Chapter 43 The Five First Superiors of Senzi Clan

"Wow! Look at this place, it's so capitalized!" said an anonymous swordswoman as she approached the Senzi Clan Village's capital. They drew the attention of a few unknowns working at the establishment. As they headed upstairs on their left, she was with a swordsman on her right.
"Shut up, Kurina! You're embarrassing me with a lot of people out here," the unknown swordsman said as he made an expressionless, behind the mask. She chuckled as soon as he said a word. She was also wearing a mask.
"Come on, I'm just trying to make you... Uhm, happy? No, not happy, I'm just trying to make you smile!" she exclaimed as she noticed him sigh and ignore her. She made a cute face behind the mask and he could see it in her mind that she avoided it.
They reached the hallway and saw the door to the capital's office in the distance. They both approached it and as soon as they reached it they both knocked and opened the door. They both entered as they saw General Rui in front of them, which made both of their eyes widen.
"General Rui?! W-what?! What are you doing here?" Kurina asked as the unknown swordsman on her side shut the door behind him. He also gave them a perplexed look, given that there were five of them in the room. They observe General Rui approach a couch, wiping his tears and taking a big breath.
"The two of you, sit on the right side of the room on the couch or remain standing for now. We will talk as soon as the other three arrive and leave these two, General Rui and Sergeant E, don't jump to a conclusion," Naika said solemnly as she stared at the two in the distance.
They nodded and smiled as they headed to the right side of the room to seat on a couch. They stayed silent as Sergeant E stood in front of her desk, staring at General Rui. He appears depressed, with tears streaming from his eyes. Naika sighs with both her palms clasped together.
"Sergeant E, you're still full of secrets, tell me what else you have? Don't tell me you have histories of books consisting of many swordsmens that are with us now. Tell me, what have you been doing with the underground leaders? You know that those leaders are the clan's main leaders of this City," General Rui said solemnly as the two superiors looked at them puzzled. Kurina's eyes widened as he pondered what the underground leaders were meant.
"What do you expect? I am Sergeant E, and I will soon be turned into Sergeant IT, Sergeant Informant... This is the only job I have left to help all of you, and once I'm turned into Sergeant IT, I'll be able to travel all around the giant nations, and it's for all of your safety," Sergeant E said as General Rui stood angrily glaring at him.
"Who do you think you are, Sergeant E? You've lost and cost us thousands of men under your leadership in the past, all of whom died! I don't care if you're older than me, but your decisions have gone beyond that, what made you think we'll still listen to you?" General Rui asked in a serious tone as he faced Sergeant E, smiling behind the mask and shaking his head left and right. General Rui stared at him and wanted to ask him what was silly, but he is still waiting for his response.
"Oh, General. You will, all of you! Just wait, you all will need me. Same as you Naika. I'm planning something for the greater good, why can't you both just accept the past and move on?! It's already been done!" Sergeant E was interrupted when General Rui grabbed his mouth with his right hand and nearly removed his mask. Naika looks at them both as General Rui tightens his grip on his mouth.
Sergeant E suddenly grabbed his sword with his left hand, but was instantly halted by Kurina, who held his left hand with hers. He caught a glimpse of her as the other unknown superior swordsman stood close behind him.
"Forget the past, you say? You are a bastard! You are so full of yourself! But you are simply a brat who doesn't know its place. You are here because you have a father who achieved a high ranking in the past but now you are just his kid that is too spoiled and too spoiled to understand what's right and wrong that you choose the wrong decision. Sergeant E, I, and Naika know you never learn from your mistake!" General Rui said furiously in a calm voice as he removed his hand from grabbing his mouth.
That made Sergeant E take a few steps back and bump into a swordsman behind him. She stops holding his left hand as Sergeant E sighs and clears his throat, looking at General Rui standing in front of a couch.
"We'll just see about that one, General. After I gave you good information this is what I got? Your son is alive and you can see him once again and try bringing him back. I told you that and after telling you that I became the enemy?" Sergeant E asked as he saw General Rui shake his head left and right and sigh. He sits back down on the couch as he sees the other two swordsmen and a swordswoman sitting back on the couch.
"You don't have to tell me about that one, Sergeant E. That day will come when I will meet him again, and I don't need you telling me what to do. I will kill him with my own sword if necessary. He has been turned into an enemy, a dark swordsman with no emotions, remember that, and that's what killed your father. Your mother was turned into a dark swordswoman and he thought he could bring him back with this kind of emotion or rather call love, he got killed by her own hands, and now you're here, not supposed to be," General Rui stated menacingly as he leaned back on the couch.
Sergeant E remained silent as he turned to his left and walked towards the door. He stopped next to the door as he opened it with his left hand and made an angry face behind the mask.
"I'll wait at the gate... The main gate, the City of Woods gate for the army," Sergeant E remarked as he walked out of the room without looking at them. As he exited the room, he passed a swordsman who appeared to be a teenager. As the young swordsman entered the room and closed the door behind him, he ignored him.
He made a blank face as he looked at them four. He sees General Rui standing up on his left. He approached the desk and he saw her sitting back down in her chair in unease. The young swordsman cleared his throat as the swordsman and swordswoman that was sitting on the couch stared at him thinking that he was lost.
"I believe I'm the Third. I was summoned here for specific reasons, and I want to know why," the young swordsman remarked, giving the swordsman and swordswoman on the couch shivers. They understood the young swordsman was one of them as well as a Superior.
"W-wait! You?! What?" Kurina shouted as the young swordsman ignored her with a blank expression. General Rui remained mute as he looked at Kurina while facing palms. Naika grinned as she noticed the young swordsman waiting for an answer.
"You'll be coming with them on a mission, and I'll tell you the mission once the five of you are completed. There are only three of you here, and after we talked to you five, we'll also be leaving immediately because I have a meeting to attend to," she stated as the young swordsman nodded. He turned to his left and approached the couch where the General was sitting. He sat on the couch while making an expressionless face.
He glanced at the other side of the room, seeing Kurina had her jaw dropped and still have her eyes widened in surprise, and couldn't believe that he would be joining them. She shook her head left and right as the swordsman next to her, face palms, thinking she was an idiot.
After a few minutes, the two superior swordsmen arrived. They immediately approached Naika in front of her desk and sat on her chair calmly. They showed no presence, which made General Rui stand and look at them.
He sensed that they were strange and powerful. They looked at Naika as they both made expressionless faces. She also made an expressionless face as she waited for the general to say something.
"What?" She asked as she looked at them while making a cute expressionless face. They both shake their heads left and right as they try not to blush. They both took a step back and turned to their left, looking at the General. The other superiors in the room that were sitting on the couch, stood and also looked at the General waiting for an answer and what the mission would be.
