeant E nodded. He was a fine tall young man dressed in a brown outfit with a cape and a sword on his left waist. "Thank you for having me, inviting me, and giving me one last chance to redeem myself. I promise to both of you that I will not fail in this mission with the Five and the army, not again," Sergeant E stated as he stood straight and looked at her. He notices her glare, and she notices his brown naive eyes. She couldn't tell if he was bluffing or not, so she was skeptical. "You better be because I'm going to cut your head off on my own, you're called Sergeant E, but you're not General Rui's Sergeant, think of that and you'll lead an army," she added menacingly, looking at him. He was sweating and trembling as he cleared his throat and nodded. "Your history got her father killed. Now's the time to show off and show us what you've really got. The Five Superiors that will be with you will move on their own, they are alarmed that they won't be reviewing orders from you but from me and her, your mission here is to guarantee those dead bodies back here, our fellow swordsman has fallen and I will say the news to the heads with you in the main Captain of this City," General Rui said solemnly as he circled Sergeant E while looking at him. "You got it, General. I'd like to ask, what if we fought an army and a group of those damn darks, should we fight them or retreat here? And who are these Five Superiors you're talking about?" He inquired as he noticed the General to his right take a big breath and clear his throat. "That will be your call, Sergeant E. And those Five Superiors are not your concern. As soon as you leave me, they'll be waiting at the gate of the City of Woods. When you get there, they'll be leaving immediately, they're the Five Superiors and nothing is stopping them from killing the enemies and about the group called "The Last," they are in contact with us," she said solemnly as she sighs and wipes her tears with both of her hands in her face. His eyes widened as he heard the last, but he quickly became serious. He sighs and clears his throat as he notices the General approaching the desk and looks at him menacingly. "They are coming, and they are close. I heard they saved one of our swordsmen, but the letter said they'll be leaving for now, but that swordsman will be in their custody for safety measures. It would be an honor if that man got trained by powerful men from The Last. I heard they are in another City, fully protecting it," General Rui added, sighing and chuckling. "All of these news are exciting and thrilling... But there is one problem. As you can see, I'm the reason why your father was killed, and it's because I made a bad call, but you were saved. Let me clarify that the one who killed your father was a Dark Swordsmen called a Deity, a powerful being that lurks around the forest all over the world for fun. They kill little villages all across the world for enjoyment, and they are the polar opposite of The Last. They are pure evil, and there are only a few of them," Sergeant E said as he noticed General Rui and Naika looking at each other before returning their gaze to him. "You're just bringing this up now, Sergeant E? Are you an idiot? Deity, so they're we're fighting, and we're sending men who aren't near those deities, have you forgotten that the darks who killed her father wiped out our five thousand men in one night?!" General Rui yelled angrily as he punched Sergeant E in the face. He was sent towards the door. He slammed to the door and his mask was lucky to be still intact. He stands straight and looked at General Rui in the distance furiously. He also sees Naika's facepalms. After the silence, Sergeant E approached them as if he have a good explanation for it. "You didn't let me finish. Your father wants me to keep this information hidden from all of you because they're not wiping Cities, and there's only a thirty percent chance that the swordsmen you both sent to those regions and villages will encounter them. So, we're fighting a different Darkness, one that's weaker than the Deity's," Sergeant E explained as General Rui nodded and calmed himself down. "Afternoon is approaching, we should get going. I'll send new scouts around the city for safety precautions," General Rui sighed and walked towards the door. Sergeant E cleared his throat and looked like he hasn't said everything. "General Rui, your son who died... He's still alive... He was turned into a monster and a dark swordsman. I think you still haven't known that, so I'm just breaking the news to you," Sergeant E stated, causing Naika's eyes to widen and her to rise from her seat. She notices General Rui's eyes flare as he turns around. Sergeant E's eyes began to water as he did not look around, but his eyes also began to water. "H-he was alive all along? W-why didn't you tell me?! WHY?! Since when! When! Sergeant E, did you know how many times I tried to find him since my son went missing? I secretly sent soldiers out there in the wild looking for my son and wife but I only found my wife! I thought he was killed but he wasn't, why did you just tell me it now?" General Rui exclaimed, holding back his tears. "Your son is now in his mid-20s, but it's unclear whether we can still bring him back to his past self where he knows you, but I don't see it. I learned this kind of information five years ago, and your son died nine years ago. It was from a messenger swordsman, he once saw your son's face in the darkness of the forest entering a warp portal, while I thought it would be better for you to hide it, but since I got confirmation it's him, I can't hide it now," Sergeant E stated as he turned around to face General Rui, who sat on the ground, tears welling up in his eyes as he stared at Sergeant E's not-bluffing eyes.
